KatsuMe is a gem hidden in plain sight. Ran by what seemed like a lovely couple, the restaurant is the perfect place to have a bite with a date / friends. I was initially hesitant about the prices, but the portions were much bigger than expected and well worth it. Everything was delicious and the woman serving us was a cutie.
The Katsu was especially worth it as it was gigantic and came with complementary rice and miso.

Good ambience, food is generally quite good. A bit pricey though.
The best: sotteok sotteok, garlic alfredo katsu
The good: yangnyeom chicken, beef curry, kimchi fried rice, takoyaki
The average: tofu mushroom nabe, bibimbap, kimchi pancake, bulgogi yakiudon, jjajangmyeon

Best katsu place in London from what I can tell. I loved the bulgogi as well, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is fantastic. Service was quick and polite. Definitely would recommend read more
This restaurant is relatively new (it opened last year in 2021) but the food is absolutely amazing. The overall vibe inside is great. It feels very fresh, modern and lively. Very courteous and helpful staff. The katsu they make here is some of the best. It tasted very fresh when I had it, something you won't find everywhere! I ordered the KatsuMe King Katsu and the portion was HUGE. However, the food was so delicious I ended up finishing the entire meal!
I also found the prices to be reasonable, which is especially important during this day of age with inflation.
They also have a Korean menu which is cool to see.
I'll definitely be back here again, I absolutely loved the food here. read more
