Called in a to-go order the other night. Everything was fabulous. The pot stickers were crispy on the outside with lots of flavor. The fried pork belly was delicious, tender and amazing. Absolutely amazing food. The chicken wings are fresh not frozen. The sauces & marinades are good as well. The ranch & Thai sweet chili are the best. The Thai sweet chili isn't hot. Wing Spot is a small, cozy sports bar and restaurant in Redding, CA that serves chicken wings and drumsticks that come in a multitude of flavors and cooking styles, that are so good that when we make the 300 mile trip to visit Redding, we go eat at Wing Spot. We live in the Monterey/San Jose, CA area and there are some excellent restaurants there, but we have yet to find a "chicken" restaurant that is as good as this homey, little sports bar/restaurant in Redding, Wing Spot. We don't drink, so can't really comment on the bar bar, other than it looks to have a wide selection. Rest room was clean, as usual. Staff friendly. Owner is an Asian guy by name of Lee, who has had a life long passion for cooking since he started working restaurants at about the age of 18. Very hospitable, he came over and brought us some shrimp rolls to try...since Wing Spot serves some interesting Asian foods. Do try their special dessert, we did. A welcomed fresh eatery listing while passing through Redding today! We ordered ahead so that we could get the kids fed quickly and get back on the road. The lady graciously accepted the request, and timed our order perfectly. Upon arrival, we took the last 4 top available. It was clean and despite the small dining area, the temperature was perfectly comfortable. Spots like these tend to have overflow of heat from the kitchen or just "dead air" muggy feeling. This place felt like a larger restaurant and we appreciated that SO much! Food came out in under a minute, and customer service was spot on with our requests. The food was delicious! We ordered the 24 pc wings- The kids devoured the Lemon Pepper variety, and my husband and I enjoyed our Korean BBQ & Buffalo stampede. We were offered more veggies, which were freshly washed, crisp & cold! The dipping sauces (ranch and blue cheese) were fresh and thick! The kids wanted to try desserts next. We didn't need full orders of both fried Oreos and fried cheesecake, so the sweet lady split the order for us. Truly a great family friendly establishment! We most definitely will be returning whenever we travel through Redding again so that we can support this amazing business and to try more sauces for the wings! This review is based on my experience as a delivery driver. The atmosphere and employees are amazing. When picking up orders the staff is friendly and communicates if any wait time. This is a huge plus as a delivery driver. Usually orders are ready to go when I arrive or just a small wait of a few minutes. Orders are packed and bagged perfectly for delivering. We stopped by on the drive back to the Bay, such good chicken! We ordered the Korean BBQ wings and split a spicy chicken sandwich (wasn't spicy but still delicious) with a side of waffle fries. All the meat was really fresh as was the bread on the chicken sandwich. They also have a bar and looked like a good selection of beers. Highly recommend this spot! read more

My wife and I discovered this restaurant a couple weeks ago and I'm glad we did! So far I've tried the Chicken wings, boneless strips, Chicken sandwich , potstickers, and the Crab Rangoons. Everyone of those items was some of the best I've ever eaten, particularly the boneless chicken, they're my current favorite! The staff are very friendly and inventive to your needs. BEST WiNGS in Redding! We have not had good wings in Redding since Roscoes on Lake Blvd closed well over 15 years ago! Garlic Parmesan was fantastic and the teriyaki was just as good. We will be going back until we have tried all the flavors! The sides look incredible too, cheese curds and onion rings, to mention a few. They have huge TVs to watch the games. Wing Spot is THE SPOT to get wings! I got an order of 8 boneless wings and the size of the wings definitely makes the price worth it! Not to mention being able to get two sauces on the order! The wings were cooked absolutely perfectly and even when there was a huge dinner rush, they were able to get my order out in a respectable amount of time! The bar looks absolutely awesome, with a super cool display on the wall of what they serve, as well as a decent variety of their beers on tap!
