Good (if small) wings, good fries, well-prepared tots, decent beer selection, and drink refills. My kid asks to come here and I am usually happy to oblige. But they need to figure out how to pace their dinner service. Sometimes they get so backed up on Postmates (etc.) orders that diners who are physically at the restaurant have to wait 30+ minutes for food to arrive. So. I dont normally get on here and bash a resturant. However I felt it necessary to write this review based on the poor service received at this establishment. I found this place and heard nothing but good things and they were all true. The wings were so good the sauces were good and they came out fast as well. On the other hand I find it very unprofessional for the waitress to tell you that she doeant have time because she has other customers and she is the only server. I also tried to make a suggestion to help her and she responded with an attitude. Needles to say we will not retun there because the waitress has other things that are more important than assisting customers who have never been there before. I believe her name was KELLY. Growing up in Buffalo, the wings here were disappointing. Small, some overcooked, some undercooked... and freaking EXPENSIVE... but all in all... nowhere else in Seattle even has anything close -- which is sad. Until a "Buffalo Wild Wings" or "Zaxbys" opens up here, I suggest hot wing lovers just buy their own deep fryer and make their own. My wife adores spicy hot wings and spicy Bloody Marys. When I want to put a smile on the Misses face I take her here. The floor can be a little sticky and the crowd can get a little loud, but so can our toddler! It's not the cheapest price for wings, but they have good weekly specials and the flavor is darn good! Wanted to try this place as I love wings. The house sauce is not what I was expecting with black pepper and vinegar being the base ingredients. The wings were ok- except there were so many bones as the wings were chopped from the third piece of the wing (if that makes sense?!) overall ok- but pick a different sauce from the house one! They have some pretty good wings. They got lots of glowing boxes to watch sports on. They have a great deck to sit when it's sunny. I have tried most of the other places and this one is the best one in town. Not the best I have ever had but good. Tasty wings but nothing phenomenal unless you'd like to eat something so spicy you'll throw up. Went here for a bachelor party and had a variety of things. Our appetizers of fried pickles, spicy ranch chips, and garlic cheese bread were all good. Then we ordered 9 pounds of various wings. All the wings were tasty. Western bbq, thai sweet chili, kamikaze, and 4 alarm, allvtheir sauces are good. My sambal peanut sauce wings had a good flavor but a little cold and all the wings were really small. I've honestly never had wings that small at a wing place but the meat was pretty good. The groom to be was going to attend the wing challenge there and upon our waitresses contest orientation he opted to try just two wings. He ate them and went and threw up 5 minutes after eating the wings. Entertaining for sure, but he wasn't up for much else after that. read more

Don't go here if you have a loud personality...my friends and I had been down at The Angry Beaver watching a hockey game, then decided to walk up to Wing Dome for some food after our team had won. I was reluctant to go back since the last time we were here, I'll just say the next day wasn't pretty for any of us. When we got there, we were loud & easily excitable while waiting to be sat, seeing as how our team had just WON. Instead of the manager coming over themselves to tell us we needed to quiet down (in an establishment with "Dome" in the name), I guess they made a passive agressive judgement call and told our waitress to tell us her manager said she couldn't "serve us"! I asked why, and she said her manager said we were obviously intoxicated. NOT EVEN CLOSE!! I was appalled, so needless to say though we were only there for food and NOT TO DRINK we took our business elsewhere. If there was a zero stars option, I would give it. Whoever the manager is here needs to rethink how they hide behind their servers instead of voicing concerns to patrons themselves. read more

Also we asked if they had cheese fries, and they came out with shredded cheddar cheese on top of their fries that was not melted all the way. Sometimes I crave chicken wings--I mean, I really crave them, but the last two times I've been here, my wings were way overcooked--overcooked to the point of being dry and tasteless. That has been a big enough bummer to make me think twice about going back. It's too bad because I love the atmosphere, the wing flavors, and the menu. I really like Wing Dome. They have a good thing going here. They have tons of great food - burgers, several different fries, and of course, awesome wings! The wings are good and they come with your choice of several different sauces other than just "hot wings." Some that come to mind are an awesome BBQ variety and the ones with cheese on them. However, I'm a purist, so I just order my wings Level 5 Hot, which is quite hot and typically makes me break out in a sweat (in a good way). If you're a true masochist, try the "Seven Deadly Wings" challenge - 7 Level 7 wings in under 7 minutes with no beverage and you have to finish the sauce - if you can do it, you get a free T-shirt and your picture on the wall, if you can't, you have to pay $7.77 and be heckled by all your friends while you sob in the corner. The best deal is definitely Sunday night - $40 for 40-odd wings with up to 4 sauce choices, plus a massive salad to share and basket of fries. This will easily feed 4-5 grown men. Wash it down with a couple icy cold beers and you're Sunday Funday will be complete! read more

I used to frequent the wing dome very regularly when I was in college 20 years ago. I loved it! Their 3alarm Wings, their burgers, even the simple wing dome salad we're all delicious. The place has changed a little bit since then. they are now owned by Metropolitan Grill, serve liquor, and most disappointingly the 3alarm sauce is now terrible! It is simply butter with some hot seasoning added to it. Their four alarm sauce is still the same delicious "saucey" sauce, but I do miss the old 3alarm recipe. The menu still states the three alarm is their most popular. I find that very surprising. Either way, when I am in the area I will still come in for a fix of 4alarm. read more

Did the 7-Alarm Challenge after seeing it on TV and realizing we'd be in the area... I don't recommend it. My partner in crime got 1.5 wings in before the pain started and he bailed. I managed to stuff the 7 down in 4 minutes to get the free shirt, but it was rough! 1-3 went down ok, after 4 and 5 however, the burn set in and I got a numbness and tingling sensation in both hands and forearms. I almost quit but after hearing I had 5 minutes left I went for it. The burn lasted for about an hour. Learn from my mistake, you will not enjoy this, and I can take some spice. You have been warned. WIng Dome is exactly what you would expect and hope in your typical 'wings n beer' joint but I appreciate that they are consistently tasty and don't disappoint in any area. The wing sauces can please just about anyone with their wide range in flavors and they really all are good. My favorites are the level 6, the Rasta (jerk chicken), and the lemony parmesan one. If you aren't quite in the mood to get messy, my favorite dish is the chicken skewers combo. It comes with about 5 skewers in the sauce of your choice (I opt for Rasta- yummy) with a side salad and fries. I appreciate the side of fries so that I don't feel like some salad sissy at a wing join. :P Service isn't anything to boast. When it's slower, its attentive and when they get busy, they have trouble keeping up but get the job done. So don't be a butthead and just understand that you have been warned if you show up during dinnertime. Are you thinking about doing the wing challenge? Make sure you are truly prepared... I have once attempted the 7 wings in 7 minutes challenge and came out a loser. I only had the sauce left when I ran out of time so I am a bit spiteful and hope to come back for a victory in the near future. It's no joke, every pore of your body cries with every bite. They may say it hurts twice but forget that - what hurts the most is when it's in digestion mode. I woke up in the middle of the night trying to decide if a doctor's visit would be necessary but thanks to a handy bottle of the pink stuff (yeah I chugged about half a bottle of Pepto at 3am - one of my prouder moments in life...obviously) I was able to carry on with life. I appreciate that Wingdome's little wingdome salad is a real salad for vegetarians, albiet a very teeny version. Ther lettuce is romaine instead of white iceberg, & it came with tomato, olives, parmesan, onion, garbanzo beans, & croutons. I ordered 2 of them, and really needed 3-4 (at $4 a pop it seems ridiculous to have to spend that much on a not-gourmet salad). The salad dressing is a creamy ranch-like sauce with buffalo wing sauce mixed in, so its really delicious. The waffle fries are awesome - crispy on the outside, nice & soft on the inside, and especially good when covered with melted cheddar. The crinkle cut fries looked like they would be dried & boring, but are actually quite moist on the inside & crispy on the outside. Yum. If you got a hankering for wings, check this place out. They have really good daily deals on wing specials and what not (3lbs of wings and a pitcher of beer for $35? sign me up). Their personal hot wing sauce is really good. We got 3 different sauces and it was the best, loaded with garlic too. Seems like a good place to watch a game as there are tons of TVs. As stated in other reviews, service was shotty (missing items that were ordered, missing sides that were ordered, missing sauces etc). As service industry people, we would have no issues with this if they were in the weeds and the place was packed. It was busy but not super packed and the servers were pretty lax in moving quickly and efficiently All in all, we will be back for the food as it definitely makes up for the service. And hey, as long as i get my wings and beer, its all good read more

Sat at the bar. Staff didn't seem super friendly but it was okay. I like my wings super extra crispy and they did that perfectly when I requested which is rare. Their sauces were okay. The triple garlic wasn't exactly what I was expecting - it was super sweet. The Parmesan garlic one was also different than I expected it was thinner than most sauces and very white. It wasn't terrible but again not exactly what I was expecting. Overall it was an okay dinner. I would probably get more traditional spicy sauces if I go back. read more

Well, the dinner menu now makes you get a minimum order of a pound of wings. I couldn't get a half a pound of wings. If you get a burger and want wings with that? Have to get the full pound.
