The bartender was courteous however, I've been sitting here for nearly an hour. I placed a to-go order around 5:30. Still haven't received it. An hour wait for a To-go order is unacceptable. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

The Cilantro Lime Chicken strips were full of Cilantro and medium rare. Took one bite and needed to exit to get Pepto before getting sick. The waitress kind of sensed things were not good and asked but I was vague. Her kindness, concern, and helpfulness was appreciated because this was my first visit (and last). The restaurant has lots of television screens and somewhat loud music playing so the ambiance is like a Wingstop or similar wings and drinks location that could be fun after work with colleagues for a few drinks but avoid the food.

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with the distinct smell of old bar water mixed with a bucket of mop sauce. It was pretty disgusting... and I still sat down. It was the dirty rag being dragged across the counter where my beer was gonna sit where I drew the line. I asked the waitress if the rag was clean. If a patron is asking that, the staff should prolly get an idea that possibly there is some distrust from the patron, like, I dunno, maybe they smell something or, maybe, they saw the hand towel that was used and the dinginess of it. I've been here four times and every time the experiences left a lot to be desired. The first time was just us, a friend and her boys. The food was ok, the drinks were amazing, but the restaurant itself was just poorly maintained. Our wait staff was ok, nothing to complain about but nothing memorable or especially motivating to say we had great service. The second time, the waitress was much more present but again the restaurant had a distinct odor and just had a feeling of ick, like you found the Southside of San Antonio's dungeon and there was moss and algae growing. The worst part was my son getting really sick. I have an iron stomach but my son was out for two days and it wa The last time I came by because the game was on. There's a Planet Fitness in the same shopping center and I'm assuming that ALL the bodybuilders, gymrats, and staff ALL came at the same time and had finished doing a HIIT routine because damn it stank. I looked at my waitress in the eye after asking her if the tag was clean, she looked at me like I had asked her out on a date in sign language. Mouth agape and the eye roll was enough to tell me she didn't really give a damn. I left without a drink, the score, or a goodbye as I couldn't help but wonder how the hell this place stunk so bad. Pro Tip: There's a Subway next door; now look, I'm not one to be casually recommending Subway to folks but if your are desperately hungry and can't bother to drive to Don Pedro's down the street, get this instead. The smell of 6 cheese bread is better than wet socks around the corner.

A fun and spacious place to go and watch games, unfortunately the tv's are connected in a way where you can only watch certain games. We weren't able to watch the game we wanted at the table we were sitting at - it was a bit of distance in viewing the game. Food was great - awesome selection of menu items from appetizers to main entrees and the specialty cocktails were a lot of fun. I got the peach margarita with peach gummies. The wing sauces to choose from were plenty and the hot was definitely on fire! The service was great, she literally asked us if we needed anything every single time she walked by.

First time coming to Wing Daddy's, wings are HORRIBLE! I asked well done cuz I like them crispy. They are soggy and extremely greasy. I came just to try something new but I really don't recommend it. Wings are like the size of a regular chicken leg. Such a bad experience.

Raw meat/ mangorita taste like a raspa. Possibly very little alcohol if any???

Service is bad restaurant is not being cleaned up. Green chilli burger meat was raw,not cooked well and the fries were cold. , mangorita taste like a raspa, tasted no alcohol at all !!! Was ugly. Manger was no where.

The texture of fish is crunchy on the outside with a flaky, meaty texture on the inside . The wings are fried in a way that's just right. They are crunchy and the sauce adheres so well without making them soggy. The green beans, red beans, and wedges are great options for sides to accompany the fish and wings. It was my first time ordering from a place with this type of setup. It was so cool! I scanned my order on an iPad and open pops a locker door with my food. If you're in the mood for fried fish and wings...this place does not miss.

When I came up to the place it wasn't a sit down place to eat, but that you have to order which was confusing as there were a lot of other restaurants within the small space. There was a guy there that was picking up wing and he stated that they were the best and big pieces. So he showed me how to order. And I place my order as it was Wednesday dollar day for wings so I order wings. I had the parmesan garlic, lemon pepper. Let me tell you they were so good, the wait was too long but worth the wait. It best to order online then go pick up. The restroom were locked so that is why I gave 4 and we weren't able to speak with no one. If you need any special thing or extras please write it I. The space provided because they don't give you anything but what you order no napkin just nothing else. Enjoy and hope the you didn't forget to order anything special or extra as you won't get it.

No matter where you sit, you're not missing a game. It actually reminded me a little of the old ESPN Zone in Times Square with how surrounded you are by screens. I brought my friends here for a little dinner date, and we still had fun just hanging out and watching the games. The atmosphere really does carry the experience. Now, the food itself... it's alright. Nothing terrible, nothing amazing--just heavy. I tried the hot wings and the spicy mango ones (can't remember the exact name), and both had solid flavor. Still, everything from the wings to the burgers feels dense. Even the fries come out oversized and hit your stomach like a brick. One of my friends got a burger and he felt it right away; it just didn't sit well. One thing I didn't love is how cold the AC is. The plates aren't heated, so your food cools down almost instantly. For a place that leans into fried foods and sauces, that kinda kills the experience. And I'm pretty sure most of the food is frozen and processed, so I don't expect the fries to be hand-cut or anything, but I do wish the overall quality felt lighter and fresher. Overall, Pluckers is a solid spot if you're coming to watch a game and snack on something small. But for a full meal? Probably not. You're mostly paying for the atmosphere, not the food. Still, we had a good time, and I'd give it a 3/5.

That's how I ended up trying Anthony Fish & Chicken, and honestly it turned out better than expected. The restaurant is located on the east side of San Antonio, which happens to be the area I grew up in. Some people who aren't familiar with the area might consider it a little rough, but in my experience those neighborhoods often have some of the best food in the city. I called in my order and was quoted about 25 minutes. It took a little longer than that, but it wasn't a problem. When I pulled up there were a grip of cars waiting for food, so clearly the place stays busy. One thing to know if it's your first time: if you don't call ahead, you order at the window. I accidentally tried going inside at first and was told they were serving through the window only, which was fair enough. I ordered the 15-piece lemon pepper chicken, which came with fries and two slices of bread. We also grabbed steak nachos at the last minute, and those didn't even make it home because they got demolished in the car. They were loaded with toppings and I'm pretty sure they used Doritos for the chips, which added extra flavor. The chicken itself was excellent. Crispy, fresh, and clearly made to order. The legs and thighs were seasoned well and the portion size was generous. A 15-piece could easily feed a small family of three or four. Between the nachos and a couple sides we made at home, it actually ended up feeding five people comfortably. The crinkle cut fries were also solid and had a nice seasoning on them, and the hot sauce they give with the chicken paired really well. When I arrived there were a grip of cars waiting, and after trying the food I understand why. Compared to my number one fried chicken spot, Chatman's Chicken, this place honestly holds its own. The chicken here is crispy, fresh, and flavorful all the way through. Another thing I appreciated was the value. I've seen places around San Antonio charging close to $20 for a simple three-piece meal, and the food doesn't even come close to this quality. Here the portions and price felt much more reasonable. Anthony's definitely has something going on. They have a solid menu with plenty of combos and options for a good price. Next time I'll probably try the wings because they looked great coming out of the kitchen. Overall this spot definitely satisfied my fried chicken craving. I'll be back again.
