If you're looking for a great burger spot...look no further!! We came here for a yelp elite event and it did not disappoint!! They serve smash burgers and have many different options!! The burgers are huge which is a plus!! They also have seasoned fries which were crispy and delicious!! The service was great and the atmosphere is very burger spot like!! Go check them out!!

Best burger I've had in a long time. I got it to go and barely had to wait at all. I like the giant mural on the wall that was painted by a local artist. The fries were perfectly crispy, too.

We went on a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant wasn't too busy. I was surprised at how quickly the food was prepared after we ordered. I didn't quite know what to expect so I was pleasantly surprised to see that the burgers are smash burger style. I got the fun guy and it was tasty! I didn't have time to ask what burger my son got because he ate it so quickly. It must have been good! The fries and onion rings were just okay, I would skip them in the future. I took half my burger home and it was good reheated the next day. I will definitely go back when I'm craving a good burger.

This should be on the side of their building HA HA HA!

Expectations adequately met. Well done and they need to open more locations. I ordered the "meat head" with a side of seasoned fries. The whole thing was delish. Serious kuddos to the chefs. The burger and fries were served piping hot.... at a safe level mind you. I can't remember the last time I ate a burger that was this fresh off the stove that still had steam resonating from it. A few notes though.... the house sauce is nothing to remember. It is a mix of mustard, ketchup, and relish...if I remember correctly. To be honest I couldn't taste the smallest note of that sauce. Still the burger and fries was very very good. I am a satisfied customer. The establishment looked and felt very clean. The staff was very polite and welcoming. Marco was the guy running the front register and checking to make sure I had all I needed after I sat down and brought me my order. This place also has Beer on Tap!!

So excited to have tried this location, I have heard many great things about it and man, it did NOT disappoint. First off, the parking is great there's tons to choose from. Upon entry, we were already greeted, which made me feel welcomed. There's plenty of seating, so don't worry. Great music played, I was already enjoying the place! The staff was able to go over the menu with us and explain all that they had, he even made suggestions to what he likes, which I appreciate. I ordered the meathead added crispy jalapeños with a side of burger sauce and ranch. I also got the chicken BLT and added hot honey (game changer). I was so excited for the fresh lemonade options! Both were delicious. Now the food came out fast, about 10mins almost after sitting (approximately 8mins). So at this pace, everything's going quick, but so grateful due to everything being super hot and fresh! My burger was amazing, adding those sauces on the side to drizzle on my burger was amazing. The chicken BLT with hot honey was fantastic, great flavors all around. We tried both seasoned and salted fries and BOTH hit the spot, you cannot go wrong. The staff kept checking in to make sure everything was good, I could not be more thankful. For sure coming back again, I am going to let my family friends know about this location, they really care about their customers!

Decided to go again after the yelp elite event. And going to the potranco location with a friend for lunch. This time I took a burger connoisseur, we ordered the peanut butter bacon pickle burger, the meat head, and I tried the new big shot burger. We got the shareable fries and onion rings to split for the three of us. The cashier was wonderful, answered questions, and assisted us in our questions. He even checked on us once our food was served and cleared up extra plates in a timely manner. This location and I assume all killer burgers had a wonderful soundtrack playing. It can be a bit loud. It felt like a club at times but I could just be getting older and wanting to complain. The art and mural on the wall is representative of the local area. I love this place and wish they had a location closer to us. However we will make the drive to enjoy a delicious burger.

The burgers were really good! Fries I'd say were nice and crispy even though we got everything to-go. It did take a while to just pickup our food with just one person in front of us but the staff was nice.

So mixed between a 3 and 4. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is convenient and parking is plenty. The inside is designed well. Loved the murals! For as busy as they were, seats were at a premium. Beer on tap and in bottle. Soft drinks but only one diet :( They have chicken and vegan options as well. As for the food ... I tried the TeeMah burger ... bacon, Swiss fondue, blue cheese, sauce, grilled onions and pickles. It was a lot going on for one burger. I generally liked the mix of flavors but I did end up taking off the pickles. Yet too much cheese and sauce left the patty sliding off the bun, and the bun disintegrating about halfway through. The fried were crunch outside and soft inside but had little seasoning. They do have a variety of dipping sauces but I did not try them. TIP: Keep the bib around the burger that it is served in ... otherwise it is a mess.

A bring-it-to-you service style fast burger joint with a goodly selection of burgers, chicken sandwiches, sides, sauces, and drink selections - plus features eight beers on tap. Service was sufficiently fast, and the staff courteous and friendly. It provides a truly "killer" burger for their very reasonable price - I ordered the "Classic" for $11.44. I got a big sandwich thats tasty and loaded with bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion and their sauce. A meal in itself. Nice clean place with sort of hip vibe - for a fast food joint. Nicely decorated, featuring an updated giant Rosie the Riveter with a Killer Burger, and a most wanted style graphic of "killer" musicians. Pretty cool. It is clearly targeting youth and young adults/families with this decor and its punk and hard rock soundtrack. The only real downside in my opinion is the noise. The music is loud and the cacophonous acoustics amplifies every sound in the place. It is so noisy, not only did I have a hard time hearing the youthful staff, they clearly couldn't hear me either. Its an assault on the hearing. They need to some acoustical dampening at least. I recommend this new south side burger option with 4-stars on a scale for this type of fast food place. I'll certainly be back (just might bring some earplugs though)

The store was pumping. So busy. You queue up to order then they bring it to you. We were really sad they were out of the onion rings. I love onion rings. Not enough places do that We had the peanut butter pickle burger, mr fun guy, teemah and the motley que. I loved the fun guy the most. The fries were really good too. We got the spicy sauce. It was actually quite spicy and I'm a fan of spice Service was great. Food came out super quick.

Killer Burger (Shout-out to Brooks location) has been so good to us we had it two days in a row (oops); we loved it. We just did take-out, place looks decent, the workers have been nice and happy for the most part. I didn't take a picture of our previous orders but had to share the love for sure today. We do like their house sauce, don't forget to add that on. Burgers have all been great. Fries are good fries. Yesterday we did delivery through a third-party, and everything was packaged nicely, was still at a great temperature, and just as delicious. Not pictured, the Motley Qüe, was also a great hit in our household. It was so so tasty, as the barbecue sauce they had was really good. Highly recommend!

Killer Burger really killed it -- in the BEST way. I stopped by yesterday and had such a great experience from start to finish. First off, the customer service was top-tier -- super friendly, helpful, and fast! Now let's talk food ‍ I tried the Peanut Butter Pickle Bacon burger, and as wild as that combo sounds... it works. Like, REALLY works. Juicy but not greasy, packed with flavor, and that bread?? Absolutely delicious. Soft, sturdy, and honestly the cherry on top of an already amazing burger. Also tried the Meathead and let me tell you -- if you're coming off a gym day and need to refuel, that's the one. Big, bold, satisfying. Don't even get me started on the fries -- thick, crispy, and golden. And their house-made dipping sauces? You HAVE to try them. Each one was better than the last. Highly recommend this spot for burger lovers looking for something bold and unforgettable. Will definitely be back

Mural

Highly recommend the PB pickle burger and fries. They are addictive. Service was excellent and courteous. They got cherry pepsi and lemonade. Onion rings were crispy and sweet on the inside. Only regret is not asking for more pickles so tangy. Murals and brand new everything. Beers on draft.

FIRST TIME VISIT!…read more Woohoo! Been looking for chili cheese fries and happened upon a review for this place boasting fries with a homemade chili so we HAD TO stop in tonight. THE LOCATION: on the very end of a string of businesses in a strip mall that I've never been in before, so that was cool. Lots of parking, that'll never be an issue. And right off the 410. THE MENU: Burgers, dogs, Mexi-style munchies and a variety of frozen dessert-type items like shakes, frozen fruit concoctions and Italian ice. THE STAFF: I wasn't overwhelmed with a warm welcome and smiles, at least from the guys. Lol! They should really work on that. There was a sweet gal who ran out our food orders and she was great. THE FOOD: I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich deluxe with tots and a sweet tea. The grilled chicken was juicy and cooked well and the bun was lovely, slightly sweet and toasted. Overall, the sandwich could've used more flavor, like a creamy bbq spread and cheddar instead of the "Swiss" cheese that tasted more like American cheese. But overall, 7/10. The tots were extra crispy and the guy who took my order didn't take heed to my request for ranch. I was too lazy to get up again so I settled for ketchup. The sweet tea was nicely sweet and fresh, I'll be sipping this in my dreams. The hubby ordered the bacon cheeseburger with chili cheese fries and an Oreo cookie shake. The burger looked good and he ate it quick, so there's that. This guy can EAT so it surprised us both when he slowed down fast after eating that burger. Lol! He kept saying how filling it was, but then he also killed a large shake before the food arrived, so there's that. He ate most of his chili cheese fries, leaving me a few bites to sample. Not bad. I order a Coco Haven frozen dessert to go and omg is this thing delightful! Vanilla ice cream and coconut Italian ice (?) with a blue snow cone-like syrup drizzled throughout. I loved the texture of what I believed to be Italian ice. Smooth and flaky, a perfect icy dessert. OVERALL: decent eatery, the hubby said we can go back (LOL!) Shockerrrrr! But I recommend the staff tries harder to make customers feel welcomed and comfortable. The next visit will be telling.

They've got a solid lineup of burgers on the menu, but I was there for one thing, their Philly cheesesteaks. We both ordered the fully loaded version with fajita peppers and a side of crispy tots. The sandwich was stacked, flavorful, and cooked just right, easily one of the better cheesesteaks you'll find around here. If you're looking for great burgers and even better cheesesteaks, Smash'd is absolutely your spot. Friendly service, good portions, and a menu that hits the mark. Highly recommend checking it out.

Yeah, okay, it's convenient, but by the time you pay to park (minimum of four hours, which pissed me off) and then have your tiny, overpriced burger...you gonna be mad. Do yourself a favor and fight for street parking. I walked up to the outside counter Saturday night about 7:20. Never been here. The ladies behind the counter obviously could NOT have cared less. No nice welcome...no pleasantries. Nothing said. I spoke first, asking about seating availability inside (it was chilly), and they were rude - looked at me like I was from outer space and said they didn't know. They said they didn't know in that "yeah, good luck with that...it's Saturday at 7, dumbass" kinda way. How could you not know? And if you truly didn't know, which one of them should have gone to check for me. So I went and checked myself. Turns out: plenty of seating. Returned to the chilly duo and placed my order. Ordered the Wake and Bacon burger. I also ordered a Topo Chico, which was also met with a blank "are you from this planet?" stare. How do you not have Topo Chico or something similar !? The burger was just okay. Tiny, but tasty. Fries were so salty and over-seasoned as to be almost inedible. No one checked on me after bringing me my burger. Not one time. The only reason I gave the third star: neat, dog friendly outside area which would be cool for a group outing. Probably not going back.

Drinks were AMAZING! Bartender Rob made the best Negroni I've ever had. I asked him to use whatever gin he thought best--result was an artistic smooooooth full-bodied drink. Told him when I was done I'd lick the glass if it wasn't considered so uncouth for a 'mature' lady like myself to do so Hubby's Buffalo Trace bourbon old fashioned was also outstanding. Rob was the bartender last night who did such a great job, and his work was even better tonight. We highly recommend The EsquireTavern for excellent cocktails. We love the long wood bar and high copper ceiling upstairs, but love the intimate speakeasy atmosphere downstairs even more. We'll definitely be back every time we're in San Antonio! First review, Friday night: Drinks were great (Manhattan and Bourbon Old Fashioned). REAL drinks, no complaints at all about those. And the bartenders were very friendly and helpful. Those aspects of the Esquire get 5+ stars from us. But the appetizers were not good, close to inedible. It was about 8:30pm or so, so maybe they were getting ready to close out the kitchen but the chalupitas with chicken tasted like rubber, and no flavor at all. The seafood platter had something in it that was breading with shell inside, but no meat of any kind. We couldn't figure out what it was supposed to be. The shrimp was good and the fish was good but those other things... We'll always love the drinks, the long wooden bar, and the ambiance at the Esquire Tavern, but we'll eat somewhere else and come here for before or after dinner drinks. (See update above to this review for when we returned the next night for after dinner drinks.)

They put the perfect amount of mustard on it too! See the photos, but it comes covered with cabbage & crispy fried onions. It is amazing. My partner and I went on a Sunday morning just after 11am and there were already people coming in to eat. It's popular for a reason! I've eaten here a few times and had a very consistently good time, but this review will be about my most recent visit. We visited on a rainy day, but luckily we were able to snag one of the inside tables, we ordered at the counter and our orders arrived very quickly. I got the Ratchet dog which is a beef dog with queso, hot Cheetos and fried jalapeños. Dogfather uses quality dogs and buns for all of their gourmet dogs. I found the Ratchet to be meaty, salty with just right amount of spice from the jalapeños. My partner got the Pop it like it's hot, but removed the jalapeños. This was good but lacking a bit of flavor, however she and I both agreed that was on her for taking the jalapeños off the dog. Both dogs were extremely tasty, and we devoured both. I also got an order of curly fries loaded with their chili and cheese. For me, these did not have to go as HARD as they did. The chili they are using at Dogfather is seriously good, with a slight tang and a good amount of spice. It thrills but does not take away from your meal with too much heat. Very tasty. My only feedback is that Dogfather needs a larger space! There's a good size outside seating area, but for times like today when it's raining people need some coverage. They're doing it right and the crowds want to come! As I have stated this is a local favorite. If you live nearby, make it a regular spot. If you live in San Antonio, do yourself a favor and make a trip over at least sometimes. If you like hot dogs you won't go wrong.

These burgers were no joke: meat, cheese, grilled onions, and a secret sauce--and honestly, they didn't need anything else. The grilled onions and sauce were the perfect compliment, and you could taste every flavor in each bite. The drinks came in cans. I didn't notice a fountain setup, so that might be why.
