If your carpet is rippling it's probably because you scooted heavy furniture across it several times. I mean, I've done it a couple times (book shelf lol) and I still had no rippling. No loose laminate, no chipped tile. Everything we chose to have installed has proven to be sturdy and reliable. Our dishwasher flooded some of the laminate installed the kitchen and Murley's had a guy come rip and replace it quickly and easily. He went above and beyond and even fixed up the bottom of our cabinets (we didn't ask or expect that!) We have been so impressed that we had tile put in the bathroom and laundry room, and just recently of this year, tile in our living room. Everything looks outstanding and we have never had a problem. I am honestly surprised at any negative reviews. Some of them sound personal and not related to the actual flooring aspect of this company at all. And the others that were sound like they've been remedied immediately by the company. I am confident that you will be pleased with choosing Murley's. And if you aren't, I'm positive that if you give them a chance to make it right, they will. I've had tons of stuff done to my house from baseboards to doors, windows and more. He was really nice and apologized for the poor experience. He informed me of a few things that I thought I would share with other yelp readers: 1. One reason the installation is more expensive than some of the other local businesses is that they offer warranty on the carpet. which was stated at the time of purchase and while we were looking at other installers none of them offered warranty on the carpet. 2. it seems that the store is new and that they are working through some of the different aspects of the business. Some people were not trained properly and he took full responsibility for that. 3. Great Floors has since stopped working with the people who installed our carpet due to many complaints. 4. He thanked me for my review and that they actually used it to help improve communication and to discuss procedures etc.. I was very pleased with my conversation. He expressed that they take customer reviews very seriously and they are improving/correcting the things that need correction. This work took over six months with many delays and re-dos. Now, only 3 years later, the shower floor is leaking. The subcontractor was Vadim Zolotnyuk, VZ Precise LLC. As soon as the damage was detected (June 2025), we contacted Great Floors and are advised they only provide a 1 year warranty. One year on a complete shower remodel? A shower should MANY MANY more years than this! The estimate to repair is more than $7,000 because the subcontractor also took the extra tile and of course it's discontinued. Our entire remodel cost well over $30,000. Customers should expect better treatment than this. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
