But they didn't replace it with pressure treated lumber. i wanted to paint the regular 2 x 4 to protect it and make it look better, but they said they had to install it and there was no time to paint it. They could have dropped it off the day before so Icould have painted it.

I appreciate his thoroughness and cleaning up everything. He also assembled a small side table for me while he was here and included it in just the cost of the gate repair work. He custom built a metal netting, painted it, and installed it on top of the post to deter the birds from building any more nests. It was awesome!
