BUYER BEWARE! In 2022, because we had a good experience with carpet installation, we contracted with Great Floors Kennewick to remodel our two bathrooms. This work took over six months with many delays and re-dos. Now, only 3 years later, the shower floor is leaking. The subcontractor was Vadim Zolotnyuk, VZ Precise LLC. As soon as the damage was detected (June 2025), we contacted Great Floors and are advised they only provide a 1 year warranty. One year on a complete shower remodel? A shower should MANY MANY more years than this! The estimate to repair is more than $7,000 because the subcontractor also took the extra tile and of course it's discontinued. Our entire remodel cost well over $30,000. Customers should expect better treatment than this. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

We had LVP installed in our kitchen, breakfast room and family room. Our sales rep was very professional and knowledgeable without pressuring us. The installer did an excellent job. We had one small issue with the kitchen floor but the installation manager saw that everything was resolved to our satisfaction. Communication was excellent and we are extremely satisfied with our floors. read more

Our home needed to be updated. We decided to replace the kitchen back splash and the floors in the office, hallways, kitchen, greatroom and all bedrooms. We shopped several flooring stores before deciding to contract with Great Floors, Kennewick. Upon entering the store, we were immediately greeted by Kelly. Her passion , commitment to detail and over 20 years of home design came through as she helped us decide what style of laminate, carpet and tile would be best for our home. All the products came in on time 3 weeks later and installation was completed in 6 days by a Master of Flooring/ Tile; Colton and his assistant Oscar. The person who laid the carpet was also brilliant. This was an amazing team and we strongly recommend them!! read more

Do not buy from these people. I remodeled my whole house and it was a complete disaster. Every cabinet I ordered was wrong or broken and had to be repaired by my contractors. I was short all the tile ordered which held up my subs from coming and finishing . I had to fire the contractors they sent me and pay them so lost 20,000.00 and had to hire a new company which were amazing to fix's all of the mistakes that were made by great floors. The lady that orders the cabinets does not know how to measure. I ended up not being to completely finish my remodel after 6 months as I drained my budget. They are very rude people and when my cabinets came in they said they would not deliver them so I had to pay my contractors for there time to pick them up . This company should not be in business and I strongly advise you not to deal with them . read more

Customer service is non existent. We regret spending any money there. We are unable to get calls returned. Sales person is eager to make the sales, very much not into service after that. I would have expected much more from this company. The choices are wonderful and showroom is beautiful. However, I would rather have bought from a box store, at least they are honest. I picked out tile and other things to purchase next, someone else will get my money now. I am so disappointed. read more

The store manager ( or district manager ?) read my review and contacted me to discuss the details of my experience. He was able to discuss the job details with the staff that we had worked with but he wanted to contact me and discuss them. I was really surprised to get a phone call. He was really nice and apologized for the poor experience. He informed me of a few things that I thought I would share with other yelp readers: 1. One reason the installation is more expensive than some of the other local businesses is that they offer warranty on the carpet. which was stated at the time of purchase and while we were looking at other installers none of them offered warranty on the carpet. 2. it seems that the store is new and that they are working through some of the different aspects of the business. Some people were not trained properly and he took full responsibility for that. 3. Great Floors has since stopped working with the people who installed our carpet due to many complaints. 4. He thanked me for my review and that they actually used it to help improve communication and to discuss procedures etc.. I was very pleased with my conversation. He expressed that they take customer reviews very seriously and they are improving/correcting the things that need correction. I am no longer in need for flooring but maybe the installation process will be better now for other people. I rated this a 4 star because I was very happy with my conversation and felt that the store manager took what I said seriously. read more

Amazing service from Sean and Steve at the Great Floors in Kennewick. The experience was so great and easy, they will forever be my first stop when shopping for flooring in the future. The selection is great and the shop is comfortable. Everything about the place is world class, but most of all, the assistance. They aren't out to take your last buck and are generally interested in your wants/needs/ and what you should know that you maybe didn't think to ask. Thanks Sean and Steve! read more

This company is way too busy. They should have saved $$ and not attended the Home Show at the TRAC. I needed our basement re-floored, met them at Show on Feb 25 and they said they'd send someone out. After calling them 10 days later they sent an estimator out on March 12. Crickets after that. I contacted them (via email) on April 5 and they sent out another estimator on April 6. I answered a question (via email) also on April 6 and they never responded with any quote or any communication that they were not interested in the work. As of today, June 6, I'm giving up and have hired another company. read more

When the floor we wanted from another store went on backorder, we were under the gun to find a different option with a similar price point. We bought laminate floor from Jeremiah and couldn't be happier! Not only does Great Floors have an awesome selection, but their prices are great and unlike many competitors they can get the flooring FAST. We shopped many local stores and NOBODY had the same level of professionalism, expertise and integrity. We were so happy with the laminate floor, we went back to them for carpet too. Steve hooked us up with a gorgeous nylon carpet and the installers were just as helpful and professional as the store staff. read more

Brenda was a big help. She was very knowledgeable and patient as I searched for the perfect floor. She was helpful and even worked with my installer to ensure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend working with Brenda. read more

We visited Great Floors in Kennewick, Washington, looking for carpet last night, December 9th. We found a roll of carpet that we liked at $1.99 per square foot (on sale), and walked out planning to purchase it tonight, the 10th, for $689.27, after we verified the dimensions again. That price included the price of an upgraded pad. We went back there tonight and they had jacked up the price to $938.98, saying that they had to add 10 more yards to cover our floor space. The sales clerk couldn't exactly explain why the price had changed so much, even though she explained that she had her manager (or coworker) look it over. Today, they sold 125 yards from the roll to a private contractor, which left 89 yards on the roll. They probably did not want to sell the small amount we needed to us, because then they would be stuck with the remnant of approximately 60 yards. It was easier for them to renege on us, knowing that we would just walk out. But they have forgotten about social media. The public needs to know how Great Floors treat their customers, private or commercial. Buyer beware... read more

Was about to order (I was super excited) after the Great Floors man came and measured my room (good experience there) but the store added $250 minimum. I had no idea what that was until I got my paperwork. My sales lady didn't tell me about the $250 when she estimated the cost at the store before I paid for the measurement expert. She was $300 under. I felt like I wasted my time and their time by her lack of knowledge of this charge. Looking for a more affordable carpet layer. read more

After having a fire in my building on Christmas Eve and sustaining heavy smoke damage to my condo, I found myself needing a new carpet. A friend who is a retired professional in the carpet business recommended Great Floors. Brenda Mayer of Great Floors helped me choose the right carpet and pad for me and helped with all aspects of the transaction. She was very compassionate and understanding during a most difficult time for me. I would recommend Great Floors and Brenda to anyone and would have no hesitation in going there again I I needed their products. SadieH read more

We bought carpet and vinyl for our entire house last fall from Brenda, she was helpful, professional and extremely easy to work with. We love the flooring and the installers she set us up with. Even with a small problem or two during installation that were handled perfectly, the entire process was excellent from start to finish. read more

We were told our entire home would take 3 days to install. It took over a week. We made it a point to remove all of our furniture and appliances and put our dog in a kennel for 3 days so the contractors could get the job done without additional effort or delays. Turns out, measurements were incorrect (it happens) rooms were missed and material had to be re-ordered which created additional delays. I didn't have a problem with that as we all know things happen. After those corrections were made and the flooring was installed we did not receive a single phone call from either our sales person Joan or any of the managers to be sure we were happy and satisfied with the final product and installation. REALLY? We spent several thousand dollars at Great Floors and although that may not mean much to them (obviously not) it sure did to us. We expected more. Maybe a follow-up call in the flooring business is different than other retail business's but I doubt it. Referrals should be considered a big part of your business. I'm sorry I will not be able to recommend your store to my family and friends, BTW: The floors look GREAT!!! read more
