The second salesperson came out the next day and created the estimate, which the transit company approved. At $1599.35, I thought the estimate was ridiculously high. The work took less than 2 hours, so even subtracting the supplies and taxes, it cost over $700/hour! I should've gotten a new post, but they reused the old one. Some stainless steel brackets from the post went missing. The wire fencing to be reattached was done so poorly that it is now at a diagonal, and the workers pushed the dirt up to hide the gap between the fence and the ground! What really made me mad was that between this multimillion dollar transit company and this multimillion dollar fencing company, I was expected to foot the cost because one wouldn't pay in advance, and the other wouldn't extend credit without charging an extra 3% above the estimate...at MY expense! When the job was done, the salesperson didn't contact me about my satisfaction with the work, he called just to find out why I hadn't paid the remainder! I didn't pay it because I couldn't. Overall, the gate opens and closes again, and Rick's got their payment. I would not recommend Rick's for this type of project ever!

We had a deck, railing and some support beam installation. Quoted and paid $25K. The railing…read moredelivered was not what was quoted (quote was for more expensive material). Correct railing was received after we showed it was not the quoted material. Vendor promised to pick up the remaining work debris. After a couple of months, one of the cross deck boards sank about 1/2". We have called 4 times plus a visit to the office requested that the sag be fixed and remaining debris removed. Vendor has not returned our calls or attempted to honor the promises and guarantees we were given.

I had an appt for one of the employees/installer to come out and give me an estimate on Oct 13th between 12-1pm on a new deck and after waiting an hour and a half he did not show,so I wasted all that time waiting when I could have been running errands before I had a baby shower to go to and ran late for it because of him, and even left a voicemail at 1pm that if he was not here by 1:15 I would have to reschedule, of course I didnt get a return call because they are closed on Saturday! I did call back later and left a voicemail to let them know I would not be needing a call back to reschedule because I was going with another company and just very disappointed in them. If you cant show up for an estimate who's to say that you wouldnt show up for the install!!
