Great material, good bid, but some…read moreinstallation issues - the jibber-jabber crew paid more attention to the mariachi noise coming out of their boom box than the quality of their work. The ridge vent, which was not needed, was cut free-hand rather than striking a line to follow, consequently the opening was cut too wide in places, which meant the staples on some of the capping pieces didn't have anything but air to go into and so some didn't form to the roofline. On the bright side, when I called Palmers about this, it was immediately addressed with adhesive between the caps, but this shouldn't have been necessary, and the staples are still in nothing but air. Also, the crew removed some facia pieces and didn't replace them - I did. So, from my experience, I would say that Palmers is a good contractor but should train their crews better - just because something is out of sight doesn't mean it's not important to do a good and correct job.

He also checked a second gate and tightened the latch screws. Andrew recommended that the latches be replaced as they can come off again due to the wear and tear. He texted me pictures of latches that were similar to mine and said he would come back to put them on without charge.
