Food looks delicious!
Paul A.

Stopped in last night with my brother and had a couple delicious sandwiches and beers. Reuben Roast beef dip Pepperoni happy hour Frilly toothpicks to go, for the love of my life I'm glad this place is here and generally open when I want it to be. People who work here are great and the patrons have always been cool. The space is clean and has a large patio

Quick and short: Caprese sandwich: very good. Deviled eggs sandwich: ok. Service: wonderful. Parking: easy I'd go again.

Came at first for the sandwiches and definitely going to come back for the vibes and to try the drinks. They have a lot of sandwiches and I can tell that they're very proud of their restaurant. My friend and I got the flaming lips and the Reuben to share and they were both really good. Friend preferred the Reuben and I was split between the two! The workers were super friendly and attentive.

My 2nd time here and the Italian sandwich I order is always solid! The owner is welcoming and hospitable. It's a great refreshing place to stop by if you're in the area.

Not only does this place have amazing sandwiches with high quality ingredients (and a pretty extensive menu), but they have an incredible tap list of craft beer. This place is located in Anaheim's Center Street Promenade. There's street parking and a parking lot that is located behind the shop. I came here for an anniversary celebration, so the tap list may have featured special options, but if their regular rotating tap list is anything like their home brew equipment/ beer shop locations (which I've been to both), I am fully confident there's always a wonderful selection. The service/order style is fast casual where you order from the counter and they bring you the food when it is ready. The space itself isn't huge, but there seems to be plenty of seating inside and outside in a patio area. The vibe here is casual /chill. Since it was their anniversary, they had some special sandwiches available. Because I wanted to try some focaccia bread from Focaccia Boi, I got the 'Jalapeno Business' which featured bread from Focaccia Boi. Delicious. The bread was nice and soft with a slight crisp and solid enough to hold all the sandwich components. It also had a little heat, but not too spicy. For the beers I ordered - I got a heavily adjuncted stout from a brewery I love out of St. Louis (Side Project) and a double IPA out of another brewery I love out of Boston (Trillium). I thoroughly enjoyed my sandwich and beers. I absolutely would love to come back and try some more of their regular sandwich options as well as enjoy whatever craft beer selection they have at the time.

Pretty good sandwich! I find the devil made me sandwich a unique item as I don't see many places have deviled egg salad sandwiches. I wish I tasted more yolk in it! The sauce was kinda overpowering but still good! The guy taking our order was friendly and the inside was spacious. Would come back and try other items.

So happy we stopped by for an impromptu lunch! The Italian sandwich was loaded with meat, so good! The Reuben was also really good, pastrami super tender and flavorful. Loved they had options for kids like the grilled cheese and PB & J for my picky eaters. The potato salad was really flavorful. Service was great, answered all my questions. It was nice to be able to sit outside. Beer selection on tap was unexpected in the best way possible. They even had Russian River on tap! Place is casual, clean, easy parking in the lot.

Windsor Brown's has been a nice addition to the Center Street Promenade. It's a lunch staple for me since I love me a good sandwich. And they're not just good, they're mouthwatering! My absolute favorite is the Oklahoma Sunset. I like to get mine without the herb oil because I take mine to-go most days, so this prevents it from getting too soggy. The chicken cut is nice and thin and it pairs well with the pepperoni, avocado, cheese, and peppadew peppers. I also love their boring BLT. The bacon is cooked to perfection. The macaroni salad is also good, but I don't always get it because just the sandwich itself is very filling. If you're sharing with someone, I recommend the sides. Service is always stellar and quick. Sometimes I order ahead of time when I need to run back to the office quickly, but even when I order at the counter, my order comes out quickly. They take a little longer during lunch depending on if you get there during the lunch rush, but I've been after work, and they crank those sandwiches out fast! Eating in the patio is nice, but the seating with shade is limited. Inside has a chill vibe too. They're closed on Mondays, so don't make a visit on those days because it will break your heart.

How can you NOT rate WB's anything less than 5 stars? Service is always friendly, informative, and so inviting. The beer list is curated by some serious professionals in the industry (imported Belgian beers to crispy lagers, IPAs, and stouts). The food is always on point with rotating specials that make your usual go-to choice a hard one because everything is **that** good. The space is perfect since they have the corner spot of the building to also have an outdoor and dog friendly patio. Inside is a nice size and has a bar top to drink and dine at with 6 seats, usually occupied by regulars (why not become one yourself?). Cannot say enough great things! My husband and I find ourselves here almost weekly and we live about 25 miles away, if that tells you anything about how wonderful this spot is.

I forget the types of sandwiches we tried, because they rotate what they have, and I modified them, but they were amazing! Fresh ingredients and friendly service, I also liked that they had hard drink options, and a nice patio on a sunny day. Don't forget the potato salad, so good!

Great selection of brews and epic sandwiches, the Reuben sandwich is great and I'm not normally a Reuben sandwich person, (forgot to take the picture because it was so good) the brew selection was excellent and the owner is super nice and welcoming.

My whole family has been coming to Windsor Brown's for about a year. It is a 2 minute drive for us and the best sandwich spot in Orange County. Not only is the food amazing, but the service as well. Every time we are here, it is Greg catering to our every needs. Just last night we finally reached the level of "regular" status because Greg immediately knew I wanted a beer while I waited and knew exactly what type of style of beer I drink. That is customer service. That is remembering faces and orders. Thousands of people come through those doors and he remembers every single one of them. Love you guys.

Jammy Devil'd Egg Sandwich! Delicious!

Amazing service and guidance on their extensive sandwich choices. Cool vibe and music. Sandwiches are the best I have had in all of OC! Hands down. The selection is wide, the ingredients are top tier and the recipes are unique and delicious! Highly recommend the devil'd egg sandwich. A little spice and all amazing!

We arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening and we were bummed that it was packed full inside. We decided to go have a drink upstairs, and then come back down later to see if it was any less busy. There must have been one big group who left because 30 minutes later, it was completely empty inside. There are a few wood tables outside of the entrance and several two seat tables along the outside of the side of the train, but for a first visit we definitely wanted to be inside. When you come inside at BXCR, there are two long green couches along each side that wrap around to the entrance to maximize available space. There are two steamer trunks on each side that serve as tables. We were surprised that all of the tables had a Yahtzee game on them, and we had a blast playing that while we enjoyed our drinks. If you happen to roll a Yahtzee, they give you a candle as a prize. There is good background music playing that fits the environment. There is some good décor with overhead baggage racks and international clocks on one wall, and gauges on the wall next to the bar. There are some small rectangular windows along the top of both sides, and some curtained windows on the right side which do let a little light in. When the main entrance door is opened before its dark outside, it does let quite a bit of light in and kills the ambience temporarily. I would recommend coming closer to or after sunset to not let any outside sunlight interfere with your experience. The drinks are made at the bar in the rear where there are several seats and a little standing room. It wasn't on the current menu, but I saw on a previous menu they had an Amaretto Sour so I started with that, and it did not disappoint. It was nice and frothy from an egg white and had Angostura bitters on top. My girlfriend started with the Calm Cruise which was great. It's basically a Pina Colada, but with an additional honeydew flavor in the background. For number two, I tried the C-League cocktail. The smokiness of Mezcal has grown on me lately if it is not the primary flavor, and in this drink it is at a nice level somewhere in the middle. The cucumber and cilantro are definitely present, along with a little heat from the ancho verde and a little sweetness from the Luxardo maraschino. This is a excellent easy-drinking tequila cocktail. Her number two was the Aviation which she enjoyed. Vince was our main bartender along with Sarah. They were very friendly and fun to chit-chat with while they were mixing up our drinks. This is definitely a cool place to check out, and we will definitely return.

To our surprise, we were so thrilled to see Colony Wine Merchant had a good sized menu with various options to choose from: small bites, appetizers, entrees and dessert. We weren't too hungry so we opted for the daily sandwich of the day and their seasonal soup offering. Every bite from both items was enjoyed so much. The soup had the perfect consistency of creaminess followed by savory tomato flavor. It had some delicious (and I think) roasted potatoes, and the side of roasted sourdough with roasted tomatoes was perfection and really brought the dish together beautifully. The daily sandwich of the day was also fantastic! We remember biting into the sandwich and it melting in our mouth. The bread was beautifully crunchy and the meat with all its toppings inside couldn't have been any better. For our drinks, we opted to do a tasting of whites and reds. The wines were selected by our host (if I recall) and remember enjoying them all. It was fun to taste not only different varietals, but wines from different parts of the world. I was especially excited to see they had a really great selection of wine bottles to purchase in their wine shop. I happened to see one of my favorite ones there. We ended up purchasing a sparkling wine bottle at the end of our experience to have with our thanksgiving meal the following day. The service was A+. Every interaction from when we first walked in the door, being seated, being provided food recommendations, was a great experience. The ambiance is perfectly casual with a slight elevatedness to it. You don't have to wear a cocktail dress or tux to come here but it's definitely a perfect date night place or to come with friends and loved ones and enjoy a delicious meal followed by great wine. We were on a time crunch and wish we would have stayed to enjoy an actual entree but look forward to being back in town and visiting Colony Wine Merchant again.
