As the current homeowner, I owe you a review. Over a decade ago, my brother hired your company to install 14 windows in this house. Job well done, no problems. A few years ago, I noticed condensation on a window that faces the morning sun. Phonecalls were made, and it was concluded that there was a leak in the double pane glass. We were told the glass would have to be custom made, and then an installation crew would be scheduled. The whole process took about a month. The crew arrived, replaced the damaged glass, and problem solved. The installers explained the entire process. Their #1 tip: Always hire window contractors, never a general contractor. I just completed another job with Window Factory, this is the third one, and they have all been the best results! The prices have been very reasonable, and I like working with Sarah the scheduler and office manager. She is very pleasant and smart, and always answered the phone, which is a rarity in today's world! The installers were José and Gilberto, and they did a terrific job. We love our new door itself, but there's big downsides. Rather than ordering the door from a supplier and hiring someone to install the door separately, we chose to pay top dollar for one stop shopping. What a mistake! When finished, it was a mess. There is sloppy caulking all over our siding outside and also inside on freshly painted walls. The opening for the door was over cut when the old door was removed, leaving a gap between the wall and door, partially filled with caulking. Take a look at the filthy handprints inside and out. When our salesperson came over to see what was wrong, she said she didn't see any problems! Really? Now 2 months later with our first rainstorm, THE DOOR IS LEAKING!!! Lets see how they handle this. we replaced al our windows and sliding doors. I've waited 2 winters before writing this review everything that could go wrong with our project did. wrong window sizes, wrong opening portions sizes, wrong patterns on privacy glass, install alignment... HOWEVER, through all of it they were always easy to communicate with. we each stated our cases and resolved our problems in as good a way as you could wish. even though i think we were right, i dont think I'd want to deal with me. so points to them :) and lastly the product exceeds expectations. so thank you. and hopefully we'll see you at our next house read more

I own multiple properties. This was the ABSOLUTE BEST window experience I have ever had. From the first phone call to the estimator/measurement representation. Appointments were prompt, communication was stellar, and installation was beyond any expectation. The install crew is accurate, clean, exacting, and polite. 9 windows were installed on the house in a little under 4 hours by the crew of six. They were vacuuming and cleaning up before noon. For those curious, the windows are made in California (not imported) and fit exactly without a single compromise. Finally, let's talk about the price...I had presentations from company "A" that dominate the airwaves and mailboxes....the presentation was incredible and informative. The price was about $45,000. If I had signed before midnight I could have 9k off. Then another dog and pony show had the windows bid at 15k. I felt as if I was car shopping. The Window Factory priced the whole thing at 7200 bucks installed. And now that they have been in use for a couple of weeks I can assure you that I couldn't be happier. I had 2 doors installed by Window Factory during a huge rainstorm a few years ago. I asked them not to do it during the storm but they did. Both doors have leaked from the beginning. They finally reinstalled one door after the rug and surrounding area were a mess after 3 years. They told me that the other door was not causing the leak. It was something else despite several leak tests by me and others showing it was the door. They literally looked at it w hen they came to reinstall the other door. They did a few second observation with no tests and told me it was not the door. I hired contractors to come out and take the door out, fix the damage from the leak and reinstall the door. I usually do not write reviews, but I found this company the window factory and I read their story how the two ladies continued this company as a family business. I submitted a request through the web and the next day they follow up with me. We setup an appointment within 2 days. I received a follow up call the next day verifying my appointment time for the following day, we were all set. To my dismay I received a call 12 minutes before my appointment time indicating the factory window consulted could not make the appointment. We went to a home and garden show in Summer '12 and ran into Window Factory. There were about 3 associates there and one of them (Molly) said that she would come out to our home and discuss options. When Molly came over she was prepared with all her booklets, samples, and sales pitch. We really didn't consider it a sales pitch because talking with Molly was very comfortable and we were all so real with one another. We had 2-3 other window companies come by, but no one compared to our comfort level we had with Molly. It took us 6 months to decide to replace the window. by this time it was Winter and we were feeling the coldness in the house with our current single pane windows. Marcel came by to do the final measurements and 2 weeks later all the windows (entire home of 16 windows) were installed. It took them 1 full work day. When we got home to see the finished product, it totally made the house look brand new and gave it a modern character. We love it! It looks very clean (white trimmed) and it keeps the house warm now. The people that helped us were Molly and Marcello, and all the other workmen. They were all great and respectful of the home. Highly recommend this company. Great customer service. The sales rep was honest with meeting my needs and didn't try to upsell any expensive products. The installation was thorough- they protected my home during the installation and cleaned it so well after. During a really heavy rainstorm, I thought one of the new windows was leaking. I called the office and they sent someone out to look at it. Turns out it wasn't the window that was leaking, but the 2 man team spent over an hour helping me fix the problem and cleaned the window too when they were done! The Window Factory has been wonderful to work with. We started the process at the beginning of 2020 and then had to wait because of Shelter in place. We finally got the windows installed. We got French doors on our patio that are really beautiful and are so much better for keeping the house cool. The windows in the bedrooms and dining room are beautiful and so big! Rachel, the foreman, Jose, and Charlie in sales, have all been easy to work with and exhibit great customer service. Jose and his team came in and worked quickly to get the windows in. When they discovered that the windows didn't have headers they quickly pivoted and installed them. I am now just waiting for the drywall to be fixed and Jose will come back to install the sills. Molly was a huge help in the selection of a 10' slider in my condo. Besides offering an amazing product, she was already familiar with the HOA restrictions where I live and she worked with my association to get my design passed thru (read that: I didn't have to do a thing). The slider is incredible --- a hidden steel frame to prevent warping or twisting over time; the super effective door locking mechanism, the smooth rolling of the door, the easy clean glass, the double warranty (for my lifetime AND the next buyer's lifetime) and so much more... Installation was SO ORGANIZED! A team descended on my place and they got the slider plus 2 other windows done is a day. We want to say that we like the service of this company but in the end if this is what you get, then I feel a need to warn those who are looking into this company. We paid about $2300 for a brand new fiberglass pre-hung front door. First off, the paint on the door is so easily scratched, we had a ghastly mark within the first few weeks (we primarily use the front door for entrance to the home). We tried to use the touch up paint they gave us but it made it look even more horrible. We did not complain about the scratch because that was in essence our fault (the durability of paint their door manufacturer uses is another topic). After having this door for less than 15 months we notice it was harder to close. Then upon closer examination, it is scratching up our door frame, completely rubbing the paint and sanding the wood down. Texture on both the door and the frame are messed up. We tell them about it, and Jaclyn has Marcelo come right out, and he changes the bolt for the hinge for a longer bolt in order to secure it better. Now, no tilt of the door. Thank you for the service, but the door is still very awful looking. We write the company that we would like the door exchanged or fixed so that we do not see this and they say that because the manufacturer gives the same size bolts for all the pre-hung doors, it is not a defective door and the only option they give us is to give us touch up paint. If the bolt was too short and the door shifts because of that, thereby damaging the door, that is a technicality that neither the manufacturer or installer are taking responsibility for. However, we are stuck with an expensive door to replace. The reason we paid for these very expensive doors through this window/door company was for the piece of mind that we would get a quality product and these kind of mistakes would get rectified. Touch-up paint is not a reasonable solution for us. To tell us that the door shifted because of settling is also not acceptable (the house is 57 years old!). The Window Factory did an excellent job in replacing all the windows and a sliding glass door in my townhome. The old windows were 25 years old and the seals on the windows were cracked which caused condensation between the double pane glass. I got 3 quotes from different companies and found the Window Factory to be comparable in price. The workers showed up on time and did the job in one day. They were professional, friendly and am very pleased with the quality of their work. The new windows look better than my old windows did when they were new. It's cooler and quieter now in my home. The window factory team answered all my questions me and my wife ask before we decided to make this big purchase. They told us it was going to take 4 to 6 weeks before the windows can be finished. When the windows get closer to be finished they will call you to set up a 2 business days for the windows to be installed, because they can't install the windows in the rain. Had the strangest conversation when I called to get a bid on windows and doors. The woman immediatly starts telling me they don't service the windows I was asking about. I never asked about service, I asked if they carried the window and if they were in their showroom. Everyone at the Window Factory is great! After receiving several estimates for new windows, WF proved to beat everyone else's estimates and was the leader in customer service and kindness. Right when we were looking into getting new windows, my hubs and I found out that we were (and still are) expecting our first child, which led us to all kinds of apprehension and worry about how and whether or not to pay for house projects or save, etc. WF worked with us and we decided to split the job in half, completing 3 windows right away and finishing the job at a later date (once we've paid off the first job). Everyone was really nice and really professional. Rachel was awesome in answering all my annoying questions and ensuring that we got the best price and no interest financing. During delivery, the Anlin delivery guy (not WF) dropped our patio window, making a small crack in the corner and within hours a new window was on its way and a day or two later, Dominic was at our house, swapping out the patio doors. First my experience started with a pleasant lady who answered my phone call. She scheduled an appointment with their sales lady to come to my home. A very lovely lady named Monique showed up. She was very knowledgeable about their products. We walked through the home and she was able to give me an excellent price on the spot. The owner ordered the windows and applied for the permit. In two weeks a fabulous installer (and cute too!) named Marcello showed up with an excellent crew who literally installed all eight windows and the slider in 3 hours. Their crew kept the work site clean at all times and were very respectful. All in all we are thrilled with our new windows. We love The Window Factory service, employees and owners. Then I did my research and decided that for us Alin windows was our best choice. The Installation team came and replaced all the windows in 5 hrs. They moved all the furniture and removed and restarted the window coverings too. Couldn't be happier with our choice for the windows and for choosing Window Factory. We couldn't be happier with our choice of windows from Anlin or the wonderful people we had the opportunity to work with at Bay Area Window Factory. We first met Molly at the Alameda Fair Grounds Home and Garden Show in the fall of 2013. We received 5 estimates from various window companies and they had the best quality window for the price we were willing to pay. All of the other companies we had come out for estimates had cheap looking vinyl windows and screens. We paid a little extra for upgrades to the privacy glass and replacing a picture window with a double hung window, all worthwhile investments. The crew that came out on the day of installation was short two men, but they managed to have everything done by the end of the day. We replaced 14 windows and 1 sliding glass door. The only thing I wished we had discussed in more detail was the new trim around the sliding glass door as they had to notch it out to fit by the fireplace mantel and kitchen counter. While the trim looks nice, the notching out job isn't the best. We couldn't be happier with Molly, of all the people we talked to she made both my husband and me feel very comfortable with the whole process, procured the necessary permit, helped with the packet of information for the HOA, and met the building inspector at the end of the day to do the walk through. Window Factory is fabulous! Marlene, my sales rep, was professional and kind and never pushy. I had the obstacle of getting approval by my HOA for windows with white trim. Marlene helped me for weeks explaining and sending images of how the completed job would look. The install team was quick and professional. It's quite amazing to see their crew remove and install windows as it's almost like watching a factory line. After the install I was unhappy with a particular portion of the work, but Rachel worked diligently with me on figuring out a solution.
