Yep. Lubomir is his team are great. We had nine large windows upgraded to double pane, IG units and a new integrity door installed. In one section, the existing window frames were not plumb and we had some rot. This was no problem for Lubomir and he went the extra mile to rectify our issues, he could have easily just 'installed them' but instead he was kind enough to bring it to my attention, even though it was more work for him. Of all the gems I have found via Yelp, Delta Windows is probably the best so far. I got quotes from three other window companies. There was one other company that was slightly more competitive than Delta yet I sensed that I would get a better experience and greater satisfaction if I went with Delta after meeting Lubomir. Lubomir and his team replaced two 8-feet sliders and five windows in my home which had 1963 built aluminum frames. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the craftsmanship and windows. I never thought new windows could give me such joy. They are beautiful. It is a rare experience to hand a check over to a contractor for the finished work and feel somewhat sad that I'm not going to see them again because the experience was so great. After one miserable experience in the past for my house with the local Andersen Renewal franchise and after getting a quote on my current job that was some 30% higher than Delta's quote, and after reading his other reviews on Yelp, I selected Delta for my job. We had him replace almost every window in our home, including two oddly shaped 10' X 1' decorative windows, some 'retrofit' and some 'new construction-nail in' with new frames, and also install a new sliding door. Lubomir showed up exactly when he said he would for the initial consultation and we spoke at length and honestly about my needs, options, budget, concerns, etc. I completely felt at ease in that he was giving me sincere, knowlegeable answers. Not the case at all with the other two companies I've dealt with where it was obviously pure sales pitch. So after putting in the order for the windows, they were manufactured in about 3-4 weeks - basically what I was told and expected. Then for the installation portion, Lubomir showed up on day one with his assistant, as scheduled, and spent the rest of the week working daily until the job was complete. Both Lubomir and his assistant were helpful, respectful of my house, and very professional. Now the lower price could be due in part to a different brand of vinyl windows that Delta works with, VPI, but I'm sure it's also lower overhead and a leaner operation. The windows are beautiful and I felt like I got a good price and solid, masterful workmanship installing them. One small note - the price does not include any painting that is necessary when the work is complete but I think that is industry-standard. I had no problem painting the new frames and doing some wall touch-up. I believe that is typical. We are completely happy with our new windows and I would absolutely use Delta again and recommend Lubomir to any of my friends. read more
