Thankfully you can pull up to the hotel and temporarily park there but that can probably accommodate only about half a dozen cars so if it's a busy day, you might end having to lug all your stuff across the street from the garage. The hotel does validate parking which is nice. Breakfast is included which is nice. It does end at 9 AM on weekdays. I thought they had a nice selection of hot foods. There were eggs, bacon bits, sausage, pancakes. My husband went back for more pancakes. There was also hot oatmeal and toppings, not just those cheap instant oatmeal packets. My husband also enjoyed the coffee. Apart from the usual half and half for creamer, they also have oat milk. There was a nice selection of teas for tea drinkers like me. We had a room with a king bed which was fairly spacious. It had a mini fridge, a desk and chair and a sitting area. The drawback about the shower was at the shower "door" didn't actually extend the full length also water squashes everywhere after a shower. My husband also saw an enormous smushed cockroach near the lobby elevator. We arrived relatively late at night due to travel. I called to head to the hotel to let them know that we were going to be delayed and they said to call back if we were even more delayed to avoid being marked as no shows. I was a little taken aback as we had already paid for that night's day and I'd never heard of being marked by a hotel for being a no-show simply for arriving late in the evening. Overall we had a decent stay and would consider staying again. I'm just glad I wasn't the one who saw the smushed cockroach or when it was alive.

(The breakfast looked amazing but we can't get up that early.) Pamela and Krishna were exceptional front desk staff that made our stay enjoyable. Our room was large and clean with a great heating and cooling system. There was a problem with the bathroom: The inside door handle was broken. The shower was too small with a strange half-door that even if angled properly, still sent water to the floor. The water remained warm and never got hot. The fitness center isn't much and we passed on the pool and it's milky water. It really looked sickly. Sleeping was great but the major problems occurred on the morning of our departure. Check-out is at noon yet, even with our "do not disturb" sign out, a housekeeper knocked on the door at 10:30 AM while we were sleeping. I think she wanted to make sure we were up to check out on time because she didn't knock on anyone else's door. At checkout, there was no way for me to pick up my girlfriend because six vehicles blocked the small entrance/exit to the property. Even though there's a parking sign for 15 minutes, one SUV remained there for over a half-hour. We will give this property another shot because Hyatt's are usually a step above.

That was all very enjoyable. We have some specific needs so our not-so-great experience might have been fine in different circumstances. When traveling we need either two adjoining rooms or a suite with a door on the bedroom because one of us has extreme sensitivity to the sound of snoring (and of course the other of us snores). For that reason we chose the Hotel Bethlehem's Suites at 462, across the street from the main hotel. We got the smallest suite, which ran over $500 a night with fees and taxes. I mention the price because it was by far the most expensive hotel of our trip to Pennsylvania which naturally raises expectations, so my review is a little more critical than it might ordinarily be. First, the walls were paper thin. Not just in the suite but between suites. We could hear someone in the adjacent suite snoring loudly. The hotel provided a cot to use in the living room and the cot was truly horrible - all metal bars and lumpy springs. Neither of us got any sleep and we ended up getting an additional room at the Hyatt up the street so we could each sleep in a bed. At the prices they charge, surely a modern and comfortable mattress on the cot shouldn't be beyond the hotel's budget? As for my fussiness based on the room price - there were no amenities like shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. Only a small mirror over the bathroom sink, so dressing for something formal is guesswork. A really crappy coffee maker that only worked with weird packets of unpalatable coffee. Small things that were shabby or didn't work, like lights that flickered, office style drop ceiling panels that slammed loudly when opening the bedroom door. I was unimpressed and very unhappy that we needed to get a second hotel room just to get some sleep. They never asked how our stay was or I would have told them these things in person. I'm not inclined to stay here again, nor would I recommend the place, no matter how grand or historic the lobby is.

When there was about…read more1.5 hours left I contacted the property (along with general IHG customer care) because I noticed that my (2) double queen rooms had been updated and confirmed for (2) king rooms. Seeing as how we had 6 people and 2 elderly folks in our group, this was not going to work. -It took the remainder of the ride there which was in excess of 1.5 hours to gain no traction on getting back my double queen rooms. The stress and uncertainty of arriving in a town you've never been in with friends and family not knowing if you're going to have a place to stay is really a feeling I was not expecting to have when I confirmed my (2) double queen rooms when I booked. -I received zero communication or updates via the app, phone, email, etc for this MAJOR chance in my room reservation. All I had to go off of was email confirmation that noted that I had (2) double queen rooms. -When I arrived, half of my party came in with me and half stayed in the vehicle. When I approached the front desk, she explained to me that she was attempting to call people who had queen rooms to try and switch for me and that one had already confirmed a switch. So, at that point...I was "confirmed" for (1) Double Queen room and (1) King room. This was still impossible for me to do so I waited to make her other calls. In the meantime, I asked if they had another king room I could add and be comped to give me the 4 beds I needed. The other clerk scoffed and said no while citing that they were completely sold out. She had been rude the entire time so I tried not to speak with her. I explained that there was the ability to book a king room on the IHG site right then and there so there should be one available. She then explained to me that if I booked that non refundable room and paid for it, I would not have a room and I'd never see that money again. I decided to shut down and accept that I was not going to be treated fairly as a customer from that lady. After waiting for a while, we were notified that another person called back and was willing to switch us to the double queen room. SO, at this point after waiting around for over an hour on premises and trying to sort it out for over an hour on the ride to Bethlehem, we SUPPOSEDLY had what we ORIGINALLY booked months prior. -At this point there were alot of people in the lobby because we were not the only people having issues. The 2 front desk clerks were going back and forth with 2 of the cleaning staff during this time for another handful of minutes because they were saying all of the rooms were clean but the system wasn't showing it, etc etc. Eventually we got called back up and we were expecting to be checked in. HOWEVER, we were told that they actually had no double queen rooms at all and we were crap out of luck. -After this, I'm thoroughly embarrassed as the point man in my group. I have my name on this "guest of the day" board that is totally bullsh*t, and I'm being treated like an idiot. We have no place to stay but I have to keep my reservation because it's better than sleeping in our vehicle (which 2 of our elderly party members were doing at this point). I politely leave while asking them not to cancel my reservation. We proceed to drive around town for the next 2-3 hours in an attempt to find accommodations that will fit our group. After wasting gas, paying for parking at multiple spots, wasting time at multiple hotels BECAUSE hotels were booked. (hence why I booked my rooms so early)...we landed on a hotel that was able to accommodate us with 3 rooms at full, last minute, prices. I paid $500 more than I CONFIRMED AND BOOKED my candlewood rooms at but we had to do it, I had no other choice. -This ordeal started at 330 PM and I got booked into a room at 930 PM at a hotel I did not originally purchase because the Candlewood suites decided they didn't want to honor the reservation I book. It was a breach of contract, and I was not notified of any change. I was in contact with IHG customer service saying that IHG STRICTLY adheres to the terms of reservation and that I should contact you. I know what was being updated in the logs because that IHG person was telling me what was being put in my case number. The updates were false and I have record to prove that. In summary -I spent 6 hours of unplanned time trying to either RECTIFY my candlewood screw up that wasn't my fault, or running around town looking for a place for our party of 6 people to sleep. 2 of which were way too old to go through this crap. -I spent $500 extra of my money to book a different hotel that wasn't going to screw us over. This 500 does not include the gas and parking that I incurred looking for this. -We cancelled our dinner reservation because we prioritized our well being and where we were going to sleep. This was a $50 charge from the restaurant on the cancellation of last minute.

michaeljn2017 Shawangunk, United States 22 Pending review Not fair play. Pure Greed. Legit???? My wife and I have been staying and playing slots at Sands Bethlehem PA.for many years and have witnessed many staff changes over the years as well a decline in guest services and slot play. We came to Sands after being regulars at Trump Taj Mahal AC for better than 25 years and less at Mt. Airy, Yonkers, Monticello and many other casinos on and off. With the slow deterioration of the Taj Mahal and greedy Carl Icon who did not appticiate his employees or his steady patrons the end was inevitable and many people suffered. And so we became loyal to Sands. For a couple of years the Sands provided great services and fair play on the floor. About two years ago it was noticed the rapid decline of fair slot play, a reduction in guest services and once again staff turnovers. Our host was always doing her job by providing services to her guests as well as bringing in the whales. Two years ago after a good run, we noticed a rapid decline in slot payouts and a pull back in guest comps. This was indicative of sos with all other casinos. In the last two years playing almost Exclusively at Sands in the high limit slot room, I can honestly say with a ton of money spent on the slots absolutely no returns on payouts. Zero. Casino is on the take and they make it obvious. As one reviewer stated they should be looked into but apparently the fix is in with the State Gaming Commission. With our experience in casino slot play it is inconceivable that the amount of money played by guests and the return of zero equals fair play. The final straw for my negative review was this past Saturday nights one night stay. Upon awakening Sunday morning and going downstairs for our usual cup of coffee for what once was a comp continental breakfast for guests was no more. Low Class!!!!!. COD baby. Dumped one thousand dollars Saturday night with no return and not even a cup of coffee and put you on the curb. My wife and I immediately went to the Players desk placed our players cards in an envelope handed it to a supervisor to forward to our host with our the reason for our disgust and will never ( underscore) return to the Sands Casino. We absolutely do not recommend anyone attend this venue in light of what appears to be another dropout casino with a policy of take the money and run. PURE GREED!!!!! Sure to get a lot of lip service from greedy administration on this review. read more

Checking into the hotel and being disappointed was just a precursor to the insult and injury that would follow. I booked a KING SIZE SMOKING Permitted room in advance, upon arrival I was told that I could NOT have my room and instead was given a NON SMOKING ROOM!!!!! HUGE DISAPOINTMENT. Once I was inside of my room I noticed a shower cap was not supplied like other hotel rooms in other resorts would offer, there was a lack of a bathrobe or slippers, to top it off there was absolutely NO BLANKET WHATSOEVER on the bed. That night I was in pain with my arm and was too tired to deal with any of that, my fiancé and I were upset about the lack of a blanket on the bed and decided to never stay there again, we just set the thermostat on high and went to sleep. The next day at the casino MY FIANCE GOT A TRAY OF DRINKS SPILLED ON him by a cocktail waitress, and afterward she SCREAMED at him and took it out on him! I was wondering if she was tripping on something or sick and confused, turns out she was just really rude and maybe on drugs or something!!!! We took it up with the manager of the cocktail waitresses and she was helpful at the time, but never called my fiancé back like she promised she would. To make matters EVEN WORSE as we were walking to a table to gamble a Female PIT BOSS came up TO MY FIANCE AND SAID " OH YOUR THE GUY WHO KNOCKED OVER THE COCKTAIL WAITRESS. The nerve of her, I told her "no actually the waitress tripped and spilled drinks on my fiancé as he was walking in front on her ." Her response was oh I thought he was getting up from the table and it happened. I told her " NO we were never at the table when it happened!!!!" I should not have been so nice to either of these women and should have embarrassed them for being so stupid!!!!!!! The RUDE Harassment we faced was deplorable, we were telling my fiancé's friends the story and they were absolutely disgusted. This is not the way to treat guests of the HOTEL OR THE CASINO. We spent money there like everyone else and got treated like dirt. Perhaps it was the profiling of my fiancé who has tattoos or maybe because there is terrible treatment of many customers, but I have never come across such terrible treatment before by employees anywhere!!!!!! Don't go here if you want to be treated decently. I will stick to Atlantic City or any other Casino but here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UNFORGIVABLE!!!!! read more

WARNING BEWARE OF THEFT...now Wind Creek Casino. MY HUSBAND & I ARE VICTIMS OF THEFT. They allow bus loads of Chinese immigrants to roam the casino floors, scouting for victims for theft. It's obvious after speaking with Security AND customers. *SECURITY just an employee in a uniform. There are more of them than security. After speaking with security, security is outnumbered and can't do anything about them? WHAT ARE THEY AFRAID OF? Mt. Airy banned buses. A few manage to use a slot machine for days, changing players to occupy the machine and they are not adding money to the machine, they laugh at the security KNOWING there is NOTHING they can do about them. They are openly stealing from the casino. Security tells me they are trying to figure out how they do it? Is that fair to those that are adding money? Look around you, you are surrounded by them strolling around looking for victims. We were told the casino is working on it NOT GOOD ENOUGH WIND CREEK. YOU JUST INHERITED THIS PROBLEM. What are you going to do about it to keep your PAYING CUSTOMERS SAFE? The casinos are not like the commercials you see on t.v. MOSTLY seniors are supporting their business and deserve to be protected against theft. They bring their own food, monopolize tables for PAYING customers. THEY HAVE BACKPACKS, WHICH SHOULD BE BANNED. We don't feel safe and are considering going to the t.v. media to express our concern for the safety of people. They are known to stay for days, sleeping on outside property OR somewhere in the casino itself. Don't tell me there is NOTHING they can do about it. BAN THE BUSES. NOT TO FORGET THEY kill ducks and bring them on the buses with them, they spit on the floor, wash their feet in the toilet water EVEN worse, I won't gross you out with. The casino employees know and they are talking about it, we got an earful from employees. Security presence has increased BUT they can't do anything about them because they are protected, NOT THE PAYING GUESTS, THEY ALLOW US TO BE VICTIMS. If this happens ONE MORE TIME to us, we will call the police and not deal with the casino security and file a legal complaint against the casino. Apparently the casino is AFFRAID to do anything about them, there is a reason and I won't put it in print. read more

** THE HIDDEN TRUTH BEHIND THE CASINOS BIGGEST PROBLEM ** Transbridge bus lines offers $40 in freeplay and $5 food comp for a $20 bus ticket. SO, what happens is Head Asians in NYC find all the lowlifes with no money and nothing better to do and buy their ticket to Sands from NYC and in exchange, when arriving at the casino, they have to give their $40 comp to the Head Asian riding with them.....so now these Asians have nothing to do for the 8 hours until the bus leaves but wander around, be annoying and steal stuff. The Head Asians dont care who they recruit, they will take anyone, dirty, stinky, whatever, because each person they bring doubles their investment ($20 ticket = $40 in freeplay) so If 10 people go they get their bus money back AND $200 in free gambling comps to wager.. Its like human trafficking, Sands pays these Asian recruiters $20 a person to have them show up whether they gamble or not. Hey, if Im homeless or have the chance to go somewhere warm, thats different that sitting on the curb, with free food and water (VIP lounge), Id prob go too. This of course leads to the problem you hear about frequently - all the rude Asians that come in from NY. They are vulgar, spit in the trash cans, stand behind you at the tables breathing down your neck, argue right behind you and steal anything they can get their hands on. I saw one Asian stopped by security, had her backpack checked and it was filled with toilet paper rolls, napkins, straws, sugar packs etc. They will walk into the VIP room and fill 2 plates of food, ask for 2 red bulls and 2 waters, put them in their bags and leave, of course not tipping. The Sands has turned into a free daycare center for Asian degenerates, so sad. Oh well, this country has turned to entitlements anyways so I guess the Asians are entitled to abuse the comp system too. read more

I love going to the Molten Lounge to see live music. However, this time was different, I was there with my best friend to celebrate our birthdays and to support our friend's band, who was performing. My friend was swaying to the music right outside the lounge while we were talking with some people. She was targeted by a security guard and told that she was "intoxicated" (while she was completely sober having less than two drinks in a few hours). She had done nothing wrong, but have a good time. She was not being loud or obnoxious and not making a scene (like some other people who were in the club) and there were no prior warnings to slow down (again, she had less than two beers so why would she?) She was just accused of having a good time and swaying to the music while we were catching up with friends. I'm very disappointed for how it was handled, especially because she felt like she was being profiled by the security guard (who was abusing her authority.) The guard never gave a reason why my friend had looked intoxicated, she was just told to leave. What if she really was "intoxicated" and she was driving by herself? Is that safe to send a drunk patron out on the road? Very poor decisions by your security guards. Unfortunately, because of this incident my friend feels she can't come back for fear of being accused of simply having a good time. If possible, is there a way to make this right? It's unfair (and embarrassing) to be asked to leave without a valid reason except for "my decision is final". We lost time together (as we were celebrating our birthdays), as well as precious time with our friend's band that we don't get very often. read more

A group of stupid Indians bought this casino known as Sands Casino. First, I would like to say that Sands management succeeded in taking business from Atlantic City, which led to the bankruptcy of some casinos there. But when the Wind Creek Company managed this casino, they brought the business back to Atlantic City for many reasons, including: First, the winners are always the Asians, which made many of the casino's patrons leave for other places. Second, some administrators dominated the customers, for example. The old woman known as Marcy, or the administrator who conducts violations for the Parking Authority in Bethlehem, or the so-called Francis, who established suspicious personal relationships with some girls, as leaked in the city.. Third.. You cannot get a bonus on any machine that you play on whatever you do. You only feed the machine your money, and when you ask the gaming commission, it tells you that you have to spin the machine fifty million times to get a bonus.. Is this true? This casino is a hotbed of corruption and theft, and this company known as Wind Creek is nothing but a money-stealing gang, as there is no difference between them and bank robbers. In addition, the casino is dirty and there is no one to clean it. Cockroaches even come out of the machines. As for the bathrooms, they are also dirty. There is no one to clean them. He cleans it up after all. I say don't go to this casino because you will be donating your money to Asians read more

I had a very concerning experience with security at Wind Creek. While I was in a public area waiting for my mother, I noticed a situation where multiple security personnel and officers were surrounding a young woman who appeared to be alone and visibly distressed. From where I was standing, I simply observed what was happening. One of the security guards saw me watching and reacted in a way that was completely unprofessional. He approached me aggressively and began speaking to me in a hostile and confrontational manner. I calmly explained that I was just waiting for my mother, but he escalated the situation further by calling another security guard over. At that point, both individuals were verbally aggressive and made me feel threatened. This interaction was intimidating and unnecessary. I felt genuinely unsafe, as the tone and behavior of the guards suggested the situation could have become physical. No one should feel threatened for simply being present in a public space. When my mother arrived, she also questioned their behavior, as it was clearly inappropriate. Security personnel should be trained to de-escalate situations, not create new ones. This experience left me shaken and disappointed in how the situation was handled. I hope management takes this seriously and ensures better training. read more

Wind Creek Bethlehem is a stunning modern hotel that offers a striking contrast to the dilapidated charm of the nearby SteelStacks and surrounding buildings. We started our experience off with a convenient and easy valet vehicle drop-off. The hotel lobby is beautifully designed, with a clean, bright, and welcoming atmosphere. We recently attended an event in the main ballroom, which was a truly memorable experience. The cocktail hour featured a wide array of alcoholic drinks and hors d'oeuvres, complemented by an impressive ice sculpture that added a touch of elegance. The dinner service was exceptional, beginning with a fresh and delicious salad. The main course featured a phenomenal steak and a perfectly stuffed crab cake, accompanied by roasted carrots and asparagus, all cooked to perfection. To top off the evening, we were treated to an assortment of delightful dessert pastries and chocolates. The night continued with lively dancing, thanks to the fantastic Renaissance Orchestra, making it a fun and enjoyable experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially in such a large facility. Overall, Wind Creek Bethlehem exceeded all expectations, providing an excellent venue, superb food, and outstanding entertainment. read more

So a couple of my friends and I go to the Sands for a birthday. We were looking around for tables to sit at and gamble. While walking around and scoping out the tables and players, I was smoking a cigarette. Eventually it was time to put it out and I reached for an ash tray. I was immediately stopped by some old guy and started harassing me and telling me it was a non smoking area. Funny right? ASH TRAY IN A NON SMOKING AREA. And that isn't even the worst part, he stopped me instead of the 50 other people smoking around us in and out of non or smoking area. Well I apologized and said "I just want to put out my cigarette". BUT NOPE SANDS DGAF about you, or was it because I'm young and Asian. Doesn't matter because that guy is a racist. So afterwards he came back and started telling me to "go home" and "If I'm gonna be trouble he'll have me detained". ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? I could be a dick and just put out my cigarette on the carpet, but no I was trying to be respectful and put it out in the ash tray. But in return THIS IS HOW SANDS DOES THINGS. read more

Was at the "Grand Opening" at Wind Creek on Sat Oct 12. Long lines for new player cards since their so called card printing stations were a bust. There were many machines out of order, which is unacceptable for a grand opening. Everything should have been ready to go. Also, the NY Asian bus problem continues. My wife was playing on a machine, turned around for a few seconds, and an Asian tried to steal her money from the machine. I had to chase her away. This behavior is uncomfortable, unlawful, unacceptable, and unnecessary. Wind Creek wants to have a comfortable, exciting atmosphere. It doesn't exist now with these people exhibiting criminal behavior like this. Also, the rudeness, spitting in garbage cans, stealing tickets from machines, sleeping at machines, hogging the tables in the food court, has to end. Enough already. Sands didn't care. All they cared about was the money. Now Wind Creek needs to do the right thing and have a nice, safe, clean place to play for us all. End these buses from NY! read more

As someone who lives near and frequently visits Atlantic City, I can confidently say that Wind Creek Casino and Hotel has set a new standard for excellence. The cleanliness of the property is immediately noticeable--everything from the casino floor to the hotel rooms feels meticulously maintained and inviting. The staff truly stand out with their professionalism and politeness. Every interaction, whether with dealers, hotel staff, or servers, is warm and accommodating, which adds to the overall luxury of the experience. While Atlantic City has its charm, Wind Creek simply outperforms it on every level. The atmosphere feels more refined, the amenities more thoughtfully curated, and the overall experience significantly more enjoyable. If you're looking for a top-tier gaming and hospitality experience, Wind Creek is in a league of its own. Highly recommended! read more

If you want to gamble with people wasting your money via their welfare/unemployment checks than this is your casino. I went there for my first and last time last night and mind as well played dice with the bums on the streets of NYC. There was literally a one fingered dice roller, with a bloody tissue, wearing sweatpants, at the craps table that looked like he just climbed out of a cardboard box. There were plenty of people wearing Carhart jackets, flannel, and work boots on a Saturday night - they finished construction 2 years ago send the crews home already. The toothless dealers needed calculators to pay out on the craps tables. If you want to climb into a cigarette, with a bunch of fat toothless rednecks, and really experience Pennsyltucky than come on down to the Sands. read more

This was the worst experience of my life. Went here to the casino and the people who frequent here are so ghetto and disrespectful. cigarettes at the roulette table and the dealers are rude. I was trying to play and was pushing my way in and nobody made room for me to place my chips. Once I decided to just go for it the dealer told me I couldnt reach but everyone else was reaching and pushing and shoving. Everything we did was wrong in her eyes. I have played roulette at many other casinos and I have never seen that much disrespect from both players and dealer. she gave me so much anxiety that I ended up not even playing and just telling her to cash me out and took my money back in full. DO NOT RECOMMEND read more

Was feeling lucky so I went here after dinner at a local restaurant. Ended up not so lucky. But casinos weren't built on the backs of winners. Anyway, the casino has a charming industrial feel. Looks like they used elements from the old steel mill that existed here. Nice touch. My gripes are these: (1) Wow, too much smoke permeating through the casino floor! Get a better ventilation system. (2) Where's the big jackpots like in AC? The biggest one I saw was $100,000 at the high roller slots. Haven't eaten here yet so can't comment on the food. Looks like a good restaurant selection though. Aside from the aforementioned, I had a decent time losing my money. read more

The casino is half non-smoking but that doesn't matter. By the end of your visit you'll end up smelling like you were sucking on a cigar all night too- no matter where you were. The drink girls were attentive and kind on bringing out the complimentary drinks (even alcohol ones). That was a great thing especially since most people looked depressed and angry since none of these machines seem to pay. I've been to many casinos and have never thought myself lucky to win a whole $2.30! Woohoo. Even on a bad day. It seems they're attempting to make it more attractive by adding more stores & a buffet but I doubt that'll be enough for me to come back. read more

I live close by and have lost thousands over the years and after losing 200 dollars last night without a single bonus on the slot machines i have had it with this place!!!! have frequented sands a lot thinking i could win money back but never do.No payouts at all!!! I know a worker and the machines are rigged and dont payout what government requires!! It is an evil place and probably has ruined a lot of peoples live! Place should be shutdown for good. We went to the Sands tonight as a date, my husband and I. This was the first time I have been here, and while I am not a huge gambler, this casino wasn't bad. There is parking nearby, it is well lit, it's pretty flashy inside with plenty to do! Drinks were a little pricey, as was Emeril's where we had dinner. I managed to win $30 on the slots, but the hubby didn't win anything haha. I guess my main complaint would be the smoking. We could smell the smoke sticking to our clothes long after we left, yuck! We do not smoke, so this was a pretty big negative for us. May not have been the best, but it was something different to try. read more

Proves money talks. How is nobody bringing up the fact that they bus in some of the most unsanitary people from NY during the coronavirus outbreak in this country? They are the most disgusting people I've seen. They eat at the machines, blow their noses on the floor, pick through the garbage. There is no way in hell that someone with the coronavirus hasn't been in that casino via one of those buses. I'll never go back and I spent a lot of time and money.... https://www.mcall.com/coronavirus/mc-biz-wind-creek-bethlehem-employee-tests-positive-coronavirus-20200319-obnlepjvebfxrdc4n7vmblz5be-story.html read more

The hotel staff, including the valets, are wonderful, engaging, and helpful people. Same with the bartenders and kitchen staff. Everyone's fantastic. Special recognition for LeeMarilyn at check-in, Laurie at the bar, and the phenomenal Miguel who is one exceptional valet. Art abounds, in every nook and cranny with sweeping themes from animals to the circus to fortune telling and to an array of warm colors. Even in our excellent, spotless room, which was above the "Moxy" sign, the cool themes carried over. We had floor to ceiling windows, which welcomed in the city. The queen size bed was by far the most comfortable bed I have slept in at a hotel and we have traveled much over the years. The outstanding shower easily accommodates two adults. Since this is a boutique hotel, the rooms may be smaller, but that only added to the comfort level. We actually enjoyed not having the run-of-the-mill microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker because this is not that kind of property. Every corner of the hotel is fun and engaging. To be completely sincere, if my girlfriend and I could by an apartment at the Moxy, we'd do so immediately. We plan on returning sooner to stay a bit longer.

One of my favorite touches was the collection of autographed photos throughout the entrance area, showcasing the many artists, musicians, and notable guests who have stayed here over the years. The location couldn't be better. Situated right on Broadway, you're within walking distance of all the shops, restaurants, galleries, and attractions that make Jim Thorpe such a special destination. We spent hours exploring the town and loved being able to return to the inn whenever we wanted to relax. Our room was comfortable, spacious, and tastefully decorated. It featured a cozy queen-size bed, two cushioned lounge chairs perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing, and a large swivel-mounted TV with streaming capabilities. The room had a warm and inviting feel that fit perfectly with the historic atmosphere of the inn. The staff truly made our stay memorable. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to help. They provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and attractions and even supplied a handy map of Broadway highlighting all the shops and points of interest. If you're planning a visit to Jim Thorpe, I highly recommend staying here. Just fresh and neutral. The bed and dressings were very comfortable. There is very little noise from inside the hotel such as the hallway or adjoining rooms. I assume its due to solid walls and the way it was built back in the day. There is noticable street noise such as loud stereos and exhausts but its not a hotel issue and wasn't horrible. Weekends might be a bit louder. But, again, not the hotels fault Self parking was easy at the city garage a short walk down the street. Perfect location downtown. Luckily, I was able to nab one of the closest parking spots to the front entrance after looping around the building. My initial thought was that it was very quiet. Perhaps I was on a floor by myself, but I didn't hear or see anyone else on my floor during my one-night stay. I really loved my room. It was contemporary-styled and comfortable with plenty of light fixtures and a floor to ceiling window. I especially liked the light over the sofa because it automatically turned off, and turned back on after it detected motion. The bed was also comfortable and soft with high quality foam pillows. There was a QR code by the bed, and when directed to the website contained a list of information and hotel policies. One of those policies was in regard to delivery orders. Deliveries cannot be left at the front desk or taken to your room by the driver/carrier. They must be picked up in the lobby, which was fairly simple to follow. After check-out I had left clothes in the closet and didn't realize until hours later. I called the front desk and was able to coordinate picking them up after housekeeping checked the room for my items and collected them. I really appreciate Amanda's promptness and level of customer service whilst assisting me over the phone. My only dissatisfaction was that I didn't receive hand soap in the bathroom, but otherwise it was a much needed and unrealized change from Marriott.
