We also tried the chocolate pistachio croissant which was also super messy and leaked everywhere on the warm day. The staff was friendly enough and there is plenty of outside seating.

I'd come back when I'm in the area again.

The donuts here are sweet, soft, moist, and substantial. The variety of donuts is also vast. All of which are made in-house and of high quality. The customer service was efficient and friendly. The inside of the shop is large enough to meet the demands of the morning rush, with a few tables available for diners. There is merch available for purchase and a loyalty program for customers purchasing donuts by the dozen (they have punch cards). Overall, a great experience and I'll visit again when in the Lakewood area.

And you're not going to find Maple Bacon or Cap'n Crunch. Just your traditional cake and raised donuts. But they do them right. Not too rich. Not too sweet. There's room to sit and enjoy a coffee and a donut. And you're helping out local business. I definitely recommend it.
