While he went to get me a chair since the process is long to get payment delivery instructions etc a black guy that kept butting into his help took over completely. That was fine. What wasnt was how rude he was. I asked 2 times about the warranty. He ignored me completely the first time. So I thought maybe he just did not hear me and I mentioned it again. He looked up at the ceiling and rolled his eyes. I said nothing but was starting to be pissed over his rude actions. Next as he is figuring up the bill he added a water connector which I told him 2 times I was not hooking up to water. He said I would have to pay for the connector anyway and I could bring it back after I got the fridge installed and they left the part. I told him for the 3rd time that it indeed was not going to be hooked to water and why could he not adjust it off the bill. He did not answer me. Now the white guy comes back and the black guy walks off. I told him about the water connector charge and he said that it was odd it would not let him remove it after the other guy had been in the charges. So now I have to take the part back and make a trip back to Lowes that I would not have to do. OK TODAY I return the part back to Lowes. It is clearly showing on the website free haul away which is 50.00 I printed that off and took with me when I went back to return part. The girl refused to take that charge off because she said when I ordered the fridge a week earlier it was not offered. When I asked her about the price match they advertise she shrugged her shoulders. I will not be going back to Wilmington Lowes unless it is a dire emergency that I have to. Plus if I was an employer I would not have that one guy in my store as an employee. It has nothing to do with race creed or anything else that someone may say is the reason it has to do with how he treats people and that is what he does not do treats people nice. After spending 5k on a fridge you at least expect some sort of courtesy.

I had them take it back and was told I needed to go into the store to get my refund. I went into the store and got the run around and was told I had to contact Menards.com, so I did. Below was an email I received from Menards.com telling me the store should've handled this. I did finally get my refund, but it was minus $162. I will never shop at Menards again. Lowe's and Home Depot have way better customer service and actually give you ALL of your money back on a return.

Keep in mind all of those associates individually confirmed the SKU #s of the items I was purchasing lined up with deal. Mike told me "it's an online only deal" and walked away. He offered to comp about half of the item that was supposed to be free. I left and found the deal in "store mode" on the Home Depot app and called Mike back over to show him that the deal is available in store as well. He told me to "take it up with corporate". He also told me to order online and wait for the order to process for 15 minutes. You'd think if I can stand in the store and order the deal online, he could use his mighty manager powers to honor the deal in store as well. He chose not to. In total wasted over an hour of my time and was offered no acceptable solution. Thanks Mike! Won't be coming back.
