From our first contact with Jason (sales) to the final inspection with Erik (Production Manager) the entire project and finished product is EXCELLENT. Jason LISTENED to everything we desired for our new kitchen and submitted a design and proposal that, after a few minor tweeks, met our requirements and budget. Jason and Erik visited our home, reviewed the drawings, made some suggestions, and set an approximate start date. When working with a contractor communication is a primary requirement. We were constantly updated on start dates, daily and weekly planning, daily progress, and any minor delays. Any questions we had were responded to with specific answers, not generalities. Prior to the project commencing, Erik introduced us to David (project manager) who informed us of the procedures and the temporary inconveniences we would be experiencing. The renovation began on schedule. David coordinated the entire project with his team, John and Dan (plumbers), Vern (electrician), Fred (painters), and Max (delivery and cleanup), all who did everything to make this process as unimposing as possible. As each day concluded, the area was cleared and cleaned. We now have a beautiful new kitchen. Kitchens By Design's staff and attention to detail are a hallmark for other companies to emulate.

Whirlpool Washing Machine Model WTW4957PW0:…read more I have bought several appliances in the past without issue including a dishwasher, refrigerator and even a bed! On Saturday, a Whirlpool washer was delivered. On Monday, after attempting to start a load of laundry I noticed the water level was not sufficient; even while set for 'deep water'. I called the store and spoke with Melissa who is the store manager. She said I would receive a call to address the issue and to let her know if it couldn't be fixed; it would be replaced. The service people called twice. Each time; they advised it was a probably a water pressure issue. I advised that the last washer did not have this problem and the washer was installed by Appliance Factory. The representative advised that if it was a water pressure issue; I would be charged $120 for a service fee; let alone parts and labor. I called the store and spoke to a man. He advised the only way to get it repaired without cost would be to go through the manufacturer, Whirlpool. Be aware that even if an appliance is delivered less than 3 days prior to an issue arising; you may have to deal directly with the manufacturer for resolution instead of Appliance Factory. I admit to being naive after having had no prior issues and having developed a trust in Appliance Factory. I will not purchase any future appliances from Appliance Factory. ============ 10/7/25, Tuesday: I called Whirlpool. The representative was kind, but unfamiliar with the washer and was reading from a script. I described the problem and was told that I may have to take 'bulky' items to the laundromat. The representative offered for a service technician to come out, but was advised that if the washer was found to be functioning normally; I would be charged a fee. I might not understand how to fully operate this washer or how it works. I do understand that the service I received was always offered with the 'risk' of being charged a fee by both the Appliance Factory and Whirlpool. ============ 10/7/25, Tuesday: Today's Wash. Low water level again. ============ 10/8/25, Wednesday: Phone call from their representative. Again; the offer was made to send out a technician......with expectation of a fee if they found the issue to be related to water pressure.
