We have been shopping with Meijer's for years wherever we find them. Sadly, we don't have one near…read moreus. But this one is near my daughter's house who we drive up to see a few times a year. IF I'm staying with our daughter for a week we will hit this Meijer at least three times and we load up my pickup and bring things home we can't find anywhere else. Ok, a great bakery, good deli, large produce with a larger than normal organic section, far more and better groceries than a Super Walmart too. All the sisal stuff you expect and then more. If you combined the best of Target and your favorite grocery store, Walmart prices, and better trained staff than any of them all rolled together you'd have this Meijer's.

On 5/25, after contacting them several times and being told they had no idea where in the process our order was, we contacted Bassett directly and were told 1) our order was not even placed until 3/30 and 2) our order was not even in production yet. We were assured by Shauna at that time that if we did not cancel the order with them that we would have it in June. On 6/28, my husband went to the store and was told, again by Shauna, that they did not have the order but they could surely have it in July. Also, that they are moving, which was evident by the appearance of the showroom, but couldn't give out a forwarding address yet. He asked then that the order be cancelled and we be given a full refund. We will see if this company has any integrity, and returns our money after this debacle.

I had every intent of buying a set of table lamps today, but no one even approached me. One thing is for sure no one will get Covid-19 at this store.
