This food truck generously came into a flooded neighborhood and passed out hot meals, which were delicious! The chicken wings were great.

Our food was not very good. I think my meal was 90% green beans and the rest was mostly stale rice. We won't go back

One of the employees at the Perry Lane Hotel recommended Crab Du Jour, and I'm glad they did! My wife and I arrived and immediately noticed the lively atmosphere. As soon as we walked through the door, karaoke night was in full swing. There was a DJ, several talented performers, and a crowd that was enjoying themselves. The entertainment was classy, fun, and added a special touch to our dining experience. For dinner, I ordered Dungeness crab legs with corn and additional sides, all covered in their mild Cajun sauce. The food was fresh, flavorful, and very satisfying. The seasoning was just right--enough flavor to enjoy without overpowering the natural taste of the seafood. My wife ordered corn and vegetables and thoroughly enjoyed her meal as well. Everything was prepared well and served hot and fresh. Our waitress provided excellent service throughout the evening. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Between the great food, outstanding service, and enjoyable entertainment, Crab Du Jour became one of the highlights of our Savannah trip. If you're looking for good seafood, a fun atmosphere, and excellent customer service, I highly recommend Crab Du Jour in Savannah. I gladly give them 5 out of 5 stars for food, entertainment, and service. They helped make our anniversary trip even more memorable!

The service was a bit slow but we weren't in a rush to go anywhere so we looked at the sea decor and enjoyed the music. We got the lunch special with 3/4 lb head-off shrimp ($11.99) and 3/4 lb green mussels ($9.50) with Cajun seasoning. The waitress put it in two separate orders/platters for us so we could get more corn and potatoes! I'm no seafood boil connoisseur, but I thought it was a pretty good deal and overall a decent restaurant.

The inside was surprisingly quiet, with most tables empty when we stopped by at 7pm on a Tuesday night. We ordered the Combo B with shrimp and crab legs (mild seasoning + garlic butter), along with a fried lobster tail and sweet potato fries. The bag of boiled seafood was definitely the star of the show. The shrimp tasted fresh and flavorful--not fishy at all--and the garlic butter seasoning was delicious. Cracking open the crab legs was a new experience for us and honestly kind of fun. There's something about working for each bite that turns dinner into an activity. We also tried the fried lobster tail. Unfortunately, the batter tasted almost burnt and overpowered the natural sweetness of the lobster meat. In retrospect, I would have ordered it boiled instead. The sweet potato fries were limp rather than crispy, which was disappointing. That said, the overall seafood boil experience really saved the meal. Our server was friendly and kind, especially since this was our first time at a seafood boil restaurant. She checked on us several times without being intrusive and helped us navigate the whole bibs-and-gloves situation. What our family loved most was the communal aspect--everyone digging into the same bag, cracking shells, passing pieces around. It felt interactive and different from just eating individual plates ordered off a menu. Would we go back? Yeah, probably--especially with grandparents or for a fun, hands-on dinner night out.

So you're supposed to wait to be seated (to get a table number), then go up and order and they bring your food to your table. When I arrived, there was nobody at the maitre'd stand so I just got in line like the other two parties ahead of me. I quickly figured things out and made my order of the fried Fish and Shrimp platter with cajun fries. I just came from the gym so I was pretty hungry. The food came out piping hot and it was simply delicious. The food was fried/cooked perfectly with no excess oil. Portion wise, I feel that I got good value for my money. There were so many things on the menu that I wanted to try but I guess I'll have to visit again!

The vibe was very cool. The nets on the ceilings, the murals, the subway tile...I really liked it. It was pretty empty when we go there so our party of 7 was seated right away. We were given menus and told to go up to the front to order. Hawk took our order and they were super awesome. Very knowledgable and helpful. I got an oyster po boy with sweet potato fries, my mom and aunt got shrimp salads, my brother and sister got the shrimp tacos, and we got hush puppies, calamari, and a couple of clam chowders to share. (My little cousin got chocolate cake for lunch. That's it. The perks of traveling with your grandparents! LOL) Several of us also got adult beverages...they had a decent selection to chose from. My po boy was really good and the sweet potato fries were excellent. The shrimp salads and tacos were enjoyed as well. The hush puppies and the BUTTER were amazing! I thought the calamari was just a little tough (but not the worst) and the clam chowder was thin...more of a soup. Overall we highly enjoyed our meal and would recommend this place if you would like some fried seafood!

Erica Davis Lowcountry sits on Victory Drive in Thunderbolt -- a town so small it has exactly one square mile of land and a name borrowed from a lightning strike that supposedly split open a freshwater spring on the Wilmington River bluff. The restaurant itself has a similar origin story: a long-shuttered seafood spot called Teeple's, left empty for years, brought back to life by Erica and Dwight Davis with real care. The gaslight sconces out front stayed. So did the bones of the building. The garage doors open when the weather cooperates. We came in late on a Friday, catching the final stretch of their brunch service. Hannah (I believe) was our server -- in training, which you wouldn't have guessed. She steered us well and managed the table (and the room) with a confidence that didn't feel performed. We started with the Barbecue Shrimp and the Oysters Rockefeller. The barbecue shrimp -- Georgia shrimp in a spiced, rich sauce served with toasts -- was good but the one I'd skip on a return visit. The Oysters Rockefeller are the opposite story: roasted, finished with creamed collards and parmesan, and genuinely one of the better bites I've had in recent memory. Order them. My husband had the Wassaw Redfish -- pan-seared over stone-ground grits with garlic beurre blanc and heirloom tomato. Clean, confident cooking. I had the Sunday fried chicken, which delivered exactly what that dish promises when it's done right. Sides of fresh green beans, South Georgia collards, and Erica's Famous Coleslaw held their own across the board. Dessert was the Key Lime Pie, served in a cup that does not prepare you for how good it is. Tart and creamy in the right proportion. We didn't leave any behind. The family's seafood history in Savannah goes back to 1946. You can feel that kind of depth in a kitchen -- not in any one dramatic bite, but in the steadiness of it all.

The…read morerestaurant has a nice atmosphere, and the staff was friendly, although our food took a bit longer than expected to arrive. I ordered the Lowcountry Boil, which comes with shrimp, corn, potatoes, and sausage. The sausage and potatoes were good, and the seasoning was decent, but I was underwhelmed overall, especially considering the price. The shrimp didn't seem particularly fresh and had some white spots and discoloration that gave me the impression they may have been frozen for quite a while. As a result, the dish didn't quite live up to the hype for me. My wife ordered the Wassaw Redfish, which was recommended by our server, and that ended up being the standout dish of the meal. The redfish was cooked well, the garlic beurre blanc sauce was rich without being overwhelming, and the grits were creamy and flavorful. The shrimp and green beans complemented the dish nicely. Overall, the experience was mixed. The atmosphere was pleasant, and my wife's entrée was very good, but the Lowcountry Boil fell short of expectations. I'd consider coming back to try some of their other menu items, but based on this visit, I wouldn't order the boil again.

(3.5/5 Stars) Sunday, May 31, 2026…read more Our visit to Top Crab was a good experience overall, with some definite highlights and a few areas that could use improvement. When we first arrived, the staff was friendly, although several employees were gathered around the podium on their cell phones. That said, we were seated immediately, which was appreciated. Our server, Nette, was fantastic throughout the meal, friendly, attentive, and consistently checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was not quite what we expected. Rather than a traditional Low Country seafood feel, it had more of an urban club vibe. Not necessarily a bad thing, just different from what we anticipated. For appetizers, we ordered the Fried Okra and Calamari, and both arrived piping hot and fresh. The calamari was especially impressive and came with a sweet Thai dipping sauce that was rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The food overall was fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. I ordered the Fried Fish & Shrimp but also wanted fried oysters. Unfortunately, there wasn't an option to build a seafood combo, so I ended up purchasing two separate entrées. It would be great if Top Crab offered a "pick 2 or 3 seafood items" combo like many other seafood restaurants. Matt ordered the Seafood Boil (Combo A, Medium Heat), and it was easily the star of the evening. The seasoning was spot-on, the seafood was cooked perfectly, and the portion size was generous enough that he had leftovers to take home. The shrimp were juicy and flavorful, and the seasoning had just the right amount of kick. The crab legs were decent but didn't have as much meat as he had expected. Overall, if you're looking for a quick meal and good seafood in the Savannah area, Top Crab is definitely worth a visit. Great service from Nette, flavorful food, and several menu items that would bring us back again. While there are a few things that could be improved, we enjoyed our experience and will likely return in the future.
