Jary (who helped us when we first moved in) came out on Tuesday and said we had a leak somewhere since the closed-system unit was totally out of coolant. He came back Weds. to do the leak detection and found the leak, recommended a new coil. We had the new coil installed on Friday; this time it was Ricardo and team that did the work installing the coil. They did a great job and a couple hours later our house was back to normal temperature. Gabriel helped us with all the coordination and estimates and seeing if the part was still under warranty (it wasn't, but I didn't expect it would be honestly.) No one likes spending a bunch of money on repairs but I'm very confident that the recommendations Jary made were sound and correct. He did not attempt to upsell me at all, which is greatly appreciated. (The estimates Gabriel sent did include options for replacing the unit, but that wasn't necessary at this time and there was no pressure to do so.) I have tried reaching out multiple ways, including email, Yelp message, phone call, voicemail, and text message, but have not received a response. I understand companies get busy, but when a recently installed HVAC system has an issue, I would expect some level of follow-up, especially if warranty service may be involved. Based on my experience, I am disappointed with the lack of communication after the installation. The initial work may have been completed, but the lack of response when a problem came up has made it difficult to recommend them.
