Great service! Great prices! I had them come out for an annual checkup on my A/C system and also to check on a somewhat noisy compressor. They checked everything over for a *very* reasonable price, and Bob was very clear about what could be done but wasn't worth the expense. I couldn't recommend them more highly. Robb in the office was also very helpful and professional. I should add that I original contacted the installer of my system, AirTron, but they wanted 4 times as much for just the checkup, and they needed to book me two months out rather than the two weeks I got from Sweet Spot. They also insisted that due to how busy they were, they needed to send a checkup technician separate from the technician who can do repairs. Not only does that sound fishy, but if they checkup technician isn't qualified to evaluate possible repairs, then he can't adequately do his job for checkups, can he?? Wow. Don't get ripped off by AirTron - go to Sweet Spot instead! read more

Want to find an honest fair HVAC company? Stop looking and just use Sweet Spot. Robb is awesome, friendly, knows his stuff and is fair. When I had my service contract and they would come out, it was never "Oh look I found something wrong". It was usually "Everything looks great, see you in 6 months". When something was wrong, they explained it and gave me a fair price to fix it. read more

liszen!!! It was so hot in this house I bout melted off my eyeball weave (fake lashes)! This HVAC system has always been grouchy (it's 30 yrs old) but it got downright disrespectful lately! Picture it...the heatwave of 2018 The warranty company I use said the earliest they could get folks to me was FIVE days after I submitted my request. Whet?!?!? Did I mention my lashes?? And the cat, Louboutin del Moscato, and my mini pig, Leroy Spartacus, aint happy neither! No. Not in the middle of a heatwave. Found SSHS on yelp and they were able to arrive same day at a better rate. My 30 year old HVAC system needed refrigerant. 20 minutes later the house started to feel noticeably cooler. I will invite them out to check on the system in the fall. Quick to respond, stayed true to their quote, diagnosed the issue immediately and were very informative and friendly. But my warranty company fittinuh get these words! Well, as soon as I reattach my eyelashes and relax in this here air thanks to SSHS read more

Sweet Spot is a very different HVAC company, in a great way! They give you an estimate and then actually complete the job At the estimated price And On Time And without any additional charges or fees. They are Professional, on time, and HONEST! Doesn't get much better than that! They replaced my entire HVAC system and it works great! A few years later the condensate drain Froze due to cold weather and the system wouldn't work (that is the way it should work). They came out and diagnosed the issue and simply Deiced the pipe. They did this with NO CHARGE! That - is Great Customer Service by a very Honest and Reputable company. read more

I'm telling you.... these are your guys! I always search for providers on Yelp with'Top 10 ___' and got a list of which they were listed 4th or 5th (I think). But the reviews spoke to their Customer Service of which I am a FAN! To me, if the Customer Service is on point then so is everything else! They nailed it from the time I shot an E-mail SUNDAY NIGHT and received a response within an hour! The appointment was scheduled for the next day in the evening. Even when I called that day to get a smaller time window Robb answered the phone WHILE he was doing an install!!! YES! Why can't all business follow this model?! As stated in the other reviews, they take the time to educate you a bit as well as providing you with options given certain scenarios that could possibly play out later. ...gotta love it! I found my NEW AC guys! So, they know what they're doing, they're professional & courteous, they respond quickly, the fee was hella resonable, and my fix was quick (they had everything they needed in their trailer). Great Job guys! Oh, and did I mention the business is FEMALE OWNED. yeah, perhaps that's why they're SO AWESOME! read more

I would recommend Sweet Spot for future A/C needs. It was a holiday weekend during a heat wave when my A/C started to leak. I messaged Sweet Spot and they replied within minutes and scheduled service the same day. Rob accessed and quickly determined the issue. The entire time he explained his course of action and made recommendations. At no time did he try to force me into unnecessary and costly services. Instead, he provided me with the facts and allowed me to make a decision. He answered all of my questions to allow me to be more informed about my system. Aside from fixing my issue on a sweltering day on a holiday, the price was extremely reasonable. It was much better than I could've predicted. read more

Rob was great! Excellent customer service and reliability. We called him on a Sunday morning cause the ac unit on our rental place was leaking. Rob was quick to answer our call and was able to respond to the scene and fix the problem on site. We plan to use him in a few months to replace the hvac system. read more

Rob and his team have worked on several of our rental properties including a difficult HVAC replacement in Bowie. He's always solved problems on the first visit and never pressured us to upgrade or make an unneeded and expensive repair. When our own very old heat pump died we did not hesitate to reach out to him. He took the time to properly survey the house, ensured the duct work would be usable with a new system, and sized the appropriate solution at an excellent price. The smart thermostat was a bonus making it easy to remotely control temps and track air quality. Rob is very conscientious, patient, and certainly takes pride in his work. Could not be happier with this install and look forward to working with him in the future! read more

Rob was great. During the coldest month in history our heat stopped working. Of course it would break when it's 18 degrees outside. Rob was friendly knowledgeable and explain a few things to me that I didn't know. I recommend Sweet Spot for your HVAC needs. read more

The best the technician was great and service was 5 star and very professional and honest have helped my entire family

So okay, I'm like months late with this review--but I will forever be grateful for this company! 90+ degree day, our AC went out, and they came to fix our air SAME DAY...AND didn't hit us over the head to do it! Very affordable, funny jokes, very friendly HVAC tech and good quality work. Had our air back on and running within an hour. You can't go wrong with this company! read more

My HVAC was not blowing cold air. It was covered by home warranty. The technicians sent by home warranty company diagnosed something different. we waited for 8 days and was denied full coverage of total repair cost. I contacted Sweet spot home services around 2 pm and by 5pm the same day my HVAC was working optimally. Problem solved and home is chilly again. Rob was responsive, knowledgeable , courteous and professional. I will recommend sweet spot to anyone in a heartbeat. read more

Sweet Spot is now definitely my go to HVAC company. On the first really warm day I turned on my AC and very little happened as to air flow. I reached out to a couple of companies and hired Sweet Spot. Upon arrival, Robb was so pleasant and personable. He made no promises except that he would do a complete diagnostic review of my system and give me the information that I needed to make an informed decision. He checked the system inside as well as outside and walked the house to get a sense of air flow. The problem ended up being a multitude of small things and the system was running better than it ever had in the 18 months that I've been in my home by the time he left. I truly cannot say enough about Sweet Spot and their professionalism, honesty, fair pricing and just a real pleasure to work with. I can say that I highly recommend this business. read more

I highly recommend this company. Our A/C broke during a heatwave. We moved into our home 2 years ago and have not had to get the a/c serviced so we weren't sure who to call. This companies sticker was on our a/c from what we assume was previous service so we called them in a panic at 5:00 pm. They responded to us promptly and were very friendly and professional on the phone. They were able to come to our home the following morning. Bob, our technician, was very prompt and arrived at 9:45 am (service window was 9-11 am.) He texted me prior to arrival to let me know he was coming. He was very kind, professional, and friendly. He even put up with our very excitable dog! He explained what was wrong with our a/c and had the part we needed in his van. He told us how much it cost and asked if he should proceed. We said yes as the amount was very reasonable. He worked very quickly and had our a/c up and running in no time. He also wore a mask and was very COVID conscious in our home. We will definitely be using this company again! We can tell that they are really good people who care! read more

Sweet Spot Home Services is top notch in customer sevice and quality. Robb and his technician were prompt, responsive and extremely professional. I would not even think of using anyone else for my heating/cooling needs. Give them a call, you won't regret it. read more

We had an weird situation with our heat pump where it was blowing warm air when set in the cool mode, and the house was getting warm enough to feel like a sauna. Set a request out to this company at 9:30P and got a response within 20-minutes. They were reasonably able to accommodate our day/time request for service, and arrived at the time scheduled. The technicians were professional, informative, and used all their technical tricks in the book to diagnose what was causing the issue. In addition, though not originally requested, they also agreed to my last minute request to perform a spring "tune-up" inspection on all related systems, and they did a great job, even found a plugged up evaporation hose that I didn't know was clogged. This is the way a professional services company should operate. A definite repeat for any future heating and air conditioning work. read more

I woke up early this morning to a very hot house. My air conditioner abandoned me in the middle of the night. I contacted Sweet Spot Home Services at exactly 8am. I spoke with Robb around 8:30am and Bob arrived at 10:40 am. Now my air is working fine. Bob explained the problem, showed me both the old and new parts, and also made sure nothing else was wrong with the unit. Fair, quick and honest services. Awesome customer service. I will definitely use this company again. read more

Rob is punctual, polite, personable & very professional! Providing outstanding customer service, Rob took the time to thoroughly explain the issue. He also went above and beyond by determining if our system was still under warranty; and provided recommendations as needed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Will definitely hire Sweet Spot Home Services again & will also refer to my neighbors! Thanks again Rob! read more

I turned on the AC but only 85 degree air blew and the house was humid. Called Sweet Spot around 11am; Robb gave me a window of 12-3, and Bob showed up before 1pm. Nice. Professional, personable, and explained everything. Answered all my questions and when he identified the problem, gave me the estimate and installed the part. He went on to check the indoor part of the system and gave me a prognosis on our 30 year-old Trane. There'll be no more surprises (hopefully) because I am informed. I'm truly delighted when local businesses know their craft and bill accordingly. Sweet Spot is a gem! read more

I don't even know where to begin regarding ALL the great things about this company. First, I received an incredibly quick response to my inquiry. I needed someone who'd be willing to take my information over the phone since the heat went out on one of my rental properties on probably one of the coldest days this winter season. Rob assured me all would be well and was able to get out there within a couple of hours of me contacting him. Rob showed up on time, was professional and courteous, and called me to discuss the needed repairs before proceeding. He then emailed me the invoice. Even my tenants commented on how great Rob was. To top it off, he was more reasonably priced then the other people I contacted. He deserves all of the five stars of this review. I will definitely use him again. read more

Awesome company! Highly recommended! You are treated like family! Honest! Trust-worthy! Excellent customer service! ...all with a smile! Call this company FIRST! They were a life-saver for me. I had other companies come out and suggest much more expensive repairs and even one other company wanted me to replace my unit. Rob went above and beyond. He came out earlier to accommodate my schedule and was very patient and explained everything, including providing very useful tips. It really is like family is coming to help you! read more

We had Robb and Bob out to our home for preventive maintenance. They came out on a Sunday for regular service, no up charges for weekend appointment which is amazing. A company that's works around my work schedule is so rare today, a huge advantage to make appointments. The rates for regular service are fair and reasonable. We would recommend Sweet Spot to family and friends. read more

WOW!!!!!!! is what I can say about the friendliness and professionalism of Robb. Robb and Bob are extremely skilled, professional, honest and trustworthy. They explain all of their work if you're interested and address every possible concern (I not only needed to service my unit but had questions about the flow through a particular vent; they were able to increase the flow and save me from having to buy a separate window A/C for a third-floor loft). Highly recommended!! read more

Fantastic! Initially tried to go through our home warranty and they were unable to find a single company that could come out and fix our A/C during one of the summer heat waves. After seeing the reviews for Sweet Spot I called about 5 minutes before their closing time. Rob answered, I told him what was going on and asked if they could come out the following day because I knew that they were about to close. He said "We don't close. You need us, we are on the way". They stayed for several hours and got our A/C up in running that night! They were very professional and also great to talk with. I have recommended them to everyone that I can think of and will continue to use them in the future. read more

My AC went out in the middle of the night. I was so worried about who to call. I wanted someone that would be responsive, knowledgeable, professional, courteous and wouldn't try to scam me or break the bank. After reading several reviews for HVAC company's I decided to go with The Sweet Spot. They had great reviews and while sometimes you feel like folks are exaggerating this was NOT the case. Rob reached out less than five min after I sent my request (and with the heat wave we've been having I was worried they wouldn't be able to get to me today). He came out the same day. He gave me a window of 11-2pm and arrived at 1130am. Rob and Matt came in they were courteous, professional knowledgeable they repaired my AC quickly for a very reasonable and fair price. I will be both using and recommending The Sweet Spot to everyone...YES THIS MEANS YOU!! Look no further just pick up the phone and call them you'll be like me, super relieved and glad you did!!! read more

I had a great experience with Robb and Bob, who came to fix my furnace issue. They arrived within the promised time frame and were able to accommodate me to pretty quickly. After the company I usually use to do my annual HVAC inspections couldn't come out for over a month, I contacted Sweet Spot Home Services. I was impressed by all the great reviews for them, and I wasn't disappointed. I was able to get an appointment within the week. I had noticed that when I first turned on our furnace that I wasn't getting warm air, so I wasn't surprised when Robb Sr. informed me that my heat exchanger had a leak and had shut down. It could not be repaired so I decided to let them replace it, which they did several days later, after Robb Sr. came back with his son, Robb Jr., and helper, Bob, to do the work. They arrived within the time range promised, showed me where the problem was, explained what they were going to do, and completed the job that day. They were pleasant to work with, kept me informed about what needed to be done, and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. I was completely satisfied with everything about their service and will be using them to service my HVAC from now on. read more

Had 2 scheduled appointments (different locations) for the same day with Sweet Spot Home services. One appointment was in Bowie, MD and the 2nd appointment in Clinton, MD. Excellent service, would definitely recommend this company to friends/family. read more

I came home after work to discover that the AC was out. After having mixed reviews with a few previous HVAC companies, we wanted to try a different company. We tried this one and we are very glad that we did! They came to our aid the same day and didn't charge us extra for it! We consider this company to be very friendly and affordable. The HVAC Technician provided us with excellent quality work and was very knowledgeable about HVAC. They had our AC back up and running within an hour. They also verify that the unit was fully charged and stayed a little extra to be sure that everything was operating properly. read more

They were awesome! Professional, explained everything in layman terms, so I could understand completely. The other great thing is that most companies send out "salesmen" to give you and estimate. Rob not only gave me the estimate, but was part of the install team! They started the install 2 days later. They were the most inexpensive and the best! Definitely give them a try. You won't be disappointed! If you got online a check out HVAC replacement....you will see most equipment is the same. All made by United Tech. The most important thing is who installs the equipment. You want Sweet Spot!!! read more
