After a week without being contacted by her, I reached out to Bennett AGAIN. He scheduled Scott, who leads the remodel business to come out to give initial consultation of my multi phased full home remodel. Scott was a NO CALL, NO SHOW. He was schedule to arrive at 3pm, at 3:30 I contacted Bennett and he told me Scott had a client emergency to tend to "broken pipe". YEAH RIGHT! Even if this were true, so far, the brief history of NO communication reigns supreme with this company. I understand things happen, but there is no excuse for NO communication. Maybe Affinity Stoneworks is accustomed to customers with unlimited time and money to waste. I am not that customer. I had to take off work to accommodate Scott's schedule just for him not to show up. How am I to trust Affinity Stoneworks will not take thousands of my dollars and disappear, not show up, and string me along. I cannot. I was really looking forward to collaborating with this company, their website photos are beautiful; I was hopping my house would be a gorgeous as the one's in their photo gallery. Recently we were upgrading a few items around our home and called to several places for prices on…read moredelivered sand. Southern Landscape Supply not only had the best prices but the lowest delivery charges. We decided to stop off to look at the products to ascertain the quality of the product and to verify which sand was the one for the job. Chris, the General Manager of the location, was there that Saturday and extremely helpful with advice on which product of theirs would be best for the job we were working on to get the best results. We originally requested delivery for the same date, which they could accommodate. After leaving we realized that we had a few projects to complete to make our project run more smoothly. We called to change delivery for to the next weekend. They were kind about our needing to delay the delivery and worked with us without any issues or attitude - in fact they were really friendly and understanding about the requested change for delivery date. The next weekend they let us know when the driver would be headed our way instead of just having him show up. The driver who delivered the sand was also fantastic -- he had to back down a hilled driveway and through a narrow gate to get the product as close to the area we needed it as possible. His great driving prevented us from wheelbarrowing two tons of sand all over creation. My back sends him my sincere gratitude too! Next time I will not call all over to get a price -- I will call Chris and the team at Southern Landscape Supply FIRST. They will be my go to for any of their products from here forward.
