After a week without being contacted by her, I reached out to Bennett AGAIN. He scheduled Scott, who leads the remodel business to come out to give initial consultation of my multi phased full home remodel. Scott was a NO CALL, NO SHOW. He was schedule to arrive at 3pm, at 3:30 I contacted Bennett and he told me Scott had a client emergency to tend to "broken pipe". YEAH RIGHT! Even if this were true, so far, the brief history of NO communication reigns supreme with this company. I understand things happen, but there is no excuse for NO communication. Maybe Affinity Stoneworks is accustomed to customers with unlimited time and money to waste. I am not that customer. I had to take off work to accommodate Scott's schedule just for him not to show up. How am I to trust Affinity Stoneworks will not take thousands of my dollars and disappear, not show up, and string me along. I cannot. I was really looking forward to collaborating with this company, their website photos are beautiful; I was hopping my house would be a gorgeous as the one's in their photo gallery. What a disappointment.

There are a lot of choices when remodeling a bath or a kitchen - it's a big investment of time +…read moremoney, so you want to get it right. After living with the bathroom countertops in our home for over 10 years, we decided it was time to replace them AND get new sinks...in all three full baths. Yes, we're a little insane. I did all the usual things: browsed the big box stores, shopped online and then I reached out to a friend for a recommendation. This friend owned his own construction business for years and had just completed finishing his basement. I asked if he was happy with his countertops in the new bath and the bar area. The aswer was "absolutely - they did a great job, and gave us an awesome price" and he referred us to Surface Providers. When someone with his construction skills is happy with a company, that's a BIG plus. We headed up to their showroom within the week, where we met with Kyle. After explaining our project to him, we looked at sinks, made our choice and then went back into their warehouse & walked into what felt like acres of material! You want choice? They've got choice! We knew we didn't want marble again, so that helped us narrow down the aisles and almost immediately hubby and I both stopped in front of one and said "That's it". Fortunately, I'd already done some rough measurements of all three bathroom counters, so Kyle was able to give us a solid estimate that day and it was absolutely the best pricing we'd gotten anywhere. One hand surgery/recovery time and one old tub removal/new tub install later, we were ready for Surface Providers to come do the official measurement and mvoe forward with our countertops - Kyle had kept in touch with us the entire time, and quickly set up the appointment for measurement. In no time at all, our countertops were ready and we set up the install. Victor and his assistant were super nice, answered all our questions and got the countertops and sinks installed in no time. We were thrilled! Now comes the best part: there was a manufacturing flaw in one of the sinks that we didn't notice until we started to reconnect the plumbing. The drain of the sink wasn't manufactured straight, so it couldn't form a tight seal and kept leaking. Hubby reached out to Kyle, who quickly arranged to have a new sink delivered and installed. Quality - 100% Service - 100% Selection - 100% If we ever decided to redo our Kitchen, we won't waste time anywhere else. We'll head back up to Surface Providers.

We've had quite the renovation experience, but i will save you the details. One of the biggest…read moredecisions we had to make was for countertops. We needed them for the kitchen counter, a huge island, a buffet, a built in dresser, a powder room and the master bathroom. My wife wanted Quartz, so I sold a kidney through uncle Joey to pay for it, and we eventually decided to go with a full height kitchen backsplash as well. I called several places, pricing was similar, but when I spoke to Matt "it was like Sparks, down on E Street!" Matt was so friendly and inviting and wasn't pushy. He just said our remnant yard is open, come by anytime you want and take a look. So we did. I can't remember if I called him, before or after we went by. We went through the show room and looked at several different Quartz samples, prices varied so much. We finally chose a very reasonably priced quartz product that looked very nice for the entire kitchen area, and the buffet in the dining room. For the other pieces, that were going throughout the house, we chose those out of the remnant yard. The remnant yard holds lots of different types of stone, and they are discounted, so you can find some great deals. I also ended up having the entire master bathroom shower bench, niche surrounds and threshold cut out of Quartz. Sorry for all the detail. Matt is a great person. I found him very sincere, helpful and honest. He was with me through the entire process. We had a few issues along the way, and trust me, if you haven't renovated expect issues. They're going to happen, it's how you and the people you deal with take care of them. That's when I met Don, the owner of G&M. What can I say, I wanted to hate the guy, but he was so nice! There was a small accident, which I understand can happen when dealing with these very large and heavy pieces of stone, and Don without hesitation took care of the problem. I have to mention Glauco, the installer. This guy was great, his whole crew was great. Good luck! Once the house is cleaned up, I will try and update with some pictures.

Subsequently with seeing even more install issues that are solely on Granite & Marble Solutions, they are completely unresponsive and keep kicking the can down the road. Very bad customer service. Pretty clear that they just hope I will go away. It's been very disappointing to have spent the money we did and have all the install issues which permanently impact the quality and look of the stone. I've waited a long time to post a review hoping they would come to the table.
