I have wanted to do a closet system and a few years now. I finally pulled a plug. After several quotes, I settled on Artisan Custom Closets. It was a great experience. My designer, Samantha, was so professional, helpful and thoughtful. She helped me design our his and hers closets and my laundry room. She thought of things that I didn't consider adding! Husband love his closet and I love, love, mine! It's beautiful and functional. I hated the racks. The design process was seamless and I loved that she provided 3D images the day after the consultation. Also, Samantha answered all my follow up questions before and even after signing the contract. They were reasonable in price and by Nicole and The install took a full day (3 spaces). My installers, Andrew and Sergio, were awesome, worked quietly and efficiently. They did an amazing job bringing the images to life and cleaning the spaces after the install. I needed to make one small adjustment after the install. Samantha submitted the ticket and they took care of it with no issues. I am very happy and I highly recommend the company and Samantha! read more

Kimberly was amazing! I had cleaned and organized the majority of the family house but the garage was giving me so much anxiety. I really didn't want to deal with it and felt that the current hanging racks just would not work with organizing. I needed everything to be properly put away. Kimberly sold me on Artisan because she is meticulous, detail-oriented and very knowledgeable on the product. She was very clear on what customers did and did not like including her own experience which helped to confirm what I wanted. The install was very smooth and he walked me through how to use the accessories. I did get another option from The Container Store and it very obvious for me to move forward with Kimberly and the design. It was thought out for what I needed and thorough in the measuring to accommodate my space / tools which I was not getting from the competitor. There was no thought there or expansion on my initial ask. Back to the garage, I would have Artisan or my handyman paint the walls. I did have a handyman remove the racks and cover the holes beforehand as I wanted a smooth install, but I didn't have them paint the walls white again. It is not a big deal but a note to anyone else who is on the fence about it. I did have a small work station installed and I did ask about lights or tools to hang right in from of me. I don't think they offer that in their current catalog but I do think that should add in the future. The handy-wall is larger so I don't think it would fit in that space to hang smaller tools. If you are looking for something similar, you may want to design the space to leave that open and do it yourself. I have a garden rack next to it so I do use the lights and the wooden pole to hang a fan. Overall, I am very happy with the final product and the install. I have had a lot of experiences where the sales sold a great experience or tool only for the install to be a mess or disrespectful to your home. So I do dread installs and thankfully that was not an issue here. It was exactly what I wanted and Kimberly and the installer made the experience very easy and stress-fre. read more

I love my new closet. The entire process was easy. My designer worked within my budget and my closet is perfect.

I can't say enough positive about Andrea Lively and the Artisan Custom Closet's team. Just about anything that could go wrong with our home addition project, did go wrong. With one standout exception...Artisan Custom Closets. They worked with my wife and I after about a year's worth of delays (literally). But when it finally came time for the closet install, they were ready and delivered. Exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. We were so happy with our closet, we actually reached back out to Andrea to design and have installed another built-in for our water closet. Once again, the installer was professional and extremely detailed oriented. From the in person consultation with Andrea, to the numerous calls and emails to reschedule, to the two separate installs we had done, everything was top notch. When we first started looking at custom closets we received quotes from Artisan and another large national brand. Artisan was slightly less expensive, but also was more professional and had a much larger offering. Everything my wife dreamt of, Andrea delivered on and then even added some ideas of things we hadn't thought of. First class organization...period. read more

I LOVE MY CLOSET!! I cannot recommend this place enough!! Danielle was such a joy to work with! She was so patient and professional, yet so friendly. As you can see from the pics, the space she had to design in was very challenging but she came up with so many great solutions. She was incredibly thorough; measuring the lengths of my clothes to ensure that there would be enough height, counting the amount of shoes I had, etc. The very next day, she had three beautiful design options for me to choose from. She presented 3D renderings with every detail that she even sent over to me to review afterwards. I loved that I was able to spend some time and dive into all of the details by myself before making any decisions. She wasn't pushy either, which I appreciated. I am absolutely blown away by the final results! Their crew members were so professional and cleaned up well after themselves. I HIGHLY recommend them!!! read more

We had a fantastic experience with Danielle at Artisan Custom Closets. Closets completed: His + Her Master Bedroom, Linen, 2 Coat, Pantry The whole process was great. We scheduled an appointment for Danielle to come out - in about 90 minutes she had measured every closet and provided us with all of the details and options. About a week later, Danielle reviewed all the virtual designs with us. The software was very easy to understand and manipulate, so Danielle could move things around and scale things back/forth for us to fit within our budgets. Our strategy was to tell Danielle our entire wish list, and then scale back as necessary to meet our budget. From our experience, Artisan is more price competitive than California Closets without sacrificing any quality. ~4 weeks later, the install was done in one day. They were very clean and professional. I would recommend Artisan to anyone - they were a great local company to work with that has high attention to detail and customer service. read more

We got four closets done (master and three bed rooms) with Artisan. The experience through design and sales process was very good, we liked the design which was one of the key reasons we chose to work with Artisan. The installation went fairly well too and the end product looks very nice and functional. They stood behind their product and services and completed all the open items to ensure we were satisfied. I'd also recommend going with dovetail drawer boxes as opposed to laminate as we weren't pleased with the quality of laminate boxes. I'd recommend them. read more

I can't say enough great things about our experience with Artisan Custom Closets. After my husband purchased a gift card for our anniversary with the intention of focusing on our primary bedroom closet, we ended up prioritizing a more functional family need- our first floor mudroom. Kimberly was a fantastic designer-- for both our closet (which we plan to do in the future with Artisan) and our mudroom project that we just had installed. She was incredibly responsive and accommodating of all of our questions/requests-- including creating a space for our kitty's litter box. Eric was the installer, and he was incredibly professional, kind, and efficient. I was impressed by the installation scheduling lead time, and even more impressed by the final outcome! I highly recommend Artisan Custom Closets, and we look forward to working with them for future projects in our home. read more

After thorough research of countless vendors and getting quotes from both Home Depot and Closets by Design, we decided to choose Artisan Custom Closets. Their process from booking an appt, to their site visit, to installation was easy. Jay Choice, our designer was a pleasure to work with and she did an outstanding job! She listened to our needs and customized our two master bedroom closets based on our wants & needs. She was super patient and offered good advice. The installers were professional and efficient as well. I would highly recommend this company and Jay Choice specifically for any of your custom storage needs! read more

I contacted a few companies about designing my dream custom closet. Hands down, Artisan Custom Closets were the best as far as value, professionalism, color options, accessories, and PRICE. I was really expecting to spend much more. My designer Debbie Dickinson, patiently listened to what I needed and designed a perfect walk-in closet that was converted from a spare bedroom. I have additional storage that I didn't even know I needed. I have room to grow and most of all, a functional space. Not only did they convert the bedroom into a closet, they removed the wire shelves in the interior closet and added additional shelves. I absolutely love it. I plan to use them, and Debbie again, for my pantry and project in the basement. You will not be disappointed with Artisan Custom Closets. They really work with your budget and offer ideas. read more

Very positive experience with Artisan Custom Closets. Danielle Carruth is very knowledgeable in her field and enjoyable to work alongside in creating exactly what we envisioned. She was able to maximize our his/her walk in closet space ceiling to floor. Our laundry room was transformed to hold both a microwave and wine fridge while adding much needed storage too! She finished our garage entryway with a built in to house jackets and shoes along with a bench and top storage. Pricing is fair and service and installation top notch! I would not hesitate to refer or use Danielle again!! read more

Very nice. This was an installation for my mother in law, who moved to a 55 and older community. I needed someone patient nice and reliable. We got all three, and now she can get to her shoes and clothes without having to bend over. It looks great, functions great, and now my mother in law feels like she has a new friend. Highly recommend this group! read more

We worked with Cathy at Artisan, and had a wonderful experience. She analyzes your existing wardrobe to determine what type of organization you need. She gave us good advice and warned us when requested features weren't recommended. Artisan offers a huge amount of options, so you can really customize your closet to your exact specs. Their showroom is really nice also. You can even upgrade to get built-in ironing boards, laundry hamper drawers, etc. They design it using AutoCAD software, so you get to see your closet before you buy it. Our new closet organization system looks great and is very functional. The lifetime warranty is a nice bonus also. I can't comment on how competitive the price was, because we didn't bother to get any other quotes. They also accept credit cards, so it's a nice way to pick up a bunch of bonus points. read more

We just finished a major renovation of our house. We worked with many designers and subcontractors. My design specialist, Debbie, WOW'd me!!! YES-- I was blown away to see my finished design. I had 3 bedroom closets, hall closet, master suite and pantry designed. Debbie listened and turned my thoughts in a masterpiece. I didn't feel pressured to do the closets into a specific, pre-cut designed as I experienced with another popular closet companies. Each closet is custom designed adding personality to each room. For example, my hall closet had that one wire rack. I turned that closet to a coat closet to put all my coats, jackets, shoes and winter gear. I was shouting with joy! EXCEED MY EXPECTATIONS Oscar and Steve were prompt, friendly and professional. Taking their time for such outstanding, quality end product was necessary. Again, this was NO 'cookie cutter' job. They had to follow the blueprint. I was impressed to see teamwork from start to finish. I loved my closets so much, I called to get those bathrooms and linen closets done. I look forward to sharing more custom closets by Artisan. read more

I came to Artisan after I was not comfortable with the options and pricing with Closets by Design. From the very beginning, I was impressed with their attention to detail and professionalism in designing a new master closet that was best for my individual needs. I worked with Kenyatta. She met late with me at their office in accordance to my schedule and showed me around the showroom to that I could see all options. She sat with me and helped me personally choose options that would be best for my needs. We discussed pricing up front, and I appreciated the transparency. She gave a thorough overview of the process and came out to my home to look at the space to make final recommendations and adjustments to the plan. The wait was worth it and my closet was finally installed yesterday. The installer was kind, knowledgeable, did it all himself, and was very experienced with over 15 years with this company. That speaks volumes. He arrived on-time, cleaned up behind himself, and completed the work in the expected amount of time. I'm glad I chose them and am so excited to come home to a beautiful designed closet that helps beautify the space, increase my home value, and help me remain as organized as possible. They are awesome! Choose Artisan! read more

I am a super reasonable consumer, who fully understands flexibility in the world we live in. I ALWAYS give people the benefit of the doubt, but simply can't with Artisan Custom Closets. I would NOT recommend Artisan Custom Closets for many reasons. No Custom - Do not deviate from ANY standard item, especially if your design is considered "small" to them. I received pantry designs from other companies, and decided to go with Artisan Custom Closets, because they were in fact "Custom", as their name states. Very disappointed. They are not Custom. My designer, Ashley Friction, was truly amazing! She was extremely focused on customer service and satisfaction, a lesson her management team needs to learn. My husband and I visited the showroom and fell in love with a pull out column rack style cabinet (similar to a tie rack) that was integrated into a showroom design. We wanted this same cabinet design, but as a spice rack. Ashley researched with Engineering, and relayed back to me that the column spice rack could not be incorporated. Odd, since I got the idea from THEIR showroom, AND they are "custom". In the end, I researched a third party pull out spice rack and Ashley designed a simple opening for this door, and the door panel only. I would be responsible for installing the actual rack. I approved the order, and the next business day, I found myself on a 45-minute phone call with the management team. No Professionalism. - I was on a 45-minute call with what I thought was with the Design Manager, and little did I know, the Engineer, and the Owner of the company were also on the call. Who does that? Asked other people to attend the call, AND NEVER ANNOUNCES THIS TO THE CUSTOMER. Bad business. They truly do not care about the customer. And, the designer who did all the work was not on the call. I find this very odd. This was a weird situation, and the customer saw right through. Cookie Cutter Process - Their goal is to "turn" the designs as fast as possible. The more time they spend with a customer, the less money they make. I even offered to start over with the design, to come up with a totally different solution, but no, this would take additional time, and their profit would be low. They simply did not want my business because it was not a large project. Period. In fact, they told me that did not want my project, and began to initialize the refund before the call was over. Wow! Very sad that all of my neighbors are waiting to see how my project goes, because they all have projects they wanted to use Artisan for - that won't happen. I also had a home office and a bar that I wanted them to design, but had decided to use the pantry as a test. If you want a project designed for an odd size space, or anything "custom", or if you just want a pleasant customer experience, do not use Artisan Custom Closets. read more

I'm so happy I found Artisan. I just did a full master bath and closet renovation and was originally going to go with the custom closet from Home Depot. After comparing the prices and the quality of the materials it was a no-brainer that I needed to go with Artisan. I'm so happy with the finished product. read more

My master closet collapsed & I needed a renovation. I don't have a large, fancy closet area, so it was more standard design, with hanging areas, cubby storage & drawers including a nice jewelry drawer. It took a week or 2 to get a designer to come out. Jessica was so detailed & attentive, & responded immediately to questions. The crew that prepped, Octavio & Mohammed, were also so friendly, quick & efficient. The installer (Alan?-I'm drawing a blank!) was also quick, & it's not that they hurry, but this is what they do every day & they really know what they are doing. No sub-contractors- they work directly with/for ACC. Every person arrived on time as scheduled. They have a showroom in Marietta & manufacture here in GA. I had a consult with another company, & it would have cost a little less money, but the designer totally dropped the ball when it came to communication which is a big NO for me. So we paid a bit more, but it was worth it in the end. The process was so easy & I would highly recommend Jessica & Artisan Custom Closets any day of the week! read more

I have always had the "standard" type closets growing up and never really thought that a closet could look any other way. Since we are having our house remodeled and part of that was a large master closet my wife wanted to highlight it with more than the standard closet hardware. We contacted Artisan and a lovely lady named Danielle came out, took our measurements and set up an appointment for us to come to the showroom. The day of our an appointment we sat in their well designed showroom and Danielle walked us through different options, well mainly my wife and her did the designing! First off, we had several quotes and designs that we got along with Artisan. We had a new build house that wasnt finished, but had a model. Beverly was the only one that would come out to the model to get us a design and pricing. Beverly was so creative with the design and listened to our needs when she came up with the best design for us. We went to the showroom to see where everything is made and met the owner, which was just another reason we went with Artisan. The owner was very nice and came out to say hello to us, the morning we were there and thanked us for our business. We had closed the deal a few months before installation, but this last week was installation day. We were told that the installers would wear booties and would need access to the garage and would clean up their mess, etc.... How many times have we heard that, "we'lll clean up"... Billy and Joel came out to install, were on time and very professional. We had asked them to do the pantry first, then the his closet, as we had some last minute painting still needing to be done in the "hers" closet and also needed to work, so the kitchen was the only place for that. They had no problem with our request. They installed everything and it looked amazing! Did they clean up, oh YES!... Cleaned everything up and even wiped down the shelves and drawers for the closets and pantry they just installed. We are so impressed with the way they turned out. Thank you Artisan Closets, Beverly and Billy and Joel. read more

What else can I say, other than this company is exceptional. From my design consultant, Maggie - to the scheduling team, Kenyatta - and finally to my installer, Brian: everyone was fully engaged, professional and on-time. Since I broke my wire hanging system, I was badly in need of this closet. Maggie was able to push up my installation schedule by weeks - she is an angel!!!! Oh, and did I mention that the design was EVERYTHING! I never would have imagined that all of my stuff could fit into my closet space, in such style! There is a nook for all of my items. And the overall price was extremely competitive. I love it when a company does what they say they are going to do and I LOVE my new custom closet. Thanks Artisan Customer Closets! I would do it all over again with you!!!!! read more

We shopped around for before choosing Artisan Custom Closets, and that's how I can say with conviction that they were the best choice. With the first vendor, I had to point out that their design would have the closet door smacking against the clothes. (I'm not a designer, I just have common sense.) He wanted to charge $1k more than we ultimately paid, and we would have had to wait at least 3 months for installation. The second vendor told me the design I wanted wasn't feasible, then offered a very minimal improvement over the original closet for only a little less than the first vendor. Again, 3 or more months to installation. These were not fly-by-night operations, either. They were name brands that you would recognize. With Artisan, we got the design we wanted at a low price and I think we waited less than a month for installation. We're very pleased with their professionalism and, most importantly, the results. read more

This is the third time I have had custom closets installed. This is the first company I would use again. Courtney, the designer, was very professional, took time to understand our needs and designed exactly what we asked for without trying to insert ridiculous upsells. Kenyatta, in the office, was prompt in assisting me with any needs and made sure the scheduling was clear and the 'to do' list for was delivered early so we could be prepared. Chris, the patch and paint guy, did an excellent job removing the old wire system, patching and repainting. Cornelius, the installer, was prompt and installed quickly but correctly.
