Where do I begin? I was completely frozen when it came to cleaning out our basement. After more than 20 years of raising a family and running a business that accumulated years of props, design pieces, and supplies, the thought of tackling it was completely overwhelming. I finally decided to take a chance and hire Nancy, and I can't tell you what a great decision that was. She's an expert organizer with 20 years of experience, but just as importantly, she has this wonderfully calm energy that makes the whole process feel positive--and somehow even enjoyable. Since then, I've hired her to help me tackle 20+ years of clothing, multiple closets, and now my son's closet. She's so good I keep thinking, "What else can I possibly hire Nancy to organize?" What I didn't expect was how much lighter I would feel afterward. Having less and knowing where everything is has genuinely given me a greater sense of peace and clarity. Hiring someone to help with something I technically could do myself initially felt like a bit of a luxury, but after experiencing the difference it has made, I can honestly say Nancy has been worth the investment. read more

It's hard to pin down exactly what Nancy Meck's expertise is--because she seems to do everything. On paper, she's the master of bringing order to chaos, whether it's a cluttered closet, an out-of-control kitchen, that dreaded junk room, or an entire house. But reducing her to just an organizer would be missing the point entirely. Nancy first came to our home when my wife was juggling too many projects at once and feeling frustrated by the lack of progress. I sure as hell wasn't going to be the one to make sense of it all. Enter Nancy. She didn't just tidy up--she reimagined our space. First, she tackled the office in a way we never would have considered. Then the kitchen. Then the closet. By the time she was done, she probably knew where everything was in our house better than we did. But that was just the warm-up. Fast forward to our international move. The smartest decision we made? Bringing Nancy in to quarterback the whole thing. She handled everything--coordinating realtors, hiring movers, clearing out what we weren't taking--while somehow making an overwhelming process feel completely manageable. But Nancy's real superpower isn't just her ability to organize. It's the confidence she instills in everyone around her. She's unshakable. In all the time I've known her, I've never seen her frustrated or frazzled. When Nancy's involved, stress just doesn't stand a chance. read more

Nancy was excellent. She's absolutely hands on and just flat gets it done. She was collaborative and inclusive when helping us determine what we wanted to accomplish. More important, she's a super person. She gained my girls trust to allow her into their personal space and had fun working together. Couldn't recommend her enough. Mike R. read more

I had Nancy come to my 1400 square foot Condo and I really didn't know what to expect. I thought I would get some helpful ideas but the organizing experience was so much more than that. We emptied out closets (that I thought were fairly organized) . She was so focused and creative on how best to maximize the space. She worked quickly and efficiently and did not even take a break. We moved from one room to another and all her ideas were so appreciated. She was energetic and fun to work with too which is a definite plus. She even organized my office files in a totally new way that I had never thought of. I highly recommend this company. I feel so happy now when I look at spaces that have more room than I ever envisioned. It's a great feeling . read more

I inquired about Merck organizing a few months back and Nancy was swift and professional with her response. I schedule the team to perform some organizational tasks at my house which was in a huge disarray but Nacy and her team literally walked me through everything and handled the situation as true professionals. The team was extremely organized and hands on. I didn't have to monitor or micromanage anything. That was extremely important and helpful. They were respectful of the time and used every minute extremely wisely! I can't wait to finish my home reno so that I can see their magic with my closet and pantry. read more

My moving company recently moved a client who hired Meck Organizing to assist with the preparation and organizing for the relocation. The move consisted of 4 different long distance destinations, donation items, and sold items. Nancy and her team were flawless in making sure everything happened in a timely manner. When our movers arrived, the residence was packed, labeled, and organized by destination. They had already moved everything out that was not a part of our portion of the move. Our job was made more efficient and less costly for the client because of Meck Organizing's quality work prior to our arrival. ***** Easily 5 STARS read more

Mark and I are about to move out of our decrepit mid century home for a total gut renovation. The house is packed full of decades of stuff. The contractor requested the house to be de cluttered. Mark hired Meck for assistance organizing and purging our clutter. The ultimate goal is to purge and organize before hiring movers and PODS to remove everything and move into a rental house for six months. Sasha Ramos was assigned to our job and she was on time and was not phased by the disaster in our house. We paid her to organize and purge our kitchen. It was eye opening how much stuff ended up in the trash and recycling bins. Overall very happy with the service and we do plan to have the service back to work on the basement. read more

I would give a million stars if I could! Nancy and Joslynn made my mom's emergency move into senior living possible. Joslynn moved mountains to get my mom's 50 years of clothes organized - what to keep, give away and throw away, all the items she needed packed up and then unpacked at her new apartment, in an organized manner and Nancy and Joslynn found excellent movers at the very last minute who even did an emergency furniture pick-up for my mom. Nancy and Joslynn were extremely professional, hard-working, kind, compassionate and understanding. My family is eternally grateful to them and I can't wait to work with them more to clean out my mom's old house. I can't recommend them enough. You rarely come across people with hearts of gold who are also fantastic at what they do. Thank you Nancy and Joslynn for everything you did for my mom and family! read more

I have used Meck Organizing for a few projects. The first time was a "simple" one to declutter and organize my closet. Nancy helped me detach myself from so many pieces that I know I didn't need or really want but couldn't let go of for some reason (I.e. "I'll fit into these again", "this dress is falling apart but is sooo comfortable!"). I called her again when we were in the process of selling our house. She once again helped us declutter before we began staging our home. Who wants to box up stuff you no longer use or need? But, if it wasn't for Nancy asking all the right questions, I would most likely have a new house with a room filled with unpacked boxes. She was just as helpful during our multi-process move (staging to storage while we Air BnB'd to move day...basically, we moved twice). She handled the movers and unboxing in a way that nearly brought tears of joy to my eyes. I have moved many, many times over the years and each time has brought some element of stress. Not this time. Nancy makes moving into your new home exciting and enjoyable from day one - the way it should be. I continue to implement her amazing organizational advice, processes and systems. My closets, office, garage, arts and crafts room, etc should be in a magazine! read more

I moved from Dallas to Atlanta and started a new job. Sold two houses and bought another. Life was busy and chaotic. They really came through and organized my kitchen, office, closet and bathroom without any problems. I'd definitely use them again and I'll call sooner. read more

Nancy and her team are AWESOME! Was moving from 1 place to 2 places across the country. The organization, systems, and logic in how to best 'purge' what was no longer fitting my new lifestyle, help me think through what was needed in each location, preparing for movers, directing the movers, etc was exactly what I had hoped for! There were so many tasks and to do that having a thought partner in this 8 month process was a lifesaver and stress reducer. Oh that I had met Nancy years ago!!  Facing a move out of a house I had been in 35 years to a smaller home 7 hours away, I was overwhelmed.  Although I thought of myself as an organized person and have spent a large part of my life in project management, Nancy pointed me in the right direction.  She helped me know where to begin and what resources would be helpful.  A large move of your own personal possessions requires far more planning than one could anticipate and Nancy's help was so valuable.  It is just an extra benefit that she absolutely loves what she does and makes the entire process so very pleasant and seemingly easy.  Life is short---hire this pro ! I cannot recommend Meck Organizing enough. If you're looking into this then I assume you have a genuine need, as we did. We reached out to Meck Organizing after determining that our needs were way beyond our skill set. They have a good website and I needed some confirmation that cold calling a company would result in a positive outcome. I had a lovely initial talk with Nancy Meck and she helped me get some ideas not only on what we needed but what her company could provide. She put us in touch with the also lovely Sasha Ramos who is a local extension (contractor?) of the company. Sasha came to our home, listened to our needs and was SO adept at determining how to meet the sometimes contradicting priorities we wanted to achieve in our home. Sasha is a wonderful listener and was very respectful of our time as she went room by room to rank what was needed. I honestly can't praise Sasha and the company enough. She even talked to my fussy dogs when they whined about having a stranger in the house. Full disclosure - I haven't yet been able to implement all the fixes they prescribed. Some of the things we know we need to do involve hiring a contractor to redo one of our main spaces - BUT there were so many other smaller fixes that made a huge difference and they were completely achievable. Highly, highly recommend. This company will get you on track. read more

Nancy and Sasha were amazing. As an office manager for a Graduate Medical Education program, my directors doubted that we needed a "professional organizer" to "clean up".Boy did we make a believer out of them. They completely restructured our storage room that was a catastrophic mess before they came in and turned it around. Professionalism: Very professional, timely, and mannerable. Nancy and Sasha came ready to work and get dirty. They were on time and worked quickly and efficiently, which helped save us over $500 for a project this big.We actually came in under budget! Results: Our team was so excited to see the work that they accomplished in such a short amount of time. Our closet was detailed, labeled, and we ended up with 10x more space than what we started with. Everyone was elated and quickly acknowledged that we could not have accomplished such a task without their help! THANK YOU MECK ORGANIZING! We can't wait to partner with this company again in the future! -The GME TEAM! read more

Sasha helped my fiancé and I organize/purge a ton of our stuff before we moved from a condo to our house in the fall of 2019. I can't recommend Sasha and Nancy's whole team enough. They were quick to respond, easy to work with, and provide a ton of value - in addition to being wonderful people. We found our move-in process to be much easier with the help that Sasha provided. And she organized our kitchen and a few other spaces after move in! Definitely recommend. read more

Meck Organizing did an exceptional job helping us organize certain parts of our house after a large cross country move. Our kitchen, library, and all the kids' art supplies were perfectly placed, thoughtfully organized, and made more sense in placement than I realized could happen. The owner, Nancy is fabulous as is her staff. I wish we had known about this company at the time we started unpacking - would have been a complete game changer for our move experience, enjoyment of the new house (and our mental health). My home was a mess! Nancy and her team came in and put the disorder in order. I really learned from Meck Organinizing that you do not have to keep everything. We used them again when we moved . Nancy recommended a mover and had Amy her assistant coordinate the move. This was the best part we had organizers at the new house who put together my home. It made moving not so hectic. Loved working with Nancy on a major basement clean out project. She did an amazing job organizing what to keep, donate and review at a later time. Nancy worked behind the scenes to arrange for the pick up of the donations followed up by a junk removal partner to clear out the remaining items. We have our 3 year old daughter we're raising and my wife and I own our business. That means we are always working. Every day had become hectic and stressful. My wife and I were always frustrated with each other. We had lost balance in our lives and in our home. We finally agreed to take a weekend to reprioritize what we were doing. We hired Nancy to help us organize our house because we had lots of toys and baby clothes we wanted to get rid of. We sat down with Nancy before we began and she asked us lots questions about our business and our lifestyle. Pretty soon Nancy was going through closets, shelves, and desks. She helped us get rid of things we didn't need anymore. She helped us organize our office, our paper files and even helped us organize some of our computer files. She showed us how we could take a list of every thing we wanted to get done and then break it down into categories that we could organize on our own. By the end of the weekend our house was completely organized, our car was full of things to drop off at Goodwill (and get a tax deduction in the process!) and our systems we used in our business were fine tuned. We are so grateful to Nancy for getting us organized and back on track! Arthur Botting, Owner, La Piedra Properties read more

My daughters bought me a gift certificate from Meck Organizing to help me create a serene bedroom. I was so nervous when I booked the appointment - I didn't quite know what to expect. But Sasha made the entire experience fun - laughing over my wonderful but outdated styles, finding things I thought I had lost, and feeling confident to put more and more in the Donate pile. Sasha was efficient, knew exactly what she was doing, but so kind and fun and supportive. My closet and dresser are tidy, I can find everything, and have a system in place. I've learned so many tips on staying organized, and am excited to have Sasha back for another project! Great experience! Very professional. read more

Impressive!!!Very productive experience working with Nancy and Sasha. I had come from a background of working with another professional organizer and needed some very specific revamping. Nancy and Sasha met all my needs and re- created a practical system for filing, reworked many of the existing files and gave me practical advice for the future. I was also very touched by Nancy's professionalism and honesty. There were about 8 hours of unplanned time overage that Nancy gifted me. Wow! I'm so grateful. Both Nancy and Sasha are intelligent and capable and can easily find solutions. I also felt that Nancy is sophisticated and works in Atl and LA and has a unique approach that she brings to each project. Sasha is so easy to connect with and has a wonderful, artistic spirit. Love Meck Organizing! Nancy helped my husband and me declutter the attic. She is amazing. She is patient and encouraging. She has a way of helping you wade through the stuff you don't want and organize the things you want to keep. She provided great suggestions of where to donate items you don't want so that in the end you feel good about what you accomplished. Our attic went from total chaos to orderly. It looks amazing.
