Their estimate was higher than others we got but it became VERY clear that the difference was worth paying. The team is incredibly skilled and they were constantly checking on details I would have never even considered. They were very respectful of our space, used high-quality materials, and made sure nothing affected our HOA restrictions (as much as we wish we could replace the fence!). Betty was always in communication and easy to reach with questions, and she stopped by at several points in the process to see that everything was meeting her high standards. He installed 4 structural posts, replaced ties and repaired as needed. He is an extremely hard worker and goes above and beyond to get the job done. His bid included addressing the structural issues instead of just replacing ties at a very good bid while the other 2 contractors just wanted to replace ties and never discussed the lack of dead men/supports in one area of the wall. He cleaned up after he was done and it was left immaculate. I would highly recommend Mark and would call on him again. Very friendly and good man, one of the best contractors I've hired.

Well, Monday came and went and I heard nothing from anyone, so I called the number that was listed in his reply and left a voicemail asking for a call back to schedule an estimate or discuss further. It has now been more than a month and I still haven't heard from this company. If they are this bad at communicating from the start, I would not have high hopes for actually working with them. I was disappointed since the Yelp reviews were promising. I'm glad that others have had better experiences with Knoble Engineering and was hoping I would be able to add to their positive reviews, but unfortunately that was not the case. I first met Scott ("The Garage Dude") when I wanted to organize my mess of a garage. I'd seen one of his signs near my neighborhood and cold called, so I had no idea what to anticipate. Now, a few years later, I've lost count of the number of home projects we've worked on together. I think so highly of Scott as both a professional and a person that it's hard to find words to do it justice. He met me at a time when my child had just been diagnosed with Autism and I was trying to learn how to keep bulky occupational therapy equipment at home, and struggling to stay organized as a working mom with a young child. Later, when I downsized into a new home, Scott took on the challenge of optimizing the space and exceeded all expectations with the storage he added in our closets, the TV he mounted in the living room for maximum flexibility in the space, and the coat closet he optimized for multiple functions. Next, I've asked him to help me re-imagine my daughter's bedroom; he will build bunk beds and install lighting and a bookshelf. Scott brings a sharp mind, a meticulous eye for detail, and a good heart to every job he takes on. I've never had a single concern about his work - it has always been perfect (seriously, perfect!) And I'm so happy and comfortable working with him that he feels like family. Most importantly, Scott finds every opportunity to leave a space better than he found it, and he understands the responsibility that accompanies working with you on the parts of your home that are a mixed-up mess. I called Scott, The Garage Dude, to help with our garage. My husband and I had two different ideas of how to organize our garage and we were getting nowhere fast. I was tired of tripping over things and tired of being embarrassed every time we accidently left our garage door opened. Scott came in, looked around, asked a few questions, checked out our unfinished rooms, gave me some brief instructions and we were off. We made some piles in the garage of things I wanted to keep, donate and garbage. Within the keep piles, he broke it up into kids stuff, beach stuff, dad's stuff, etc. and he worked until everything had a place. Once we were done there we went downstairs and he really worked a miracle in the unfinished rooms. One of the rooms was so bad you could barely walk through it. Scott asked questions, moved things around in a way I would have never dreamed possible and all of a sudden there was space! He was originally supposed to be at my house for 3 hours, once we got started it was obvious that wasn't going to be long enough. He stayed from 10:00 until 5:00 working without a break to get our mess straightened out and organized. About two years ago we moved into a remodel that was not complete so we had lots of workers in and out of our house and were not able to utilize the two car garage during that time. We concentrated on finishing the house so the garage was just always a mess. I decided it was time to get the garage organized and also wanted to be able to park my car in there. I was overwhelmed by the clutter we had in there so I found The Garage Dude online and gave Scott a call. He asked me to send him pictures and then determined from my pictures I didn't have a storage problem but more of an organization issue. He offered me a 3-hour decluttering/organizing session for $295. This was done on New Year's Day and the next day he was able to come out. He quickly got to work to move all the stuff into certain piles (lawn, tools, misc...) and helped me get rid of things we did not need anymore. Then he started organizing everything and helped me label paint cans (which room the color was used for) and put things away in storage bins. We got all this done in 3 hours and I was sooooo impressed with the results. I love how neat everything is and am so glad to be able to park my car in the garage. We had collected an overwhelming amount of junk that had taken up space in the garage for over 20 years. Cleaning out the garage was a dreaded, monumental chore for us. Scott came in and effortlessly worked his magic. Within 5 hours everything was sorted, organized, discarded, donated, or prepared for shredding. He even had a truck come and discard our mountain of trash. We are so relieved that we have this nightmare behind us. And, not only are we in a better place, but this whole experience motivated us. When Scott arrived at our house, we had "stuff" in our garage that we had collected over 10 years. More cleaning products than we knew we owned, numerous gardening tools that we had not use in recent years, pictures and other sentimental memorabilia that had been overlooked and forgotten, more Tupperware containers than any two people should ever own, and much, much more. Scott began by explaining the process, how we would work together to accomplish the goal of decluttering, and then we began the task. We created three piles: keep, charity, and trash. It actually makes me excited to open my garage when I get home and see everything so organized. We have 3 young children and no basement, so we needed to maximize every inch of our 2 car garage so it could accommodate our 2 cars, 2 strollers, extra car seats, several bikes, kids toys & sports equipment, lawn mower, PLUS all the normal items you find in a garage such as tools, blower, gardening items, etc. Scott Saffran, owner, came up with a wonderful design and then installed it per the plan, including putting everything back in its (new!) organized place. The reason I am only giving 2 stars is due to the experience afterwards. Davit promised us to come back to fix any bulging or squeaky spots, but he has never done that. We have several spots making squeaky noise when stepping on it. Not only does it sound annoying, but also wakes up the baby (which takes significant effort to make him sleep again...). We called Davit and left messages several times, but he never responded. Not sure if he is avoiding responding intentionally, or it's just some miscommunication here. Hope to hear from them soon!

I reviewed with Andrew my "drawing" that I had done and we sat down with each area and talked through what could work and what might be a challenge. Andrew is very creative and also so easy to work with. And he was VERY patient with me, working with me when I had to be out of town, and I totally trusted him to do the right thing with the smaller items, but for the larger items, he was willing to rearrange his schedule with other projects to allow for me to be here when he handled the them. (I know that wasn't easy on him!) He does almost all the work himself, and is very precise, with great attention to detail, very trustworthy and highly professional. I have referred him to a number of our neighbors - and always happy to give him a good recommendation to anyone who is interested in hearing more! Our deck is picture # 3 in his photo library, but as soon as spring comes, check back for some GREAT pictures!) He is extremely reliable, works quickly but he pays attention to detail and doesn't cut corners. You can tell by the quality of work he does he cares about the job and the people he is working for. We will definitely hire him again, I highly recommend. I didn't think to take pictures when I visited the house but hopefully I can add them later. On a personal note we haven't had great experience in the past with this sort of work. People never seem to care about the work they do and cut corners whenever they can. Andrew didn't do this, he cares about the work he does and is a pleasure to work with. Thank you!!!

I need a garage to be built. I reached out, they asked for pictures of what I needed, I sent pics and they promised to get back to me with an estimate. 3 weeks later I asked if I could make an appointment and the response "I'll see if someone can come by" 2weeks ago is a blowoff if I've ever had one. So maybe their work is ok but organization and responsiveness is not good.

Let's talk about the light: It's hanging from a 9 foot ceiling in the stairwell . Jonathan arrived prepared with the right sized ladder and fixed the problem with ease. Oh, he also secured my dishwasher so it wouldn't keep sliding out of it's area whenever I use it. While he was working, I started making a mental list of things I will have him come back to do. Jonathan is also very friendly and shared with me homeowner tips about things I did not know prior. I looking forward to hiring Jonathan again to handle my to do list .
