I wish we would've done this a lot sooner than we did. Scott was literally a savior for our garage. His process was thorough from beginning to end. When I first reached out to Scott, he informed me of how the process for garage organization works and was very communicative with me throughout the entire process. He first came over to evaluate our garage and to further understand our needs. He asked great questions, such as what do we store, side of the garage we park on (truly important for mommies) and other questions that I honestly hadn't put too much thought into. Based on my feedback he then went back and created a proposed plan for our garage. As soon as I opened the file, I immediately fell in love with it! He recommended going into the garage and holding up the plan to get a feel for it, along with living with that for a few days before moving forward because my husband and I may have discovered other elements we wanted added. We went with Scott'a proposal and he quickly worked us into his schedule. He showed up on the job at the time promised and immediately got into action. So as you can see from the pictures, our garage was a complete mess. My husband and I could only fit one car in the garage. We existed like that for years, but when I bought a new, nice car, I became increasingly nervous about hitting his car when I pulled out. So I searched high and low for someone who could clean my garage out. The Garage Dude was the answer to my prayers. We initially spoke over the phone, I described my situation and sent pics. He gave me a price for the job, which he estimated would take 3 hours. As he did the job, he'd call me outside to take a look at some of our "trash" occasionally, to make sure it was actually trash, or things we wanted to save. What we wanted, he was able to arrange nicely and neatly in the garage space. When he was done, we could actually park both cars in our 2 car garage. It's been a few months since the job, and my husband recently commented that getting the garage cleaned out was the best thing we have done to our house in the 5 years we have lived here. One BIG thing to note, however, is how much it could be to remove all the trash from the yard. Trash removal is a separate service and a completely different company. I don't think I really understood this before the job. Not sure if I missed it, or if the Garage Dude didn't tell me. It actually cost MORE to remove the trash than for the actual job. That put a slight damper on the entire experience, but only slight, because every time I look at my clean garage and two cars parked inside, I get giddy with happiness. And the amount to money to remove all the trash is actually somewhat of a deterrent for cluttering the garage again. Also, on a good note, the trash removal people were quick, efficient, and very nice. So I really did get over it. But just know going in that you will have to pay more than just the amount to the Garage Dude. Bottom line - I highly recommend the Garage Dude!!! read more

Let me start by saying, I don't write reviews... makes my thumbs hurt and most are extremely biased based on a specific experience... take what I say with a grain of salt, but my experience with the garage dude was the single greatest service experience I've had over the past few years... hyperbole aside, the garage dude was professional, timely and communicative... his pricing was fair, and the final product was better than described... he arrived on time, took very limited breaks and was done almost an hour earlier than estimated... I went with the race deck tile flooring system that was chosen over epoxy flooring due to the floating floor nature of the product and the versatility to adjust design/sit atop the garage floor instead of being prone to cracks as my new construction concrete garage floor settles... the system interlocks with other tiles, but does require cutting near the edges to make it fit the space... The garage dude came to the house to show samples of the product, take measurements and discuss design aesthetic... after meeting for about 30mins, he followed up with a drawing of the design that I was asked to approve prior to the work beginning... he was back at the house within 2 weeks to begin the 6-hour project and completed it with time to spare... cost was very reasonable and he even checked in a few days later to see if there were any issues... he even returned about a week later to adjust the parking pads I asked be installed as the distance to the garage wall was a bit close... Final product looks awesome and it helps the lady of the house avoid smacking into the garage wall when parking... that said, the best part in the whole process was the garage dude himself... His will be the first number I dial when I'm ready to install a garage storage solution... I have zero qualms employing the garage dude for all my future garage storage/design needs... Now, if only he did electrical work... read more
