I wish I had more of an experience to share. I reached out through Yelp asking for an estimate on a retaining wall project for my house. I got a prompt reply from someone named Chad, which was promising since he was so quick to respond and let me know that he could call me on Monday to discuss (this was a Friday) or I could call their office. I thanked him for his quick response, gave him my contact information, and told him I looked forward to hearing from him on Monday. Well, Monday came and went and I heard nothing from anyone, so I called the number that was listed in his reply and left a voicemail asking for a call back to schedule an estimate or discuss further. It has now been more than a month and I still haven't heard from this company. If they are this bad at communicating from the start, I would not have high hopes for actually working with them. I was disappointed since the Yelp reviews were promising. I'm glad that others have had better experiences with Knoble Engineering and was hoping I would be able to add to their positive reviews, but unfortunately that was not the case. I don't feel it makes sense for me to chase someone that I am trying to give my business to. Luckily, I found another engineer for my project that has been far more responsive. read more

I had a short notice request and Josh and Chad were able to fill my request for a structural inspection out in Villa Rica. Their second look inspection on my potential home purchased help identify a fair amount of issue that allowed for a significant price reduction on the home. They did an outstanding detailed job and explained everything very plainly. I would highly recommend them for any inspection needs or structural engineering design/support. read more

The guys over at Knoble helped us with a foundation and retaining wall inspection of our newly purchased home. We knew we were getting our hands on a fixer-upper and all the woes that it comes with, so we decided to first thing first: ensure our foundation was healthy and had Chad come out for a full inspection. Chad was thorough and provided a full report of the issues he identified and the possible solutions. He also gave us estimates for those solutions. Luckily most of our issues were benign but still, we decided to go with an ounce of prevention to ensure our foundation was supported. Chad had his guy come out to have a strap installed to the home with a weeks lead time. The strap was on in a few hours. Everything went well and the services were well priced. Tornado destroyed our home in July of '23. I hired an Engineering Firm to handle inspections for the structure throughout the construction. This firm quit after a re-inspection. I found Chad at Knoble Engineering and explained the issues we were encountering. He was straight forward and quickly scheduled an inspection. Chad came to the home and did a thorough inspection and said he would complete a report and forward it to me. What seemed like no time at all Chad had the report completed and confirmed our fears of a poor attempt at construction by the Contractors. Chad communicated with the Contractors and their Engineering firm over issues that he discovered. Both the Contractors and the Engineer agreed with Chads assessment. During this ordeal I dealt with 3 Engineering Firms. Out of the 3, Chad and Knoble Engineering completed a more detailed report to include remedies, Communicated with all parties and gave assurances they, Knoble Engineering, would be an active partner in ensuring this project adhered to code and was built in a sound manner. I wish I had Chad and Knoble Engineering here to begin with. I cannot stress enough how impressed I am by his work. read more

After some communication snafus, Chad and team did a great job with repairs to my attic rafters and fortifying my floor joists. They were a great crew and left my house in good repair. They also did a great job cleaning up after themselves as well. I would recommend them. read more
