It is so rare to find a contractor that is reliable and does good work. Eric and Salazar Masonry fit that bill perfectly. I could not recommend them enough. Wonderful work all around. From quoting the project, starting on time, working long, hot days, finishing early and providing me with every receipt and credit. Eric is thorough! I highly recommend. read more

Salazar Masonry was the FIFTH mason that i reached out to for a quote for a brick repair on my house. The other four basically said that my job was too small (half day). The first thing i noticed, Eric has great communication. In constant contact, fast replies , it was noticed and appreciated. We exchanged some texts and photos, he emailed me a quote. He came out on a Saturday to match the mortar and look at the job. He was over a week later to do it. The work exceeded my expectations. He was fast and the repair is seamless. You'd never know that it was damaged brick face just a week earlier. I've saved his number in my phone and put his card with other important business cards. I'd hire him again in a second. read more

In my experience, there were seemingly very few brick masons completing projects independently. This was absolutely critical to me as I was buying the 1916 home in a booming Southern downtown district. Critical because my lender required masonry work be completed on the exterior part of the fireplace expanding the 20+ feet. f home I wanted. Eric Salazar, owner of Salazar Masonry has a high level of integrity - he did exaxtly what he said he will do when he said he would do it for the price he promised, which since this was unexpected was likewise critical. Salazar Masonry is a quality professional, honest, professional, and courteous. read more

We needed an old, brick retaining wall to be rebuilt as it was starting to fall apart. I learned that drainage holes were never installed and thus it was finally at a point of failing. Eric was recommended by neighbors who had successful work done my him and his crew. Eric is professional, punctual and consistent. The work and clean up was exceptional. They rebuilt the wall and put the proper netting, drainage and bricks in place. My plants were protected as well. I need repainting but I am attaching some proof of great work. We also needed some brick repair on a front yard wall and that was handled nicely as well. read more

Salazar Masonry Services - The wall status before Eric and his team went to work. - Stonemasons Near Me

I can't say enough good about this company. Eric and his team were amazing. The front stairs in our home were detaching from the house and starting to cause issues. These guys came in and in a days time had everything torn out. The old stairs hardly had a foundation; no wonder they were falling down. The finished product is amazing!! Very strong foundation. Wonderful construction. These stairs will last forever! Their masonry work is beautiful. But not only was their work exceptional, they did so many other things from putting the extras dirt in places where we needed it and then smoothing it out. They even helped me bring the garbage cans in from the street. And they were great men. If you need any masonry work done, you will not find a better company out group of men!!! read more

We were left high and dry from another company when they demoed our previous retaining wall, then half built a replacement wall. This was in ~2020. After several years, I got up the nerve to look up contractors who were willing to finish it for us. I'm so thankful to have found Eric and his company, Salazar Masonry Service. Eric was very responsive from the get go. He was thorough in explaining the process and what was needed to complete the job...and then some! Eric's communication was awesome from the first time I reached out. He was professional, friendly, and professional. He let me know the morning of when he was on his way and progress getting here (his commute was 90 minutes away). I got a quote for material and he offered to call and get a better price and then I called in to pay for it. What a kind gesture! He and his crew were timely and efficient. Eric explained the process and showed us what he was going to do. When he ran out of material, he got more and when he charged us for the material and trip, he didn't price gouge. He showed us the receipt for the additional materials and that is what we paid. We couldn't be more happy with job and Eric's professionalism. He is an artist in his craft and what contractors should be: honest! The retaining wall looks amazing and we're thankful that the 5 year chapter of the wall is closed! Pictures to follow! read more

Eric replaced some tile that was removed and broken when we had to have our garden tub replaced. He also did some touchup grout work on two showers in the house. Not only did he do a great job but he was a pleasure to work with. He was quick to get back with me to set up an appointment to come out and look at the job before giving me a quote. His price was reasonable, and he was very responsive and clear in his communications. He was careful to source the correct materials, clean old grout off old tiles to be reused, and added a solid base and waterproofing that was omitted when the old tub was first installed. He obviously cares about the quality of the work that he does and goes the extra mile to make sure things are done right. I highly recommend him and I would certainly use him again if needed. read more

These guys did an excellent job rebuilding the top part of my natural stone fireplace in a new home purchase, that was pulling away from the wall due to poor bracing. They pulled the rocks down and built them back up. Was a 12-hour job, 9am-9pm. They also sealed some cracks and repaired a stone on the outside chimney. Overall, worked hard all day, and the results were great! Would recommend. read more

Salazar Masonry Services did a great job fixing our old, collapsing retaining wall! Eric was very helpful and communicative during the entire process. He delivered an estimate that outlined what work work would be done, and then completed the project with his team in two days. The price was reasonable and more specific than other rough estimates that we got. We're very happy with the results you can see in the pictures. read more

These guys were booked solid, but managed to get my smaller job done. I have a 30 yr old Townhome, some of my front step tiles had cracked. They managed to blend in new tiles w/30 year old tiles seamlessly!! I have about five or six neighbors that grabbed their card. Highly recommend! read more

The company replied to me that they do not perform masonry or brick repair services, contradicting their list of services performed. I took them at their word and chose another company. read more

These guys did what other companies wouldn't touch. Great job on a difficult dig out and install of a retaining wall to support some house foundation issues. Did it on time and on budget, and looks great. We have a great looking retaining wall next to an old house now . kept things neat. I only wish I had another project ready for Gonzalo. Really appreciate the texts and email to communicate. The cost was what I was hoping to pay, I'm sure much less than the large corporate guys. read more
