Driveway plus was a terrible company to work with. They poured our driveway in two different colors after repairing the original new pour which cracked in a matter of weeks. The mismatch in color is obvious and their manager told us if we wanted to send it off to a lab to test against the first pour we would be wrong that it was two different colors. Well we did get the orders back and they were in fact two different formulas. after the manager Ray came to my house and challenged me in person I have no respect for this company. Everything started great with Driveway Plus but recently I have had a very disappointing experience. They started my driveway project but did not finish it, and now the surface is beginning to crumble and spald after only a few months and it has lots of discoloration and is very gravely. I have been trying to reach them for the past three months to address these issues, they have responded but haven't shown up or made a plan to fix it after a few promises to be there. I am looking to get my wooden porch and steps replaced with cinder block porch and steps with a stone veneer or done in bricks. I reached out to Driveway Plus to get a quote. They didn't respond to say when they'd be heading our way. A few days later I notice a young man on my porch taking measurements and asked him who he was. He let me know he was from Driveway Plus and to text the quote in 48-72 hours. Great! We heard great things so I was looking forward to it. I received the quote via email...and it was over $3000 more than the other 2 quotes I'd received from two reputable companies. They didn't call, they didn't discuss options for what I wanted done, they didn't provide a quote for stone and a separate one for brick option, no cost breakdown or material cost and labor breakdown. They simply threw a number and it's not the way to do business. If you're asking a customer to pay nearly $10,000 for an item, be ready to demonstrate the value so we feel comfortable investing. Note to folks looking to get work done (from home projects to mechanical work to literally any time you're hiring someone to do a job for you or fix something for you): a professional quote should include an itemized breakdown of materials needed, the cost and then labor. This way the customer knows exactly what they are paying for and they know they are being charged fairly. This is basic business. I had somewhere between 10-15 quotes generated for this project. Driveway Plus was the most reputable and also one of the cheaper quotes generated. I've had the concrete block retaining wall and poured patio a few weeks now with no regrets. A third party came out for an unofficial inspection and said the wall looked basically lawless. The patio drains just as they said it would and the sidewalk area also poured for the AC units looks awesome. The price didn't change at all from the time of the first quote to project finish. I had concerns about the grading around the wall after completion and Ray came back out with his crew that week to help me out no questions asked. I have already passed his info around to several friends / neighbors and will absolutely have him back out for the driveway next year. Most reputable, best price, & exceptional quality. I contacted Driveway Plus after receiving a great recommendation from a friend. I completed the online request for a quote and an agent came to my house. I received a quote a few days later. Since then, I have been ghosted. I sent three emails to obtain more information and hopefully schedule the work ($4,000+ so you would think they were interested). No reply to the first two. Crickets. The third - where I said I would gladly give my thousands of dollars to another company - elicited a reply that they would get their agent to contact me that day. Nope. I would love to leave a positive review for Driveway Plus & Design, but they cannot even make it out to make an appointment for an estimate. After an online request, I was hopeful as they called me back (Ray) the next day and set a time (11am) that Friday to come out and provide an estimate. Friday comes and after waiting until 3:30pm I call Ray asking if he is still going to make it. I get a story about his truck having problems and he was on his way. So, first question: you can't call to let me know?? (evidently customer courtesy calls are not part of the business) That aside, after telling me he's on his way he then tells me to expect him in the next 1.5 hours. Evidently he's NOT on his way then. When I ask if he's on the way or an hour and a half out he says he doesn't even know where I'm at and didn't have me listed. As the story changes, it becomes obvious we were never going to have anyone show up for an estimate. Already got 2 other companies coming by. Based on the Yelp ratings, thought Driveway Plus would be the obvious choice. First impressions are everything, and people vote with their wallets. After waiting around all day and having Ray give me different answers ('on the way'....to 'an hour and a half out' to 'not sure where you are I don't have my list'), I let Ray know it seemed a better choice to not use Driveway Plus or even get an estimate if the day/time promised to show wasn't going to even be attempted or honored by the company. We'll pay our hard-earned money to other service providers. read more

By far one of the best experiences and customer service! Sam is awesome and an asset to Driveway Plus! I had called 3 companies in late February for estimates to fix my driveway . One company responded very quickly, Driveway Plus responded 2nd, the other responded but didn't communicate any further after, and another got busy and forgot about me. 2 came out the first response and Sam from Driveway plus. The first estimate was cheaper, and I went with them. ( I don't want to put their name out there). Well, I excepted the bid an waited on a start date.... That never came after 2 emails. While traveling, I got a call from Sam who was actually reaching out to a different client of theirs, but called me by mistake. I talked to him told him what happened with the other bid and ended up going with DWP! My start date got pushed back even further bc of a shortage in cement for the concrete. Sam didn't know when it would come in, but I chose to stick with him bc of his excellent communication and just felt he was a man of integrity! I'm glad I did, my driveway looks so good and Sam went the extra mile to take pictures and video before, during and after as I was traveling at the time the job was done! Our driveway has a needed repair for quite a while. It was old and it needed repair about 10 years ago. We had it done then But the repair job as good as it was way back then was not good enough to withstand all of the rains that we have had in Atlanta this summer. I looked up driveway plus online and got them to come out and they gave me an immediate quote and clearly new their stuff. I know a little bit about sand gravel and concrete and when they gave me the price I was astonished at how good it was especially considering the market right now. Their advice was extremely professional and it was clear that both of the young man quoting it and the owner, who do personally came out to check out the job before it began, new there's stuff and gave solid advice When the when they started the job they sent out a large crew which got the job done within a half a day. I was expecting at least 3/4 if not a full day. Without adding extra pricing to their quote, they added extra crusher run to the base and even added a little bit extra concrete to make it thick enough just to make sure that they do not have to do the job again. I watch them as they smooth the concrete out and I have never seen such excellent work. Their folks were nice and professional and we were glad to have them in the neighborhood. I am about to retire and it looks like that driveway will be around for many, many years. I hope I never have to use them again, Simply because of the nature of dealing with a driveway, but anybody that needs a driveway repaired or wants a new concrete driveway, these guys are absolutely the best. read more

We had a portion of our large driveway that was damaged due to some roots from a nearby tree, that had gotten worse after we needed a dumpster for some exterior work on our home. We contacted Driveway Plus for an estimate on how much it would cost to repair. They provided free estimates for multiple options at our request: just fixing the damaged spot, replacing the damaged spot plus a larger section of the driveway that had cracks, and replacing the whole driveway and parking pad. We decided to go with the middle option, and they told us they were booked 6-8 weeks out, but that they would contact us closer to the time to settle on an exact date. However, they had an opening become available about 2-3 weeks later and were able to move us up. The work began early in the morning (around 8) and was quite loud, but the work was done well and looks great. One thing to know in advance is that you can't walk on the fresh concrete for 24-48 hours, and you cannot drive on it for 5 full days. A day or so after the work was completed, Tyler came back to our home to complete a "walkthrough" and to answer our questions. They also sent a worker back to pressure wash the area to remove the residual dust & such. Overall, a great experience and would recommend. Our driveway looks great and most importantly, is smooth and doesn't scrape the bottom of our vehicles anymore! read more

My carport was sinking, the retaining wall crumbling, and the driveway was cracked. My experience with Driveway Plus was great. Ray and his team were responsive, professional, and pleasant. Removal, replacement and clean-up was efficient, and the results are amazing. I had siding replaced after the driveway replacement, and the installed flashing was narrower than the original flashing. Driveway Plus came back to patch the area under the flashing at no additional charge. I got multiple estimates for the job.
