Sudlow Concrete poured a new driveway for one of our neighbors and they highly recommended the company. We needed driveway repair and a walkway replacement. We contacted their office, they had a professional out within a couple of days to quote the job, offering two options for our consideration - both at a fair price. The Sudlow team did an amazing job on our driveway project. Their crew was quick, efficient and professional. I highly recommend Sudlow Concrete! read more

I own Brilliance Photography and have worked with Sudlow Concrete on a number of projects over the years. I felt compelled to write this review because my experience with their company has been consistently outstanding. On every project I've filmed or photographed for Sudlow Concrete, the customer testimonials have been completely genuine and unscripted. In most cases, they only require one take because the clients are so enthusiastic about sharing their experience. Customers repeatedly praise their professionalism, respectfulness, ability to complete projects on time, and the exceptional quality of the final product -- often exceeding expectations. What makes this especially meaningful is that I was never asked to write this review. After more than 25 years in marketing photography and video production, working with countless companies and contractors, I can honestly say I've never seen such consistently positive customer feedback. That level of customer satisfaction speaks volumes about the integrity and quality of Sudlow Concrete and the way they do business. Bob Hughes Brilliance Photography and Drone Roswell, GA read more

I just had mt steep driveway replaced by Sudlow Concrete. While I was very happy with the quality and craftsmanship, I was uncomfortable with the sudden extra charge needed for a pump truck due to the steepness of the driveway. My advice is to make sure up front that everything is included already in the price. The workers were prompt, professional, and very skilled. The driveway was in really bad shape and I'm glad the work came out so well. read more

We hired Sudlow Concrete to pour three slabs and two gate pillars on our property and couldn't be happier. After contacting a dozen companies, they were the only ones that showed up, and kept their word from proposal to completion. The team was professional, experienced, and a pleasure to work with. They cleaned up thoroughly and left the property extremely tidy. The finished work looks excellent -- we're very pleased and highly recommend Sudlow Concrete. read more

Sharing my review of Sudlow Concrete in Tucker for driveway and walkway replacement Beyond thrilled, from start to finish! Bill Sudlow and his team had wonderful communication and project execution. This has been the best home improvement project I've had. The work on my driveway and walkway was completed even better than expected and Bill personally gave me an estimate, was there the morning of install and called to check on my satisfaction. They even angled certain areas to help with water flow. The pictures are from the morning after install. I can't recommend Sudlow Concrete and their team enough!! read more

I asked for a quote on a relatively small patch job. I was pleasantly surprised that Bill Sudlow himself came out to asses the situation - a crack in my patio that I thought might be the source of the water intrusion in my basement. Moreover still, Bill has experience in leak remediation. We discussed and while he recommended a whole patio replacement, we were able to agree on a stop-gap measure that I was very happy with and which fit my budget. I sincerely appreciate his willingness to take on a small job, one which has solved the problem and which was completed in one day ahead of predicted rain. Bill's willingness to work with me with my current budget has allowed me to plan ahead for the patio replacement and a new driveway, two jobs I will look to Sudlow to execute. I highly recommend this company! read more

Sudlow replaced my driveway; crew showed up at 7:30 am and quickly began working. Did a great job and cleaned up extremely well. Very little impact on adjoining yard or landscaping. Highly recommend! read more

Positive experience from start to finish! Getting a quote was easy, scheduling was seamless, and the work itself exceeded my expectations. The crew arrived right on time (even a little early) and took the time to walk me through the entire process. Despite some rain, the project stayed on track and was completed smoothly. The finished product looks fantastic, and the crew did an excellent job cleaning up both my yard and the street afterward. I would definitely recommend them! read more

We've used Sudlow Concrete for multiple jobs at our house, both for driveway repair and to resurface a portion of our garage. They've been easy to work with and efficient in getting the work done. Great experience. Nice workers who showed up and knocked out our driveway in 2 days. Would highly recommend this company and crew.

I had my driveway replaced by Sudlow 2 years ago. I waited to post a review until now to see how their poor workmanship would hold up. Well it didn't. Like others have posted, Bill does not stand by his work which is understandable since the work they do is subpar at best. His crew showed up and demo'd the old driveway, spent probably 5 minutes trying to level the ground because the concrete truck had already been sitting there for 35 minutes. As they started pouring the concrete, I asked when they were going to put down the rebar that was sitting on my lawn. They didn't speak English and basically just blew me off. So, I tried to call Bill to have them stop pouring until the rebar was put down. I was unable to reach Bill, so I called their office and spoke to his partner Aaron about it. He didn't seem to care either. So I went back outside to try and talk to the crew about the rebar. That's when they picked up the rebar, slapped it onto the wet concrete and then walked on it to push it down into the concrete! On top of that, the second concrete truck had pulled up early and was sitting there for 2 hours before they poured. So, now I have two different colors (shades) on my driveway. Bill finally came out to the house and told me the entire driveway would look the same after a period of time. It's been 2 years and it's still two shades and the surface is already chipping/flaking. To me, Bill is not professional and does not care about his work and likes to threaten when you question the work. I would stay away from Sudlow concrete. read more

My new driveway is still drying, but I can say that so far everything has been great. With my first contact with the estimator, I was impressed with his assessment of the situation and proposed solution. The price given was fair. The work crew arrived on time and worked hard. They were friendly and respectful of our property and did excellent work. The team leader, Jorge, communicated well with us and checked in often to make sure we were on the same page and our preferences were followed. The crew cleaned everything up nicely. Throughout the entire process, the office staff were pleasant and responsive and Bill Sudlow checked in to make sure we were happy. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and neighbors. read more

Bill Sudlow came out shortly after I requested an estimate. He was very helpful in explaining what the process entailed and explained structural reinforcements that would be added. He told me he'd send me a quote within the hour. I received his quote 10 minutes later and soon signed paperwork to allow work to begin. His office staff was friendly and helpful and also explained the process to me. Demo on Thursday, pour on Friday. The crew was punctual, friendly, and obviously very skilled at their jobs. We couldn't be happier with our new driveway. I would gladly recommend Sudlow Concrete to all my family and friends. Also, as an aside, I received two other quotes. While price was similar, there was no comparison as to the details Bill explained to me and the personal responsibility he took to be sure every job was one that ended with a very satisfied customer. It was a no-brainer for me to choose Sudlow. read more

Sudlow Concrete shows up and digs the footings 9 inches off the property line and had to fill it in and re-dig and charge me $3500 to do it. Someone needs to teach him how to read proper drawings and use a tape measure proper. Then the owner Bill Sudlow shows up to my house and tells me to shut up in front of my mom my best friends and all of the contractors subcontractors. The most unprofessional thing I've ever been a part of for $40,000. They quoted it as a two phase job based on how materials would come in but sold it as a one invoice job which is 95% of all concrete jobs. You get paid when you finish. The job took a little bit longer than expected due to permitting Cobb County so Sudlow decided with no warning no invoices no certified letter not one email or phone call asking for payment for the portion that had already been done for $29,000 put a mechanics lien on my home and again walked off the job.The job is halfway finished and I have a lien on my home that makes it look like I don't pay my bills and that is not the case. was on the job one week before they pulled the lien and I was on the phone with his office manager who told me she was leaving for a death in the family and that she would contact me to schedule the second half when she got back. did I know she didn't have the respect or business courtesy to just ask for payment instead she put a mechanics lien on me. If you wanna pay someone $40,000 and be told to shut up and have a mechanics lien on your property and don't know how to read a tape measure. This is your company. read more

We needed a small patio area between our kitchen and our garage. About 45 minutes after the concrete was poured it began to storm. Water and mud washed down into the patio area. Company sent men to install a grate and an underground pipe. It did not work. The next rain caused the same flooding. Company sent different men and they removed the pipe and grate. Flooding next rain was not as bad but still occurred. Company sent men to build a very small retaining wall. No more flooding. Patio was dirty and not level. Power washing by yet another man has left the patio still dirty and marked. It is bad. I am so frustrated! read more

I contracted with Sudlow for a stamped patio that was 200 square feet and two steps. When the crew arrived they told me they had 16x12 and two steps. That is 192 sq ft. They told me I didn't need the steps. I then told them could they just add one foot to each side of the width in lieu of the steps. They called the office and said that would be $600. Though I thought that was high given the fact I paid for 200 square feet and two stairs I agreed to pay it. I left and returned at the end of the day. We paid for the cost of the project though the project was not to be completed until the following day. The job foreman wanted to show me the stairs were needed. I agreed and said the height made it dangerous. He said they could come back the next day to address it but they needed to check with the owner. He called Mike Sudlow on his cell. The guy was a complete ass. He asked me what did I want him to do about it. He said it was too late. I told him I left and when I came home the foreman pointed it out. I said I didn't expect the patio to be 18 inches off the ground and I relied on his crew to make sound construction decision. He was upset that he was called at 6 pm. He complained about the call. I was not interested in his disrespectful tone and told him I just needed a solution and a price to fix it. He told me to put his Forman back on the phone. They spoke in spanish. He didn't know I spoke spanish. He called me ignorant during his discussion because I wanted steps added and he didn't think the subsequent pouring would match. After they concluded the discussion the foreman said he would call me the following day. I then let him know I understood the conversation and he called me ignorant. The foreman was embarrassed and tried to downplay it. I never heard from Sudlow the next day. Given his attitude I didn't expect it. He is the owner and absolutely doesn't give a damn about customer service. He is rude and is a complete ass. Use Sudlow at your own risk. The warranty and customer service me a nothing. No wonder their reviews average a 3.3. read more

I hired them to do a stamped concrete porch and it didn't come out great. First, the porch has lots of crusting cracks that Sudlow claims they cannot repair. I have added an example of the crusting cracks. Second, they embedded a wood step in the concrete without telling me. When they agreed to do a patch to fix it, they did a really unprofessional-looking job. A picture of the patch is attached. I would not hire them again. I am still looking for someone to come repair the work they did. read more

Bill Sudlow and the team at Sudlow Concrete did an amazing job for us. In February, after 23 years of looking at the same old beat-up driveway, we finally decided that it was time to pour a new one. We heard about the quality work done by Sudlow here in the Spalding Corners subdivision of homes and decided to request a new quote. Within just a few days, Aaron Sudlow was out to the house to have a look at our project. He was very experienced with some great recommendations on final design, and had a very competitive quote ready same day. Our policy with larger projects is to always, always get at least three reputable companies to bid each job. In this case after four, we felt most confident with the team at Sudlow to do the job right the first time. Within just a few weeks we were scheduled to start. Our current driveway and front walk is about 1,500 square feet, Sudlow's A-team had that removed by mid-day, and we were on to pour new (4000 psi w/ fiber and rebar) concrete that afternoon. It was a long day, but the team managed to finish that evening. We noticed just one small issue on the 'leading edge' of the new "lip" area near the merge with our street that needed a bit more work. Bill had one of his team familiar with the job come back out and make it right the very next day. So we are extremely happy with the results. And it's really helped to improve for our home's overall curb appeal. We would highly recommend Bill Sudlow and the Team at Sudlow Concrete for your project! Hired this company over a year ago. Never held up to our terms of contract and the supplies that we were to pay for never were installed. Corners were cut and the owner was never at the site. Owner refused to redo section and protect the concrete already done. They never hold true to their warranty. Run!!!! read more

Just had driveway replaced by the Sudlow team and can't say enough good things. Price was very reasonable for concrete. Our driveway was in terrible shape but we really didn't want to spend the money. I am so glad we did now. It looks so much better. My first experience was with the co-owner, Aaron, who was excellent. The work the crew performed at my home was A-rated. Therefore, I didn't hesitate with my decision to call them back again for an estimate of additional work. UNFORTUNATELY, my experience this time was with the owner, William Sudlow. I was standing in my driveway when he arrived. I was shocked how he approached me as a new customer who just spent $$$ with him. He got out of his truck with a stern voice, "how can I help you?" I guess I was expecting a good morning, hello, looks like my guys did a good job, or something other than an irritating voice like I was a problem. When I asked him for a quote about removing some dirt and building a retaining wall, he exact words, "this is an inconvenience, you should had this done when we were out here." I didn't have a chance to tell him I was waiting on my property to be surveyed before I could build the retaining wall. I also asked for an estimate to replace my patio. His comment, "once again this is another inconvenience!" Finally, he left and said he would send me an estimate. A total of five minutes of his time at my residence. As a business owner myself, I was shocked to be treated this way. Needless to say, that's been almost two weeks ago and I haven't received any estimate which I'm not surprised about. Keep your estimate at this point, Mr. Sudlow. I just hope you treat your employees, who did a fantastic job, better than the way I was treated. For potential customers, request Aaron if you want a professional at your residence or place of business. Sudlow Concrete would be best served if the owner retires and allows Aaron and Kristi to take over the operation. It's unfortunate the original owner does not match the quality of workmanship I received. Dr. Ryans read more

We had a great experience with Sudlow Concrete for a full driveway and carport replacement and repair. I used Sudlow to replace my drive which had several large cracks and was in need of replacement. The price seemed fair and others in the neighborhood were using Sudlow as well so I agreed to join a few neighbors to have them do several driveways on our street for a small discount. Bottom line, my drive has many hairline cracks that resemble the look of a shattered piece of glass. Apparently this is caused "crazing" and can be caused by a number of things. Sudlow has assured me that this does not harm the durability of the driveway. However my driveway literally looks like it has hundreds of small hairline cracks. This does not look like a new driveway and aesthetically will not enhance the appearance like I had planned a new driveway would. I have posted some pictures. Bottom line, the final product is less than acceptible in my view. read more

Bill Sudlow saved me thousands of dollars. Previously, his team did a beautiful job creating a new brick-trimmed walkway and brick steps in February 2023. On 23 June 2023, he came back to give and estimate on repairing our brick stoop as it needs tuckpointing. Bill gave us his frank and honest assessment with three options from highest to lowest cost and the pro's and con's of each. He closed by stating that I could do the work myself with about $100 worth of materials from "big box" home supplier. While this option wouldn't yield any profit for him, nevertheless Bill was quite upfront with his assessment. Sudlow Concrete will continue to get my business. read more

After my new concrete driveway and front walkway were completed and I had paid in full for the work, I had an issue with my yard next to the intersection of the two items mentioned above. Bottom line, you can trust Sudlow Concrete because they stand behind their work and want to make sure each and every customer is totally satisfied with their job. I would highly recommend Sudlow Concrete to anyone in need of a new driveway and front walkway. read more

WARNING: DO NOT USE SUDLOW CONCRETE AT ANY COST For a start, I would say that all you have to do is sort the reviews by year, and you will see Sudlow Concrete is getting worse over time. I summarize my own complaints, as follows: I'm going to overlook that Sudlow cut a cable and split a tree in half without having the common courtesy to tell us. They installed the driveway incorrectly at the apron so that it has altered the flow of the street drainage, resulting in a large area of water and ice across the street, even days after rain. A safety hazard has been created as a result, for drivers and pedestrians as there are no sidewalks. There is permanent standing water by my mailbox, which can turn to ice, even days after rain, creating a safety hazard. My wife has already slipped on the ice. I will include photos, because photos don't lie and Sudlow has already dismissed my complaints. Mr Sudlow called me immediately after work on the driveway was completed, urging for me to immediately pay and write reviews, but he has never bothered to call me or return calls when I reported problems, nearly two weeks later. The co-owner of the company made it clear that he did not care that there were problems with the driveway and blamed "the weather" and "the street" for the problems created by Sudlow Concrete. He made these claims without even seeing the driveway. If this isn't an example of the worst possible customer service imaginable, and a callous disregard for public safety, what is? read more

RUN AWAY if considering a stamped concrete patio. From start to finish the experience with our patio build was awful, with the exception of the contact person at the office. She was responsive and pleasant. Cracks (after two weeks), Poor workmanship, destroyed yard, damaged neighbors property. AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!! I had the horrible experience of hiring Sudlow Concrete for redoing part of my driveway. job cost = 4300 while doing the job, crew badly damaged by garage door as you can see in the picture and decided to continue working without informing me. I got a call from their office stating we have been informed by the crew there was a damage and we will work with you to get it fixed. (my biggest mistake, I took their words) As soon as the work finished - they wanted me to pay all the money and leave 1k. I decided to pay 2k (yet again my mistake). After that started the endless excuses to avoid taking responsibility and pay for the damage they caused my property !!!!! First asked me to get multiple quotes They also send their own provider for quotes all these activities wasted almost a month while I deal with an unhappy HOA and a broken garage. Now the front office stopped responding to emails after getting the quotes from me. I am sure, one can interpret the HORRIBLE experience and FRUSTRATION we had to go through dealing with them. I will approach both better business bureau as well as claims court but for now, i would have to spend 3600 to get the garage door repaired. if you prefer the peace of mind and responsible company - AVOID THEM AT ALL COST !!! read more

Very bad customer service. Poor quality craftsmanship. Owner very difficult to resolve work problem with.

Hiring Sudlow Concrete is the decision I regret most as a homeowner. Our driveway was a very important and very expensive project at our home. Please review other sites like Yelp when you consider hiring this company. I went off only Google reviews only and that was a mistake. Our driveway was poured several inches above grade. It looks like it is floating on top of our yard. If you you don't back up straight you could drop off of it and damage your vehicle. Drainage is terrible. The driveway is not at ground level, so water cannot run down it. Water pools up against it and has created expensive additional landscaping projects in our front yard to fix. Our yard was already finished/landscaped so this is unnecessary work, and drainage was a number one concern of ours going into the job. Additionally, a 4ft long crack formed the week after the driveway was poured because the dirt underneath was not compacted correctly. We asked for the owner to come see the finished project (because he is not on site during the job or after). We had to wait two weeks for an appointment. When he finally came out our meeting was very tense. He finally admitted that this was not the standard way the driveway was poured, but made excuse after excuse for the job and did not take ownership for the quality of the work or offer solutions. I do not think he was being truthful in our conversation, as multiple things he said did not make sense. After pressing the company for a resolution, they finally offered a small amount of money to offset the cost we will incur to fix the problems this driveway has created. However, it was not enough to cover the expenses we will incur. This was not a satisfactory resolution by any means. I am so, so disappointed. This project has been a disaster and caused so much stress in our home. If I could undo it I would in a heartbeat. read more

They replaced our driveway and walkway and it mostly is ok, although there are some areas where they were a bit sloppy towards the end. The two issues I have are #1: cleanup (or lack thereof), and #2: my surprise to find the driveway being 2-3" higher than what it was prior. The extra height really impacted water drainage on my property, as well as the appearance of the landscaping around it. Extra $1000 to re-grade all around. The cleanup was a joke. Huge mess up and down the street, Kristi in the office initially said they'd send a cleanup crew, which never showed up, then she later just ignored my calls. My neighbors made formal complaints with the HOA, for which I had to pressure wash and clean two cul-de-sacs. read more
