Fast forward to 2026: an independent inspection revealed that they installed the vapor barrier directly over the bases of our original metal support posts under the main girders. This trapped moisture against the posts, causing severe rust, corrosion, and weakening that is now leading to significant settlement and sagging floors throughout the house. A reputable local company (American Crawlspace Solutions) confirmed this damage is directly tied to AquaGuard's improper installation. They quoted over $11,000 to replace 20 rusted posts with new adjustable supports just to stabilize the home and prevent further failure. This is a serious safety issue that could have been avoided with proper installation techniques (like protecting or elevating the post bases). I have reached out multiple times via email (including detailed follow-ups with photos and the ACS report attached) requesting they review under their "lifetime warranty," send an inspector, or at least respond. Crickets. No reply, no report, no accountability. If you're considering AquaGuard for encapsulation or foundation work in the Atlanta area, think twice. The one this company installed in 2023 quit working in 2024 after the one year warranty expired and I had to pay $1,000 to have another one installed. March 2025 the dehumidifier quit again. I called and they sent a technician out here and he said the company no longer uses those dehumidifiers. He inferred that they are of substandard quality and if I purchased another it would be quite expensive. He checked the dehumidifier and said my electrical outlet had switched it off. So, I paid an electrician to replace the outlet with one that doesn't automatically switch off. The dehumidifier continued to quit working. So, I asked an HVAC company to come and check it out. He said the dehumidifier is fills with water and cuts off because it isn't draining properly. He emptied it out and said it hadn't been correctly installed. He said it needed a condensation pump and the tubing needed to be replaced. I tried to reach someone at Crawlspaces and More and for weeks never received a return call. I finally received an email from Jim and he said he would come out and make sure the dehumidifier was on and charge me $200. I told them to forget it. I called a reputable company and they installed a very nice dehumidifier and replaced the door to my crawlspace. Ours was wood and rotted because it was decades old. They said Crawlspaces and More should have replaced it to thoroughly encapsulate the crawlspace. The new company installed a custom fit door that is air tight and sealed. I would not recommend Crawlspaces and More.

Apart from the countertop cost, Aquagods prices were in line with other companies. I chose Aquagods because, again, the fact that the company works on undersink vs drop-in sink plumbing (I've learned that is an important distinction) meant Michael and Scott didn't have to tear my countertop apart and reset it at extra expense to me with no guarantee that the countertop would be the same as it had been originally. I've included before and after pictures (sorry they're backwards). They worked efficiently and quickly. They even squeezed in fixing a toilet that was not planned because we just noticed it the previous night. As stated in my 1st review, I will be calling Michael and Scott for future plumbing needs.
