Stopped by this morning for coffee and a small snack. We just beat the morning rush. This place is popular and I see why. The coffee is delicious. The flavoring is perfect and you can still taste coffee. Not like those chains where it just tastes like syrup. The employees are kind and welcoming. I had one of the best decaf lattes I've ever had here! They use the good decaf beans too! Not the ones that are chemically treated to remove the caffeine. Stood at the counter for 30 seconds while no less than 5 employees stood all chatting behind the counter. 2 gentleman standing in the back drinking coffee, 3 younger women giggling and chatting, and 1 girl chatting to a guest sitting at a small table to the right. When one of the girls finally came to ask for my order it was just that. "What would you like?" I was looking for that awesome experience that was posted all over their yelp page. Amazing coffee shop in North Phoenix! I had the avocado toast and an iced chai latte. William the owner, was incredibly attentive and asked if I wanted a shot of espresso in my chai. I got a blueberry pastry which my only complaint is that it wasn't large enough because it was so yummy! (In reality it was a perfect size; my taste buds just wanted more). Food was okay soup tastes like cheese and peppers. Grilled cheese was okay if you just get cheddar my 11 year old kid just wanted a grilled cheese they screwed it up after we told them what we wanted .I was very upset then the next one was burnt . Pretty sure everyone was high but they were nice they messed up 2/3 people's orders that were there I DO NOT RECOMMEND. It also took twenty minutes for soup and a sandwich. ridiculous! They roast their own coffee and have a lot of bean options for those that like black coffee! I usual get a latte and it's always good. I will continue to come back here! I am visiting the area and found this gem of a place looking on Yelp. They roast their beans on site and they are so fresh and tasty! As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted with a friendly smile and welcome. The latte was expertly prepared and so much better than what you get at the national chain stores. I also got a home made scone and the baker was in the store! It was seriously the best scone I've had since leaving England. I wish I lived close so I could become a regular at this place.
