I found Amped to be a great atmosphere for a place to go to catch up on work. I think the selection of coffee is great, even though I typically always go for something with flavor like an Iced Chai. The employees are very outgoing and nice to chat with. In general, they are always extremely quick to make drinks and food. Sometimes you do need to take a seat and wait a little for your food but that doesn't bother me since I am usually there with family having a chat. The location has ample parking and there never has been an issue with parking for me. read more

A Really lovely coffee shop. I was surprised to see 20-30 cars at 8am on Saturday but everyone seemed to be flowing in and out of Amped coffee! It was percolating inside with a lovely sprinkling of locals. I noticed chocolate mint scone and birthday cake scone as well as bags of flavored popcorn. Sandwich menu looked good. It looks like a great evening place to stop in for trivia, live music on their spacious stage area. While admiring the Christmas decorations and wondering how they got up there either a ladder.... I noticed an awesome upper level with cushy chairs and a guy on a laptop. It looked like a really cozy hideaway up there. I had the Dino Chai double dirty (2 added shots), they were so patient with my indecisiveness, I was eyeballing they're Toasted Coconut drink as well. Also, not a good atmosphere, seating is all open, not private at all, chairs not comfortable, I'd rather sit outside, please step it up on the seating arrangements, tables are way too close together. This place is super cute! Plenty of parking. They have a little stage so assuming they have events here sometimes. We stopped before we got on the road. Plenty of options and everything tastes very fresh. We ordered a breakfast croissant sandwich with turkey sausage and cheese. We also ordered chai teas with almond milk (not pictured). We were driving thru and I wanted to stop for coffee and use the restroom. I was stoked to see this local shop verse the Starbucks on the sign! Amped was such a cool spot! Clean facility and really cool vibe. They served all kinds of specialty coffees, alcoholic drinks and protein coffees. So unexpected. Asked someone local for a coffee recommendation and they suggested Amped. The interior has a trendy aesthetic I wasn't expecting from the strip mall location, neat surprise. Lots of seating! My expectations might have been too high but coffee quality was disappointing. I typically opt for a standard latte so the flavor of the coffee itself matters most to me. The person I visited with had the same assessment of their beverage as well. If I returned I may try tea or something else instead. They also have custom energy drinks so maybe those are a better choice for those seeking a caffeinated beverage. read more

Pretty cool place! I don't make it out to anthem much but wanted to check amped out. Looks like they have fun events like live music, trivia, and cornhole tournaments! I ordered a caramel latte with extra espresso for my husband and got myself a London fog with oat milk. I ordered it iced but it came hot. I did have to wait longer than expected for our drinks but not like ridiculously long or anything. It is super open in here and the lighting was cool! Was a nice morning to visit and they have a patio too. My London fog was really tasty, I would get it again. I did think it was funny that they had a "seasonal menu", but all the flavors were winter/fall even though it is May haha idk if maybe they just didn't update it or something. I had a good experience at this coffee joint. What I don't really like is having a tip option screen pushed in front of me when paying by credit card so I might not be back. Am I a bad guy because I had to tap on an additional screen to tip slightly less than 20% for a simple cup of coffee? That's sort the underlying impression I got. I was told by our department that I'd received a discount because they're known for respecting and honoring first responders. They paid for my cup of coffee. When I am traveling, I love finding where the best coffee is, and unique finds such as this!! The menu has some good options, and the place was buzzin. We grabbed a comfortable seat while we waited and took in the fun/cool atmosphere. And the coffee!? Delicious! Oh, how I only wish we could have stayed.. but the amount of unmasked individuals isn't unique itself for the area, and so we found it less threatening to sit outside around the corner where where we felt comfortable, and conversation wasn't upsetting to be voluntarily a part of. ... First time trying AMPED Coffee. Great fast service, chill atmosphere, plenty of seating inside and out. Had good music playing, clean bathrooms, and misters going. I got a medium dirty chi and it's fantastic! Their spice selection and expresó compliments each other so well! Extremely thrilled I saw their sign on the freeway so I could stop by. Though I do not drink alcohol, I thought it was unique they offer it at a coffee shop. I needed somewhere to get some work done and wait on traffic into the city to die down, and this was way better than a typical Starbucks. Dock one star because it is pricier than u would have expected ($6 for a breakfast sandwich and almost $6 for an almond milk matcha latte) but everything was delicious. Especially love the study/work area. Only other place I know in town that truly has a designated area is Lux in central Phoenix. Wish more places did this read more

This place is unfortunately inundated with politics and it makes going here unpleasant. No exaggeration... I think this might be my favorite coffee shop ever. Before my friend and I even walked in, we noticed that they had a COVID friendly "drive-thru" set up outside with a food truck and stop signs. Immediately I knew I liked this place just based on the fact that they were innovative with the times and what's going on in the world. We park and walk in and the shop is a very very cute kind of industrial loft vibe. The upstairs is reserved for studying and quiet time and is limited to three people per party. The downstairs or main floor is where you order and there are tables surrounding. We stood in line with the plan to order coffee. We totally ended up ordering alcohol but it's 11am and honestly who even knows what time or what day it is?! I got the tequila heat and my friend got the paloma. I personally preferred the heat and my friend preferred hers. Both were amazing. I knew I needed to write a review because I'm home 8+ hours later trying to figure out the next time I can get to Anthem to get that drink. It was arguably one of the best mixed drinks I've ever had. I also ordered the ACM - Amped Caramel Macchiato, which was good but not nearly as good as the mixed drink. Needless to say, this spot has my heart and I can't wait to come back and spend time here. Oh also! The entire staff team were super super friendly, accommodating and personable. It made the experience that much better. read more
