I found Amped to be a great atmosphere for a place to go to catch up on work. I think the selection of coffee is great, even though I typically always go for something with flavor like an Iced Chai. The employees are very outgoing and nice to chat with. In general, they are always extremely quick to make drinks and food. Sometimes you do need to take a seat and wait a little for your food but that doesn't bother me since I am usually there with family having a chat. The location has ample parking and there never has been an issue with parking for me. read more

A Really lovely coffee shop. I was surprised to see 20-30 cars at 8am on Saturday but everyone seemed to be flowing in and out of Amped coffee! It was percolating inside with a lovely sprinkling of locals. I noticed chocolate mint scone and birthday cake scone as well as bags of flavored popcorn. Sandwich menu looked good. It looks like a great evening place to stop in for trivia, live music on their spacious stage area. While admiring the Christmas decorations and wondering how they got up there either a ladder.... I noticed an awesome upper level with cushy chairs and a guy on a laptop. It looked like a really cozy hideaway up there. I was stopping thru on my way to work in flagstaff and a delightful stop it was. I know you'll love Amped coffee as much as I did. read more

I had the Dino Chai double dirty (2 added shots), they were so patient with my indecisiveness, I was eyeballing they're Toasted Coconut drink as well. My friends also got food, everyone loved their choices. Excellent Customer Service & Good Vibes. We're from out of town, I wish we had more little coffee shops like this back home. Priced right. It's also always nice to see companies use eco-friendly products. read more

This place is super cute! Plenty of parking. They have a little stage so assuming they have events here sometimes. We stopped before we got on the road. Plenty of options and everything tastes very fresh. We ordered a breakfast croissant sandwich with turkey sausage and cheese. We also ordered chai teas with almond milk (not pictured). Service was quick and efficient! Definitely recommend trying! read more

Not much to offer for coffee shops in Anthem but being new to the area, I wanted to try it. Not impressed, chai is good but a little overpriced here especially for food. Also, not a good atmosphere, seating is all open, not private at all, chairs not comfortable, I'd rather sit outside, please step it up on the seating arrangements, tables are way too close together. Something needs to change or I won't be coming back. read more

We were driving thru and I wanted to stop for coffee and use the restroom. I was stoked to see this local shop verse the Starbucks on the sign! Amped was such a cool spot! Clean facility and really cool vibe. They served all kinds of specialty coffees, alcoholic drinks and protein coffees. So unexpected. I only had time to try coffee - I got an iced white chocolate pistachio mocha with oat milk.... Dang was it good! Service was pleasant and fast! Definitely stop here if you're in the area! Please don't get the chai it's like 6 dollars for milk , place is nice. Lots of locals and retired people. They only had one flavor of chai, the cashier didn't know and had to ask the manager in front of me. Asked someone local for a coffee recommendation and they suggested Amped. The interior has a trendy aesthetic I wasn't expecting from the strip mall location, neat surprise. Lots of seating! My expectations might have been too high but coffee quality was disappointing. I typically opt for a standard latte so the flavor of the coffee itself matters most to me. The person I visited with had the same assessment of their beverage as well. If I returned I may try tea or something else instead. They also have custom energy drinks so maybe those are a better choice for those seeking a caffeinated beverage. read more

Pretty cool place! I don't make it out to anthem much but wanted to check amped out. Looks like they have fun events like live music, trivia, and cornhole tournaments! I ordered a caramel latte with extra espresso for my husband and got myself a London fog with oat milk. I ordered it iced but it came hot. I did have to wait longer than expected for our drinks but not like ridiculously long or anything. It is super open in here and the lighting was cool! Was a nice morning to visit and they have a patio too. My London fog was really tasty, I would get it again. I did think it was funny that they had a "seasonal menu", but all the flavors were winter/fall even though it is May haha idk if maybe they just didn't update it or something. First time visiting this coffee shop in Anthem. Love the atmosphere, awesome patio and seating, friendly staff. Lots of options for coffee, pastries and food. I got a nitro cold brew and it was smooth and flavorful. My husband got the pistachio mocha and my kid got an Italian soda. Everyone is happy with what they got and we will definitely return again. Bonus it's across the way is the anthem park so you can take your coffee there and let kids play. read more

Stopped in today just to grab a cup of coffee. I was coming off of my shift, on my way home. I was told by our department that I'd received a discount because they're known for respecting and honoring first responders. They paid for my cup of coffee. I totally wasn't expecting that and I think I stood there for a solid 10 seconds while my brain was still trying to compute, probably also confusing the guy behind me for not moving out of the way. I had a good experience at this coffee joint. What I don't really like is having a tip option screen pushed in front of me when paying by credit card so I might not be back. Am I a bad guy because I had to tap on an additional screen to tip slightly less than 20% for a simple cup of coffee? That's sort the underlying impression I got. The outdoor patio seating is great and it looked like there was an upper loft to the side. This is a nice relaxing place with an industrial loft vibe to meet people at or just hang out with your laptop. read more

When I am traveling, I love finding where the best coffee is, and unique finds such as this!! The menu has some good options, and the place was buzzin. We grabbed a comfortable seat while we waited and took in the fun/cool atmosphere. And the coffee!? Delicious! Oh, how I only wish we could have stayed.. but the amount of unmasked individuals isn't unique itself for the area, and so we found it less threatening to sit outside around the corner where where we felt comfortable, and conversation wasn't upsetting to be voluntarily a part of. ... Will we be back!? So long as the town if Anthem will have two centered liberal's who may have another opinion, but share a love of good coffee and and cool taste. read more

Great coffee and such a cute little spot. They have a lot of room! They have a patio as well. There's an upstairs if your trying to study. It's also a bar and they also serve food and snacks. Stopped on way to Sedona for anniversary first week of June. Positives: Really cool inside. And, they also have a separate salad/sandwich shop adjacent the coffee shop. There's an upper loft - lots of the phots already posted give a pretty good overview. They serve alcohol. I ordered a cappuccino - very good. Service - very poor. A young lady served me and made it quite clear by her tone and mannerisms that serving me was inconvenient. no greeting when i walked up to the counter, just waiting for me to order -- like she was doing me the favor of serving me. Typical for a lot of coffee shop with entitled servers who have a hard time processing that the customer keeps the establishment open. You don't have to wipe my hind quarters, but a friendly smile goes a long ways. read more

I love a coffee shop that is not a corporate spot. One that has a laid back vibe and good selections of light foods, coffees and teas. Even better when there is live music on a regular basis. Honestly did not expect a spot like this up on Anthem, but so happy I found it! I needed somewhere to get some work done and wait on traffic into the city to die down, and this was way better than a typical Starbucks. Dock one star because it is pricier than u would have expected ($6 for a breakfast sandwich and almost $6 for an almond milk matcha latte) but everything was delicious. Especially love the study/work area. Only other place I know in town that truly has a designated area is Lux in central Phoenix. Wish more places did this read more

First time trying AMPED Coffee. Great fast service, chill atmosphere, plenty of seating inside and out. Had good music playing, clean bathrooms, and misters going. I got a medium dirty chi and it's fantastic! Their spice selection and expresó compliments each other so well! Extremely thrilled I saw their sign on the freeway so I could stop by. Though I do not drink alcohol, I thought it was unique they offer it at a coffee shop. Looks like a great spot to connect with friends of all refreshment needs (kombucha, juices, and smoothies offered as well). I saw a sign with days they have actives. The coffee they use is excellent. Service is friendlier lately--although being pushed into tip options with a credit cards is rather annoying. You have to push a button to get to a different screen if you want to tip less or not at all. On top of that, they charge 4% more for credit card use. read more

They also claim to be "Family Friendly!" I wouldn't take a child in that place EVER. It was full of rough bikers and other sketchy people. The vibe was horrible! We ate a quick bite and got the heck out of there! We will never be back Oh, the tickets we had purchased never got used, so you can consider that our donation to a crummy place I will always drive past without a second thought!! If I could give -0, I would have!! They also need to post times for activities so everyone can arrive accordingly. It doesn't matter to us, cause we are one and done!!

You walk in and wait 5 minutes for someone to even greet you. This isn't the first time we've had to wait.. Also, this place is a rip off which is sad because the salads are great! The amount they give you is not worth the price. I first walk in and the lady starts to place my salad in a to-go bin with a small amount of lettuce.. which hey that's okay! She didn't know. No biggie. I kindly corrected her and she changed to a bowl but added a little more lettuce? Sooo if I did a to-go, my salad would have been less for the same price? Then she made my salad and it was half of what everyone else's salads were. I know I sound like a Karen but I'd like what I paid for!? Lol And no, I didn't say anything. I should've but she seemed new.. I didn't want to make her feel bad. I will give them two stars because their chipotle ranch is bomb! Try that if you go!! Hands down the best place to go out for a drink and a bite to eat! They have healthy food options (full salad bar in a connected building-same owner) and a giant pretzel for carb-lovers like me :) They also have a full bar and serve fun non-alcoholic drinks/smoothies as well. Amped Coffee is amazing! The staff is fantastic and the owners Keith & Janine create all sorts of ambiance depending on the time of day.
