Food and service is just so good here. Surprise they close pretty early for a Friday night though. Definitely worth going to though.

On the final day of the conference workshop at Oak Brook my colleagues and I were able to have lunch brought by Wildfire and I thought this was an excellent way to end off the week! The catering setup included sandwiches that allowed each attendee to quickly get their food and enjoy during the completion of the remaining session. I ultimately ended up going with the Turkey Sandwich with Cheese, Lettuce & Avocado and found that it was very good. Each ingredient in the sandwich tasted like they had been freshly prepared, and the combination of the flavors from the turkey and avocado were perfect to provide a nice taste contrast for the sandwich! It was delicious! The sandwich included chips and a chocolate chip cookie as an additional portion of each meal. The cookie was a great add on and wonderful treat with the lunch. It added the final touch of sweetness to end the meal on a Friday! Wildfire's catering was fantastic. They offered a very good, quality sandwiches. All items were prepared in each individual box or a separate bag for the catering order! Next time, I'll have to try eating at the Wildfire restaurant the next time I'm in the Chicago area!

Always have a reservation on hand here. Wildfire Oak Brook is always busy! Coming and checking in is easy. There's so much room and the restaurant is quite lively. Our service was well paced and we had a wonderful server. We started out with drinks and went ahead to order. Their salads are very much so made to share. They have sides but the value for sharing is better. Any entree ordered comes with a side, which is great. I get very tired of these à la carte style menus at these prices. We shred a Greek Salad small, enough for two-three people. I also ordered the Romanian Skirt Steak and a side of Cottage Fries. The steaks are always cooked to my liking and have plenty of juice. The onions at a great sweetness and is delicious. The cottage fries are great, and the ranch accompanied with it is delicious. It's a bit salty, I do think Wildfire is heavy handed on the salt. They packed our food in containers, which is great. At a restaurant like this, I expect it to be packed for me, especially when I have juicy meals. The service is great and friendly and the food is delicious.

Father's Day @ 5:15. We had reservations, and were seated right on time. Michelle, our server greeted us promptly, and provided truly amazing service throughout the course of the meal. I had the half slab of BBQ ribs, and hubby had the Roumanian skirt steak. Both were delicious. I added a baked potato to my order ($1.95 upcharge). The potato was ginormous...well worth the additional charge. Wildfire provides consistently great food AND great service. We love this place, and highly recommend it.

We came here for a group dinner and were really impressed with both the food and the service. The staff were fast, efficient, clean, quiet, and super helpful everything ran so smoothly. The room was set up perfectly for our group, and there was so much food to go around! We loved the variety and flavor of each dish, and everyone left happy (and full!). Highly recommend this spot for large group dinners or celebrations they make it easy and enjoyable from start to finish.

My husband and I have made Wildfire our New Year's Eve lunch/dinner tradition for the past few years, and it never disappoints. The food, drinks, desserts, and overall vibe are consistently phenomenal. The staff are always friendly. It's the perfect way to ring in the new year.

Had a girls holiday dinner here. They have a separate GF menu. The service was good in the beginning but she had a lot of tables and didn't come back for quite awhile at the end. We ordered drinks and I started with the GF French onion soup. The crostini was a bit hard for my liking but the soup itself was good. For my entree I ordered a GF salad and au gratin potatoes. All of our food came out but I didn't receive my side. Our server came around towards the end and I asked for if my side was still coming. She brought it right away but we were pretty much done with our food. I opted for berry crumble for dessert and it was delicious. All my food also came out with an allergy stick for awareness.

Hey Yelpers, today the wifey and I slid to Wildlife Oak Brook. My wife has been dying to come here. We got there in the afternoon about a half hour after they opened. I liked the look of the restaurant nice steakhouse vibes. We ordered the Calamari to start. It was prepared properly! Nice crunch and very tender. Seasoned nicely and tasted fresh. Calamari is a basic appetizer that shouldn't be difficult and the nailed it. 7.5/10 My wife had the lemon pepper chicken breast. It had a nice char on it and it was very flavorful and tender! She had the BBQ rubbed sweet potato for her side and that sweet spud was delicious! Nice sweetness from the brown sugar and cinnamon also very flavorful She enjoyed it. 8/10 for the meal. Now for my food. I got the BBQ rib/chicken combo with fries. Although the chicken was pretty good it wasn't grilled. It had a cooked in the oven taste it. Not bad but I wouldn't get it again. The ribs were DEFINITELY oven prepared. And they were tender but not the flavor I was looking for. I didn't enjoy them. That was my fault for ordering BBQ instead of a steak. I'll give the chicken 6/10 & the ribs 3/10. Our server was nice but she wasn't attentive. The service was Med at best. 5/10. Maybe we'll return , maybe not. Remember Yelpers ALL REVIEWS ARE SUBJECTIVE!

Tonight our family celebrated my husband and I's wedding anniversary. We did the same last year as well. We ordered a variety of items on the menu and the star of the note was the pork chops. We also had the skirt steak, prime rib sandwhich and the whole branzino. We were also gifted with a flourless chocolate cake to celebrate our anniversary. Fermin was our server and was awesome the entire meal. The service is always great - quick and efficient! We will come back to celebrate for our other occasions!

We went to Wildfire for Sunday lunch during Restaurant Week in January 2026. The restaurant featured a pre fixe lunch menu with starter and main course for $30. The environment was friendly and inviting and we struck up a conversation with other dinners easily. First our waiter Kesha was a star, friendly and attentive. Our table started with the Bison Meatball appetizer (not on the pre fixe menu so an additional $15, we also added a side of freshly made cornbread at $9). I went with the Shrimp & Crab Bisque for my pre fixe starter, which I found excellent. Others had the Spinach Salad and Ceasar Salad. My main was the Bison burger Deluxe,  an excellent choice; it was tender and flavorful,  they did have an aioli on the bun but just enough to create a barrier from the bun becoming soggy from the juicy burger. My husband went with the Grilled Faroe Island Salmon which he informed me was a special treat and not available everywhere. My friend had the Blackened Swordfish Sandwich. Another tasty choice.  We end up with some chocolate cake and ice cream.

    Red Sangria ...tasty

My friend had a holiday party here and the food was great. Staff was decent. We were seated in a decent size room to accommodate the party, and everything ran smoothly based on my experience. Even though I arrived late the staff quickly assisted with taking my order etc. I loved the red sangria and really enjoyed the Cedar-Planked Salmon and the Loaded Giant Baked Potato! Overall, I had a good time and enjoyed the food. Now, this place is located in the Oakbrook Mall and I had to go up a few stairs outside to get to the restaurant. As for the ambiance as a I walked through the restaurant the noise was pretty loud, however, once in the room it was pretty quiet.

Do you need a reservation? And if not, how long would the wait be on a Saturday?

I highly recommend reservations. The wait on a Saturday without a reservation would be very long - at least an hour.

Due to the relaxed COVID requirements, are they allowing non-vaccinated patons?

Yes, I didnt have a problem eating there and I'm not vaccinated.

Are they adhering to 50% capacity guidelines? Are patrons allowed to wait in the bar area or outside?

They were adhering to the guidelines on last Saturday. However people were allowed to wait in the bar area spaced out.

Is this location open for indoor dining?

Yes they have limited indoor dining.

I didn't see the French onion soup on the menu anymore has it been removed?

Hi Ashley, thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately we are not serving our French Onion Soup at this time.

The tomato sauce was flavorful, and the shaved Parmesan and arugula complemented the dish beautifully. Unfortunately, the arancini themselves were disappointing, as the coating was much too thick compared to the small amount of rice filling inside. For our entrées, my husband ordered the Chicken Parmigiana. The chicken was unfortunately very dry and overly salted. I chose the pappardelle with short rib ragù. The fresh pasta was excellent--perfectly made with a wonderful texture--but the ragù was also overly salted, which overshadowed what could have been a great dish. One of the highlights of our evening was the service. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout our meal. Located in what used to be Anthony's, the Italian steakhouse, the ambiance is actually quite nice- but it's the service that needs some work. We stopped in after a meeting in the hotel for a drink with a small group. The space is nice- leather chairs clustered around tables in front of a fake fireplace. Murals on the walls, and a bar that stretches across the one wall. Even though there wasn't a big crowd on the night we were there- service was slow. We finally walked up to the bar to get our drinks. We ordered a snack of some chips and guac but it was disappointing as there wasn't enough guac to go with the quantity of chips provided. It looked harmless and we were mainly going for wine and to catch up with each other so I bought the certificate and off we went. The Den is located inside the Oak Brook Doubletree hotel and there is no indication from outside the hotel where the restaurant is so I punted as far as parking was concerned. Luckily, I picked the correct side of the hotel. At first glance, the inside of the restaurant is a little dated, but it was clean, cozy, and quiet. I was directed to pick any seat I wanted. Looking over the menu there were some affordable starters/small plates, and a decent selection of entrees (@ 5 non beef and 5 beef). The wine list was nothing special either in information or choice. I was going to start with a Pinot Noir, and asked about a particular Wine maker as nothing else was listed on the sheet besides the wine maker, appellation, variety and vintage. I knew that wine maker had several labels of Pinot Noir so I asked the server which they were pouring. He came back and said it wasn't listed on the bottle. I guess I could have asked to see the bottle, but it just seemed like too much work for me too. I went with it and it was fine. Started with a Caesar salad with no croutons. Not only were there no croutons, but the listed "crispy prosciutto" and cheese was missing. Whatever. I was STARVING and ate it without complaint. Next on the list was a cheese plate. The cheese plate was listed as having brie, blue and aged white cheddar, along with grapes, crackers and walnuts. What we got was a young yellow cheddar, some smoked gouda, and boursin cheese spread with crackers and dried cranberries. Again, i was using a gift certificate so I didn't want to make a fuss, but my sister and I brought it up to the server that basically nothing that was described on the plate was actually on the plate. Also mentioned the salad mistake too (might as well go for broke). He apologize and went back to the kitchen and see what was up. When he came back he apologize as he noticed the salad was incorrect but didn't do anything about it, and he also said that there were two different menus going on and the chef was working off a different menu. He then brought out a much bigger plate with a little brie, some blue cheese, what I think was a mild mexican cheese, and something that tasted like minibabybel. Still no cheddar. We ordered more wine, and got some olives and I ordered a rib-eye. The server suggested I get the all-you-can-eat NY strip, (thanks for bringing that up) but I still went with the rib-eye. While only 14 oz, it was decent and bone-in (which was a nice surprise) and I would think I great selling feature. For our third round of drinks, the server suggested a meritage they had. My sister stayed with the cab, but I tried it. It wasn't bad, but it was very warm. When we asked for the check, he brought it out and I noticed it was just under $100. I waited for him to come back and explained I had one of those $50 off it you spend $100 certificates and we would probably need to split another glass of wine. He explained that it would be no problem to just use the certificate now as he had not charged for the last round of drinks as a thank-you. That was really nice of him, but it was really something he should have addressed when he first dropped off the check..." hey folks, sorry for the inconveniences you've experienced. I got you a round of drinks. I hope you'll try us again." Overall, our server was nice, but he lacked presence on the floor. And there were only 5 tables at the most going on. Now I get that this is a hotel venue, so perhaps repeat business isn't a priority, but with better service and some quality control, I could see this place really taking off as an after-work location. As it is now, I would go back if someone else wanted to go, or if I had another gift certificate, but it definitely isn't on my list of "must go back" spots.

Definitely consider just ordering a classic versus one of their mixology offerings if you're looking for a budget conscious option. For starters, we shared the Stuffed Mushrooms, Calamari, and Spinach & Artichoke Dip. The portions were good for sharing. The Stuffed Mushrooms had a seafood mix in them with a delicious sauce paired under. The Calamari had a hint of spicy to it but nothing crazy. The Spinach & Artichoke Dip had a good truffle note and was creamy; the dip could have used a few more chips but some individuals used the complimentary bread slices. Most individuals got a soup or salad before the mains. The Lobster Bisque Soup was rich and creamy with a good amount of lobster. Others tried the Caesar, Chop, and Field Green Pear Salads. The Pear Salad could have been shared by two people since it was a starter salad. Everyone raved about the flavors of these. For mains, most people got steaks and shared side dishes of Brussel Sprouts, Truffle Steak Fries, and Asparagus. The sides were shareable for 2-3 people I would say. I ordered the Seared Scallop Pasta and loved it! The noodles were al dente, two sauces paired nicely together, and loved the vegetables that brightened up the dish. For desserts, we shared the Rocky Road Bread Pudding, Fudgy Chocolate Cake, and Orange Vanilla Cream Cheesecake. Every option brought its own flavor and offered something for everyone. I tried the Bread Pudding and Chocolate Cake and WOW! I'd certainly order either one again. While all of the food, drinks, and atmosphere were great, I struggled some with the service. Our main server was Christine who guided us through the menu nicely, made sure the room was comfortable for us, and had a sweet demeanor. The pacing of food was a bit off where it felt like dishes were being taken off the table with a couple of bites left just to serve the next course. I'm not a fan of wasting food when out and I felt these little bites could have been saved and sent home with guests. If we paid for it, we should ALWAYS be asked. There were a couple of side requests that came to the table very delayed and one meal that came at the end of dinner. I'm sure it is difficult to manage a large group setting but I felt disappointed to see items wasted, pacing rushed, and certain people waiting to enjoy till additional items came.
