My friend ordered a chai latte, which was pretty good and again a good light sweetness, and my other friend tried the café Touba (a peppery black coffee), a bit bitter and strong for me but interesting to try. We got a slice of spinach cake with mascarpone and hung out for a while because we wanted to try their pierogis and they don't start serving lunch food until 10:30. Verdict was all the food was fantastic, so I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu that sounds good to you. The staff (owners?) really made it a great experience - they all seemed very genuine and kind and made us feel like it would be ok if we wanted to hang out there all day. Will probably drop in for another morning coffee before we leave Amsterdam!
