I do believe that Wild Wings n' Thing do have some of the best wings in town. In fact my favorite is the Asian version . I haven't been to this restaurant in awhile but today was date night so my wife and I thought wings before the movie would be great. Unfortunately, this visit wasn't like previous visits we had. When we walked in, the empty tables had not been attended to and the bucket they use to clean the tables was left by the soda fountain filled with trash. We ordered traditional 20 wings with two drinks. What our cashier failed to tell us for the same price we could have got the meal deal which would have given us fries. After I paid and notice the meal deal I asked her about it and got the sorry can't help you attitude. When asked if she could clean our table, she walks over there with the rage and bush all the stuff on the dirty table on the floor. When the food came asked for Togo container she just points in corner and tells me they're over there. And guess what? Right next to that bucket filled with trash. So the cleanness has went way down and the customer service is pretty bad. We're staying away from there until the owner can make some changes. read more

They have a variety of flavors with varying heat levels. They let you do 2 sauces per order. The prices are really reasonable, and they also had some well priced combos and lunch specials! The cons, we ordered boneless wings, and they were over breaded for my taste. They were also slightly over cooked so they were kind or harder than they should've been. Their cheese curds weren't my favorite as I like them with a lighter breading, but also know that type of cheese curd with a good golden brown coat is popular! The day we dined it seemed like they were having issues with their registers, and being able to take payments so that could possibly be a factor as to why our wings seemed over cooked as they were in a bit of a stressful situation. We will certainly be back to fulfill a wing craving, and try some more apps! read more

I am very surprised at how terrible the chicken is here. It's almost as overpriced as it is over cooked. I came here after a movie date with my husband for a late night snack before heading home. It's located one store next door to the theater off the Glenn. It wasn't full or crowded when we walked in, but there was still a fair amount of people there. After a quick look at the simple menu we ordered a half pound of chicken tenders and an order of churros. We added on the kamakaze ranch and a soda. For about 25$ we got 5 good sized chicken tenders and the equivalent of a Costco churro cut up into a billion pieces with a pile of powdered sugar in the middle. The ranch isn't pre mixed. It's just regular ranch with a dollop of hot sauce with seeds on top. After we ordered the food came in a timely manner for how many people were showing up for takeout and the crowd that was already there. Then the doom showed up and I took a bite. I was so unimpressed and honestly, kind of disgusted, that I asked them to box it up to go. On our way home we stopped to get the kids from the sitter and gave them the tenders. My kids are human garbage disposals. They will eat or try just about anything. Even they refused to eat them. The tenders were way over cooked and fairly flavorless. The sampler said it came with fries, mac n cheese bites, poppers, cheese sticks and mushrooms. We only got 3 mushrooms, the mac n cheese bites are obviously kraft mac n cheese, the peppers are not the ones you're used to (half a jalapeno and cream cheese filling) just a mix of what seems like hash browns and some jalapeno mixed in. The marinara sauce tastes like sucking on a fork (bleh) But the pepper jelly is pretty good, the pickle spears are spot on and the fries are decent for being fast food delivered. After reading a couple of recent positive reviews from fellow Yelpers and since it has been about 2 years since the last time I was here, I decided to drop in a couple of days ago for a quick meal before heading home. Wild Wings n' Things is located in the large shopping plaza off of Muldoon next to Qdoba and the movie theater right by the Glenn Highway. The seating area has an aviator theme with plenty of military memorabilia and a couple of TV screens set up on both corners of the ceiling for watching sports. The employee behind the register gave me a friendly greeting and quickly took my order. I went with the 10-piece bone-in Golden Spice wings with celery and three cups of blue cheese. The place was moderately packed with plenty of families seated at the booths watching the college football games playing overhead. Despite being busy, the wait was only several minutes before the wings arrived at my table. This time around, the wings were hot off the fryer, delicious with a crispy texture and the Golden Spice looking similar to honey mustard but with a sweeter taste. The celery was fresh and crunchy with plenty of chunks of creamy blue cheese for dipping the wings in. I was happy to come back to a good meal rather than going to the supermarket deli and fighting the 5PM rush with the crowds and traffic. What I didn't mention in my previous review were the other items worth checking out on the menu. Some other wing flavors worth trying out are the Chili Lime, Garlic Parmesan Rub, Cajun Dry Rub, and Lemon Pepper. There is also an option to upgrade to their hottest spices which is the Kamikaze or the Death Dip if intense heat is your preference. In addition to the wings, they also serve Philly Cheese Steaks, Salads, Cheeseburger Mini Sliders, and a wide variety of sides and appetizers including Mac and Cheese Wedges, Sweet Potato Tater Tots, Hot Shot Jalapeno Rings, Cheese Curds, Fried Pickles, and Zucchini Chips. Desserts here are of the State Fair variety like Fried Oreos, Fried Candy Bars, and Funnel Fries if you happen to miss out on the fair this year because of the gloomy weather. My buddy and I were there about 7:30 on Friday and we were cautioned before ordering that the wait was 30-40 minutes. The place was less than half full, but doing lots of takeout orders. The dining area consists of booth tables along both end walls and four tops filling the center area. We made our way to the counter where Renee was eager to help us. Her sidekick, I can remember his name, was also there to help as well as telling jokes and talking about music. Both were very professional and helpful. We decided on the Pilot Meal to share which consisted of 15 wings, fries and a drink. We chose the Garlic Parm Dry Rub wings for our flavor. We took a booth and only had to wait about 10 minutes for the wing and fries to be cooked up. The flavor of the wings was very good and I live the seasoned fries. Renee came over and chatted us up some while we enjoyed our meal, she very sweet. Oh and I didn't partake on this day but they have a good selection of beers here as well, tap and bottle. Compliments to the staff for their friendliness. I saw that they had halibut and chips and wanted to give it a try because they would be a convenient stop in comparison to my current favorite. The halibut came in 3 long nugget-shaped pieces with seasoned fries. The breading on the halibut was dark, greasy, salty, and over-seasoned. The halibut pieces were thin and coming apart. The seasoned fries were very good. Tasty and well-prepared. The ice was out or not working on the fountain drink machine. I'll probably give it another try, but will certainly not get the halibut. This restaurant has a punchcard system. After 10 meals you can get a free sandwich or 10 free wings. Today, I asked the store to let me have their first class meal special instead, and let me pay the $.50 difference. The cashier said no, because he didn't have a button for that on his register. Poor customer service like that is how dinky independent stores like this one that face stiff competition from Buffalo Wild Wings, Wingstop and the like lose customers. I like to order their Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, so I can't comment on the wings. The sandwich is very delicious and is LOADED with meat and veggies. The seasoned fries are delicious, but they will substitute the fries for a salad if you request. Their salads are not just lettuce, and I find them very fulfilling. They are located next to the Tikhatnu movie theater which makes it the perfect place for a dinner/lunch date. The place is usually clean, but if it's not, the server will clean your table. So, what are the negatives.... Well, the location is really small, so you will find your self sitting with strangers or seeing a booth for 8 being wasted on two people who will sit for hours. I would strongly recommend not showing up 30 minutes before a blockbuster movie is about to show on the weekend of an opening night. You'll never find a place to sit! Other than that, I think it's a pretty decent place for a locally owned and ran location. Their theme is the Air Force, so the memorabilia is nice to look at. read more

I have had the kamikaze wings before and it's not the hottest wing I've ever had but still good. The Chicken Parm is decent as well. The lighting is great. Lots of natural light and a very nostalgic decor, decked out with military memorabilia. Very cool. The tables, floors, seats, restrooms and glasses all pass my cleanliness test. I went there on a whim since my first plan was to get Qdoba...then I decided that I didn't want fake Mexican food and went for wings. When I came in, I was greeted and was handed a menu. The lady who took my order was very helpful since I asked if the wings were a decent size and she said that the batch they have in today were pretty big. So I had the 10 piece sonic boom wings and the killer seasoned fries to-go. My order came in quick and fresh..and when I came home to devour them, they were amazing and the wings were big! I paid about $14 for the wings and fries so the price took off a star for the otherwise great service and food. I will return again. FYI: You're going to a restaurant, not a fast food joint. What if they had to defrost their wings prior to cooking them...is that why they took so long? I get some people getting overcooked chicken so I won't say much to that. Bad day? But again, if you're looking for something fast, how about not trying to pull a fast one at the theaters and sneaking food in, and actually getting food at the lobby?
