Food is amazing and local. Breads are baked there, which is great. Highly recommend the stollen french toast. The restaurant itself is pretty loud, but that's the ambiance. I wouldn't come here if you're looking to have a solemn conversation with someone. read more

Being that I have a floating day off working with the Post Office I was looking for something special around Kent to have breakfast with my daughters on their day off of school. I searched Yelp and came across Wild Wheat Bakery. WOW. Excellent Eggs Benedict. I'm somewhat of an Eggs Benedict fanboy. It's something I have to try everywhere I go (as long as they use Hollandaise Sauce instead of American Cheese). Their Eggs Benedict was one of the best I've had. My Wife had their Smoked Salmon omelet, and my brother had their Dungeness Crab and Asparagus omelet. All were excellent. read more

Not a lot of breakfast selections on the menu but the eggs florentine is delicious. My 4 stars are for the eggs florentine alone.

First time writing a review. Went for breakfast Thursday morning. Not that busy. No one approached me to be seated even though I was waiting in front of the sign that said wait here to be seated. Finally after getting a place to sit I noticed how cold and loud the restaurant was. I couldn't feel my hands part way through breakfast. The staff is not friendly and is pretty much there to take your order and bring it out. It would be easier just to order at the counter and grab your own food since there is no service. The staff also doesn't know what food belongs to what table. They just keeping checking with each table to see if this is what they ordered. The food was good but pricey. I have eaten here many years ago and I do remember how good it was. If you decide to try it dress warm and remember you won't be able to have much of a conversation with you breakfast/lunch party. So loud. read more

The burger and fries are definitely one of the best I've ever had!! Super surprised by all of the flavor in both. Apple juice is handed squeezed and also better than I've ever tried elsewhere. Can't wait to invite my family here when they come to visit WA! read more

This place is terrible. terrible food, terrible service. I tried talking to the manager about my waitress because we were waiting for half an hour after ordering some simple sandwiches. We come to find out our waitress was sent home by non other than the manger himself! it was a disgrace, I will never come back again. read more

I received 2 gift cards for them, so we went for breakfast, place was not that busy, took 30+ minutes after ordering to get our food, Food came and it was luke warm at best, went to pay with the gift cards and was told they had zero balance on them?? both had receipts showing the amount, they stated that they were having issues with their gift cards and wanted cash money, After about 15 more minutes of them trying to make them work, they finally just comp'd the meal. Prices are VERY HIGH for what you get. will not be returning. read more

Get the stolen French toast and split it. Two slices on each plate and give you double fruit portions for a measly 1 split charge.

The breakfast is outstanding. I would pass on the french toast next time. I wish they would do the French toast with their sourdough bread because it is amazing. Dont forget to take home a fresh loaf of bread with the homemade raspberry jam. read more

Cute restaurant. In a really nice location. Street parking was easy to find. Complimentary bread was fresh and delicious. We had lunch here. I ordered the grilled chicken pasta. It looked good but was really lacking in flavor. Two other people in our group ordered the cheese burger. It is huge. They both really liked it and said the fries are good too. My hubby ordered the pastrami sandwich and it was huge as well. He loved it. The options for kids are lacking. PB&J, grilled cheese, and pasta with butter. I asked if they had a kid sized burger and was told no so we had to order the 1/2 lb for our 7 year old. Got the PB&J for our younger one and it was good sized and came with fries and fresh fruit. I only gave 4 stars because the pasta lacked flavor and the service was really lacking. No one got drink refills. Got our food and were forgotten until the bill came. Didn't even ask if we wanted desert or anything. So we didn't order anything even though we were all drooling over the desert case. read more

Went for Sunday breakfast. Nice menu with fairly high prices that are evened out my the generous helpings. The breads were excellent- possibly the best bagel of my life. The quiche was great and the potatoes done just right. The bagels and lox was a unique item to find on the menu. I went with it and found it odd to need to assemble it myself for the $14.95 price. I did say it was the best bagel of my life though didn't I? Service brings it down to a three star. Never really checked back with us for more coffee and when I ordered orange juice having just sat down I wasn't asked a size and was brought the largest. Might come back to buy some baked goods. read more

Service was a bit slow but mainly because the place was packed. French toasts are really good and all the different kindnof bread and pastries. Recommend for brunches and breakfast read more

We went here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Parking was hard to find as something was going on down town Kent. When we checked in with the hostess we were told that it would take 10 minutes. There really is no good place to wait, which I think is one of the things that should be improved here. If they can set up a bench to the side or a couple of chairs that would be great! We ordered a latte which came in a glass not a latte cup, which we found strange, however it tasted great. The eggs Benedict with home fries were good, however the eggs were not properly poached, they were soft boiled, the yolk was not runny at all, which is a bummer because what you go for is a runny yolk and hollandaise sauce combined together on top of bread or potatoes in a yummy bite, not a little bit of sauce with dry bread. I don't have anything negative to say about the potatoes - they were delicious! Better than the other times I've eaten there. I give this place 4 stars because I think it's still one of the better places to go to breakfast in Kent , even though some improvements are needed. read more

Our family loves this place!! Great food, quick service! We have been coming here for 6 years now, i love their breakfast and lunch is good! Their bread is so fresh and their jam is to die for! read more

Food was good and all but it was disrespectful of waitrest to take my check and not even ask me if I needed my change back he just took my change as tip my total was 14 I give 20$ I don't care about the 6$ just ask at least If I needed my change back and from there I could have decided if I wanted to leave it or not plus he was not even serving us! some lady did and he comes up to take care of it, like this...? Ya I guess disappointing read more

This place in on point! Everything was really good, Like next level good. It was pricy for breakfast but it doesn't have to be. I got the crab asparagus omelette 21$ and a cappuccino. My boyfriend got the eggs Florentine. High quality homemade food. From the Hollandaise( which is just outstanding) to the potatoes to the bread! read more

Only because I can't it half a star. Absolute worse service and they were not busy. It took a few minutes to get seated, ordered right away and to food came out quickly enough. I was served the wrong kind of toast with my breakfast, that was okay but by the time I got the correct item, I was done with my plate and served with no butter. When I asked the guy looked put out. When checked on by our waitress it was cold with still no butter. The food was not worth the price since it was only warm when it came out. The bill was brought without asking if we needed anything more and felt like we were kind of rushed out. We decided to check out there bakery selection and while we wanted something to go there was no one in site. Half of the items looked over baked. We will not be returning there and would not recommend. read more

Florentine Egg was amazing. Very good portion size so go hungry. Will come back again.

Once again, we had an amazing breakfast at Wild Wheat. Great Food, good prices!

I've never been to the restaurant, but I am an Eastcoast bread snob, and this is the best bread I've had on the West Coast!

I found this place on yelp and found that their food is actually pretty good! They have a large amount of pastries and goodies for before or after breakfast. Nice atmosphere too. Good for family, friends or even on a date read more

Great croissant, fresh bread and the pies are extra ordinary. Just wish they have wifi. This would be a nice place to hang out and eat

They are right, while not inexpensive at over $10, Wild Wheat's smoked chicken and goat cheese salad is to die for.

Wow. The Holy Grail of bear claws. So fresh, so flakey. Eggs were great, bread is sublime. I have a wheat allergy, but this is the place to go to cheat. read more

My family and I go here pretty often. The food is good, but it is not somewhere to go if you're looking for quiet conversation. It is super loud and hard to hear your companions talk. Breads are all good since they seem to make stuff fresh from the bakery. Eggs have always been done to perfection. This is the place in Kent we will go to for breakfast. I do wish they'd clean the light fixtures though. Lots of dust. read more

This place is awesome. I had the best omelette I've ever had in my life. The place is clean, service quick and excellent, definitely will be going back. About time Kent had a decent breakfast place! What are you waiting for? Go now! read more

Good food, decent prices. I had the oatmeal which was a huge portion and yummy, my husband had the French toast and he said it was awesome.

Love this place for breakfast! Totally worth the drive from Orting! Fresh, yummy food, good service, and amazing coffee! A treat for sure!

The lunch is very good! I had the Tandoori chicken wrap. Yummy =)

Best Breakfast Ever!! Get the crab and asparagus omelet. It is the most magical thing you will ever eat.

PAY WITH CASH!!! DONT GIVE ANYONE YOUR BANK/CHARGE CARD!!!! Had lunch here on July 1, 2015. I used my new bank card with a new number to pay. This was the first time my card had ever been passed off to anyone. Had only used it at a self-pay previously. Three hours later my husband noticed fraudulent activity on my account while looking at our bank statements to the tune of $535+. I immediately called the bank to stop the card and went to my local branch where after some investigation they informed me that these charges were made on a card printed with my info. Easy to do and is happening all the time to many of us. They suspect that this took place at the Wild Wheat Restaurant after reviewing my statement and told me that someone at the restaurant is taking a picture of my card, front and back, with their cell phone and most likely selling it to someone who prints cards who in turn sells it to people who go shopping. The shopper started off in Federal Way having lunch at Pho Tai, then a coffee at Starbuck's heading up to a mall in West Seattle where they purchased over $300 in electronics at Best Buy, $100 at PetsMart, went to Target, PetPro and stopped off for groceries at a QFC. I have tried contacting the owner, Mark, at the Wild Wheat but they will not put me through to him. Check your bank statements if you've eaten here. read more

Sat down ...no waitress to ask if we would like coffee. Waited waited...the prices are outrageously HIGH! $$$ 3 customers in restaurant and no service. 4 employees no service.... Left and did not eat there..$$$$)$$!!!!! read more

Breakfast/Lunch is always great. But took home one of their Blueberry/Blackberry pie's and it was as good a pie as I've every had. The crust was excellent as was the berry filling. It was everything I good do to not eat it in one day. read more

tried yesterday for lunch. very loud and very cold (was told by waiter that they need to keep air conditioners on so that kitchen staff do not get too warm due to the multiple ovens and thus customers should always bring a coat). chicken was not cooked properly, had to send back and by time it came back from kitchen other people at my table had long finished lunch read more

New to the area, and happy to find this gem! We came in the late afternoon on Sunday, and our waitress was amazing! She recommended the Eggs Benedict and crab and asparagus omelette. We will definitely be back again. Ask for Liz as your waitress! read more

I've only ordered food to go in the past. I would like to express to the owner that the commercial I just saw on TV 3/2/10 prox 7:30pm made me almost jump outa bed to go eat there. Very well done. See ya tomorrow! read more

I eat lunch here at least once every couple weeks. The staff is very friendly and the place is cheery and bright. I love the half sandwich specials that come with a soup or salad. The sandwich is bigger than whole sandwiches at most places. They always bring out bread and butter, which is delicious. The desserts here are awesome as well. They have a display cabinet of good choices. Cheesecakes are my favorites. My wife has also picked up desserts here for parties, and they have been great as well. Prices are a little high, but reasonable for the quality of the food, portions, and great service. I have also been for breakfast and it is great as well. read more

My husband and I went there this morning to try it out. When we walked in we were quickly seated at a very small table. A table that is nig enough to drink coffee at and maybe a pastry. We ordered our meals and we were surprised at how terrible the food was. My husband had the dungeness crab and asparagus omelette and I had the eggs Benedict. He ate 2 bites and it was so icky he couldn't eat anymore of it. I ate 3 bites and couldn't eat anymore. The bread was hard, home fries were burnt, and just a bad experience. As we walked out we were looking through the windows as we were passimg by on our way to the car; we noticed a bike in the back right were theu make their bread. SO GROSS!!! Never again!!! read more

This is what IT is all about. Locally sourced, amazing craftsmanship, great service, welcoming décor! After a wonderful lunch (Chicken Adobo Tostada) I couldn't go home without the fantastic fruit tart. It completed our dinner in a festive and delicious way. Every element of every menu item is creatively developed and expertly executed. BRAVO!!!!!!! The server told us we could hang out at her table as long as we wanted. She was perfectly attentive and respectful of our time together. I can't wait to go back. read more
