We really enjoyed our experience at Wild Oak Grill. I ordered the oak-smoked Old Fashioned, and the first one was excellent. It came out with a nice smoky presentation and had great flavor. I ordered a second one later, but it seemed like a different bartender made it. This one didn't have the smoke and wasn't quite as good as the first. The Wild Oak Burger was really tasty, and the fries had a great texture, although they could have used a little more salt. Overall, we really like this restaurant. The food was good, the atmosphere was enjoyable, and the fact that they're dog-friendly made the experience even better. We'll definitely be back.

Stopped by on a Tuesday evening for dinner with my little family, and we're so glad we did! We've been trying to support more local spots in town, and this one did not disappoint. Our waiter, Uriel, was awesome and recommended the jalapeño cornbread with honey butter--SO GOOD! The perfect combination of sweet with just a little hint of spice. Definitely a must-try! I ordered the hanger steak with chimichurri, wedge potatoes, and sautéed spinach, and everything was cooked perfectly. 10/10! Our son had the birria tacos and really enjoyed them. My husband ordered the ribeye, which was also good, although the hanger steak was definitely my favorite. The cocktails were delicious too! I started with the Watermelon Mezcalito and followed it with a pineapple rum drink that reminded me of a piña colada--both were great! Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere were a 10/10. The restaurant was clean and welcoming, and the entire staff was friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in. We'll definitely be back and will be recommending this spot to friends and family!

Taking a stroll in downtown Morgan Hill and walked up to Wild Oak. I had seen it on Facebook and it was on my bucket list of restaurantes to try, so, today is the day. Ambiance was casual and family friendly. Walked in and we were greeted and sat right away. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The employees were welcoming and friendly. Our server was awesome and geve great customer service. He explained some of the menu items and gave some good suggestions. After looking over the menu we made our choices. DRINKD Piña Del Roble $16.00 Rum, coconut, pineapple, vanilla Tropical island style cocktail with creamy coconut and pineapple. Drink had a strong pour, if you know what I mean. It was not lacking spirit. Enjoyed the coconut and pinapple flavor. Hubbs orderd a beer, however, cant remeber which one, lol. APPITIZERS Jalapeño Cornbread $13.00 Cornbread with jalapeños bakd right into it. It was served with whippd warm honey butter and sea salt. Cornbread was warm flakey and jalapeños did not overwhelm the tatse of the bread. Good choice for a starter. Greek Salad $17.00 Mixed spring greens, topped with Kalamata olives, cucumber, pickled red onions, and feta cheese, with greek dressing. Rally enjoyed this sales. The veggies were fresh and crisp. All the ingredients went well together. Garlic Fries $7.00 Crispy fries tossed in roasted garlic, herbs and olive oil and finished with a touch of sea salt. Thse fries were perfectly cooked and golden brown, just how I like them. Fies were crispy on the outside and fluffy and steaming on the inside. Thy were perfectly sasoned and very satisfying. I woulld come back just for the fries, thats how good they were. While we were there we noticed our drinks and food took a while to come out. I guess they are still working out the kinks from recently opening. Will come again in the near future to give them another chot as their food was good and the drinks were srong spirited, lol. Thank you for the complementayr glass of wine.

New spot in Morgan Hill! Lots of menu choices and food options. The burgers are absolutely amazing and the jalapeño corn bread is the best I've had. Very tasty, served hot ... the way it should be. Service was super friendly and attentive, making the experience awesome. Restaurant was clean and well maintained. Go and give it a try, I'm sure it will be a goto for you as it is now for me!

It's always a pleasant surprise when every single person at the table leaves happy, and that's exactly what happened at Wild Oak Grill. The menu descriptions were spot on, and each dish delivered exactly what we were hoping for. I ordered the Wild Oak House Burger, and it was outstanding. The burger was cooked perfectly, juicy without being greasy, and topped with fresh ingredients that complemented the beef instead of overpowering it. The toasted brioche bun held everything together perfectly, and every bite was packed with flavor. My wife ordered the Blackened Southwest Chicken Salad, which was anything but an ordinary salad. The chicken was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice, and the combination of fresh greens, avocado, black beans, corn, queso fresco, crispy tortilla strips, and the vinaigrette made for a fresh, satisfying meal that was full of texture and flavor. My nephew went with the Morgan Hill Burrito, and it was seriously impressive. Stuffed with tender filet mignon, seasoned fries, guacamole, pico de gallo, cheddar cheese, and their rich brew cheese sauce, it was indulgent without feeling overdone. It was one of those dishes that makes everyone else at the table wish they'd ordered it. What really stood out was the consistency. All three completely different dishes were prepared with care, generous in portion, and exactly as described on the menu. That's not something you find everywhere. Pro tip: If you order the burger, spend the extra $2 to upgrade the regular fries to the truffle fries. They're crispy, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely worth the small upcharge. If you're in Morgan Hill and looking for a place where the food actually lives up to the menu, Wild Oak Grill is well worth the stop. It has a great pub grub bar and grill vibe inside with very friendly wait staff We'll definitely be back to work our way through more of the menu.

We had a wonderful experience at Wild Oak Restaurant in Morgan Hill. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. We ordered the Blackened Southwest Salad and the Hanger Steak, and both were outstanding. The kids enjoyed the chicken tenders and fries, cheeseburger and fries, and butter noodles every plate was a hit! The service was just as amazing as the food. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our meal. Everything arrived fresh and perfectly prepared. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend Wild Oak for a great dining experience!

Adorable little town with a number of open patio sitting. Wild Oak Grill sat us pretty quickly and our server was attentive. The food was good with a good food temperature when it was served. We did not feel rushed at all once we got our food. We look forward to coming back to the area and potentially eating here again.

Everything was BOMB! The hanger steak was cooked perfectly, the mashed potatoes were amazing, and the spinach was so good. And our bartenders Luis and Lucy were hands down the best! Super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Great food, great drinks, and even better service. Definitely a 5-star experience--we'll absolutely be back!

Newest restaurant in downtown Morgan hill. Very nice setup and spacious. I really like the outdoor seating. The food was very solid. I liked the flavor of the French dip sandwich and sauce. My wife's burrito also good and had nice portion size.

    $3 for olive brine!!

This was our second time. My wife loves the loaded nachos, and I love the French Dip. The meat is tender, and the French fries are great. Our server was mediocre at best and almost nonexistent. Instead of checking in with us, we had to ask for more pickled jalapeños, pico de gallo, and the missing olives from my dirty martini. Speaking of dirty martinis, I was charged $3 for olive brine, which is ridiculous. I've never heard of upcharging for olive brine. Attention Bar Management: you may want to rethink that policy.

We saw that Wild Oak opened in our downtown MH last week. We stopped by for a quick happy hour on Tuesday, which was when their happy hour started. And again today for Funday Friday to take our son after picking him up after school. We tried the happy hour food which was pretty satisfying : truffle fries, calamari, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, coconut shrimp and the house special fish & chips. His favorite was the mozzarella sticks because he said it tasty. My favorite was the coconut shrimp because the batter was perfect and the shrimp itself was soft and tender. Hubby's favorite was the calamari. We tried the happy hour drinks: Guava Paloma (very delicious), Chardonnay, Cadillac Wild Margarita, & Lemon Drop Ember. All were very delicious. And spot on. Especially the Guava Paloma. Our waiter today was Nate, who was extremely accommodating and checked on us frequently even though we could tell he was busy with other tables inside and outside. Very good at multitasking and getting his customers what they needed like extra sauces. Thank you.

We had dinner here last night, this is a new place in town. I forgot to take a picture of the food but I had the jalapeño cornbread and the BBQ bacon burger with truffle fries. My son had the ribeye and mashed potatoes. We all enjoyed the food, everything was delicious. The whole restaurant staff were very nice, we were sat right away. The reason for 4 stars is it took a long time to order and it took a long time to get our food. Maybe that will improve with time. We ate outside on the patio, it was a nice vibe out there with the heat lamps.

(Memorial weekend) Friday lunch was packed but we were able to get a table. The staff is very friendly, attentive and helpful. Here's what we ordered: Crispy calamari (10/10) Jalapeño cornbread (10/10) Jalapeño burger (3/10) - thick raw slices of jalapeños, at least use pickled jalapeños -the onions would've tasted better if it was caramelized - the burger patty was greasy, watery and tasteless Prime ribeye (2/10) - very chewy and tough - no flavor - I asked for an upgrade on sides and I chose truffle fries, which were delicious Service 10/10 Would we come back? maybe.

We were greeted by a very friendly waitress. She said we could sit wherever we wanted, asked if we've been in before, and told us about the specials. The interior is cozy, it kind of reminded me of dive bar vibes. They have a lot of drinks on tap and some frozen slushies. I opted for organic iced tea since I don't drink. When I went to the bathroom, I noticed one of the slushies was non-alcoholic so I might try that next time. We ordered the Bourbon Bacon Burger with Chili Cheese Fries and the Supreme wood-fired pizza. The burger was fantastic! The BBQ sauce was delicious, the bacon and onion rings were crispy, and the fries were great. I enjoyed the chili, but I didn't think the cheese sauce or sour cream really stood out. I thought the crust on the pizza was perfect, I really enjoyed the wood-fired vibe and fresh toppings. This would probably be my favorite pizza if they used better mozzarella. For now, Bizza is holding the top spot for me since they use Butcher's Son mozzarella, and in my opinion, it's the best vegan mozzarella sub I've ever had from pizza spots so far. Even though I have notes, I still think the overall meal was a home run and the staff were super friendly so they get 5-stars in my book.

As for service it's really hard to tell who works there or is hanging out at the bar. The waiter that I didn't know was a waiter didn't even say anything when we walked in and I grabbed the menu myself and sat down with my family. Still nothing. We had a party of 4. Finally she came over about 10 minutes in, and asked for our order after seeing we had a menu. The gentleman that brought out meal out asked if everything looked right and asked if we needed anything. Partly thru our meal we were all so hott because it's 100 degrees outside and I guess they don't have Air conditioning so we were waiting for water, finally I went up myself with our glasses and asked for them to be filled. I waited there because I didn't want to risk her taking forever to bring the glasses back to our table. Again, great food but service from the waitress could be better.
