Had my first pedicure ever here and I can verify they do do a good quality job. I have never had gel before but I have seen some bad nail jobs and can say they care about their work and want you to just be happy. To follow up with some of the previous reviews. The cleanliness has room for improvement. The floors had debris and the pictures aren't up to date. They have carpet now and they finished up my painted nails on them, thus my bare feet were on the floor. For sanitary reasons this is not recommended. Someone also commented on the tools not being clean and slightly rusted. This is true. I observed some items that had this. They keep things very tidy but encourage more though cleaning with disinfectant and if it is disinfected to make them appear clean. When tools and equipment begin to look worn down with chips, dents, and show signs of rusting it can discourage your clientele from returning even if it is in full working order. If they take into consideration how others view the establishment and keep things continuously clean and replace tools more often then they could really drum up business and expand. Wild Nails is a hidden gem that is comfortable and relaxing establishment. Unlike other nail salons that are loud and jam packed, Wild Nails is a smaller and quiet which is lovely if you are trying to have girls day and want to chat. Don't be fooled by its size, this nail establishment does great work and takes wonderful care of their customers. I was very happy with my manicure and pedicure and, best of all, their prices are incredibly reasonable. I had to update my review from 5 star to a 2 star place. I used to love this salon, was always my favorite but for the past couple of months, service has not been good. I felt like they are rude nowadays and always rushing when doing my nails. I made an appointment once for 2:30 and I had to sit and wait until 3pm. Lately when I ask to do a cute nail with all rhinestones or glitter (like pictures from Pinterest), she said it's too much and refused to do as many rhinestones as I wanted.. Which made no sense because I was over paying for it regardless, ya know? So I always have to go home and add my own rhinestones and add my own glitter just to get what I want... Ridiculous ...... Just weird how they used to have amazing service and now everybody is just kinda rude. I was a loyal customer but now I'm not sure about this place anymore. read more

They were nice, however my gel manicure peeled within a couple days. I even went back for them to fix it, the same thing happened, and the nail tech told me that they don't why the manicures peel sometimes. It's hard to correct a problem you don't know the cause of. I love getting my gel mani and pedi here! All the technicians do a great job and it's only 43 for both! With it's low prices it's easily one of the most affordable nail salons in MO. They use good quality gel polishes that lasts me a little over two weeks. Their massage chairs and foot rubs are always something I look forward to. Although the most recent technician cut a huge chunk of my finger off while doing my cuticles which is why I'm giving 4/5 stars, this is still my favorite nail place. read more

The nail tech. did a good job with my ingrown toe nail. They charged $10 for the cut and then I tipped her $3. A lot cheaper than seeing a podiatrist. It is out of the way for me, but I think I will return every 3-4 months to trim my toe nails so I don't have to go to a doctor. read more

I have never had a pedicure before and was sure to do my research before I finally settled on this salon. I could not be happier ! Despite being in a non-descript area, the facility has new and clean equipment, and the employees are very friendly too. While their selection of nail polish isn't huge, everything else about the experience was great. The treatment itself was incredibly relaxing (between the massage tub, the scrub, and the wax-like treatment). What surprised me the most was how affordable it was! The other salons I looked up wanted to charge double for the same treatment. I will undoubtedly be coming back and recommending Wild Nails to friends as well! read more

Got a gel manicure here, lasted around 3 weeks (1.5 weeks longer than when I got them done at Banana Nails)... I think it's partially because of when they asked me to wash my hands without soap during the process. Either way, the ladies here know how to give a manicure that lasts! There were literally five people in this place and we were told it would be a 1 1/2 hour wait. Why don't you have all of your employees working on a Saturday morning?? I have been here a couple times and their deluxe pedicures with the wax are amazing. I recently got a manicure with dip powder and tips, and the woman really took care of me. She took her time buffing down my nails so they didn't look chunky, and she was super nice. After I left, I noticed one of the nails was a little crooked, so I called and they got me in right away and fixed it for free. They're pretty inexpensive and they give a very personal experience. I am a road warrior ( travel extensively for work) took 3 SWA flights to get from Boise to St Louis today and headed from airport to Wild Nails. Need a good clean up before tomorrow's meetings . Got the deluxe mani pedi package. Love that masque for the feet. Also super massage chairs that they encourage you to use. Owner was wonderful . I LOVE Wild Nails. I will go nowhere else to get my nails done. They have a decent selection of gel polish colors but what really makes them stand out is the quality of the manicure they give. My nails (save from growing of course) look amazing for 2+ weeks. Half an hour drive from my house and I'll gladly make the drive out on a weekend to get my nails done! read more

When I arrived I'll be the first to admit I was late for a walk-in with only an hour and twenty minutes until the store closed. Most salons probably would have turned me away or rushed the job, but that's not what happened at Wild Nails. They were very friendly and accommodating and did a great job on my pedicure and full set. I've been to places around the city that did sloppy work for almost double the price. Awful experience!! How does this place have good reviews? The cleanliness of this place is questionable. The water was cold. Massage chair wasn't working. She was overzealous with the cuticles and now i just have raw skin next to my nail bed. She filed my nails unevenly and then was offended when I pointed it out. I'm not that picky but this was just a horrendous experience. I will never be back! I suggest you run far away!! read more

This place is a decent place! It is super easy. Two of us went on a Friday afternoon, walked in, and waited about 15 minutes only for a walk in appointment which is completely good in my opinion. They have a whole array of colors, it looks clean, chairs are comfy, and they even give you a personal brush to scrub with when washing your hands. I paid with a card, and tipped with cash, so they accept both. The service was super kind! One of us loved the outcome of our manicure, but the other had several layers painted on and it created this odd line at the base of the nail. Other than that it was a good service. We both had a nail polish that changes colors when exposed to UV light, and found out after we sat down it was $2 more. Not a big deal, I still liked it and went with it, but then realized after the fact it probably wasn't too important given there is not so much sunshine these days. But overall, I am a fan and I will go back! read more

I recently moved to St. Louis from Chicago and have been looking for a good nail salon. I had high hopes for this place based on the reviews. However, my manicurist was rude, cut my nails unevenly, and did a messy job. I had gel paint on my fingers when I was paying. She offered to take it off but ended up cutting my finger with the cuticle scissors instead. Not to mention, my nails were butchered when she scraped off the gel polish from my prior manicure instead of allowing time for them to properly soak. read more

The customer service aspect is great. However, the service itself was very mediocre. My 4 year old niece could have done a better job at painting. I wanted to like this place as it would be a good alternative to the other more popular a nail joints in the neighborhood. However, the gel manicure lasted about 6 days. I am not really active with them and even tried to take extra care with them after seeing how thick and messy the paint job was. The pedicure was even worse. I have NEVER in all of my many experiences have a pedicure last less that a week. Mind you, I didn't go swimming or to a beach or anything. I love their personable demeanor. However the combination of cheap products and lack of skilled workers left much to be desired. I hope they can get the training and products they need to be a stealthy competitor. read more

Really happy with this place. Tried them out, with reservations for two of us for pedicures, on a very wintry day. Felt clean, open, pleasant. Probably half a dozen pedicure chairs lined up on one side and manicure stations across from them. Two women, one man. LOVED the chairs. Kinda couldn't get enough of the massage options! (Controls at your finger tips.) My daughter had a woman and the man did my pedicure and we were both really pleased. It was professional but comfortable and precise. Then we decided to try the eyebrow waxing for my daughter when we realized they offered that too. GREAT job. Overall the pricing was very good compared to choices where I live and we'd go back in a heartbeat. read more
