This is a a very good spot to get your mani and pedi fix! The business is clean. The staff have always been very friendly, careful, and done an excellent job every time I've visited. The price point is very fair. I enjoy the spa chairs, big tvs to enjoy while waiting, and friendly atmosphere. My sister and I have done a sister spa outing here, and had a great, relaxing time...and I've also come for some me time! There is an ample parking lot, but shared with a few other businesses which can get busy. They prefer appointments, but I have walked in a time or two as well, and they kindly worked me in with no issue. It's a good option for their services offered, and I keep going back. read more

This salon has an employee that stole from me. I lost my earbuds there during a service and didn't realize it until a few days later when I was out of town. I could track my ear buds that they were still at the salon the entire time I was gone. I called and the owner told me no one had turned them in. After I was back in town and went to the salon they told me the same although for 6 days they showed up inside the salon. Then they suddenly connected and went blank. I'm assuming this is because whomever took them linked them to their phone instead. The owner and his wife both had matching earbuds and pulled them out to show me but his wife was very shifty about it and wouldn't look me in the eye. He then became indignant and told me how mad he was that I had accused someone in his shop of theft. I was the person who should have been angry not him. What a sad experience, wanted to get my nails done for a trip and left the same way I came in. I was greeted politely and asked what services I needed upon entering. They had an good selection of colors. I was just getting a cuticle cut and dip... finally got seated. Waited about 5 min for someone to come sit which was fine as I was still contemplating a color. Nail tech sits down and starts removing some polish that was left over from my at home nail polish she asked if I wanted tips I said no, then proceeds to rudely ask what was on my nails I just told her it was old polish, she said omg this is like stuck very difficult to come off... like ok lady it's your job relax it isn't a big deal I didn't say anything. Next I had finally picked a color but asked if they had decals she said no decals only design AND I WE DONT HAVE TIME FOR THAT DID YOU ASK THE FRONT? I was like ohhh I didn't know I've never been here didn't know I had to ask. She's like only design and WE DONT HAVE TIME! I've never had a nail place turn down an up sell from a client who is wanting more. I think that's not a good way to run your business, then I told her ok no need for you to be rude then she look at me acting like she wasn't coping an attitude towards me. So I told her you don't have to do my nails if you don't want to, and she walks away and has someone else come over as I'm explaining to someone else the situation she comes over and starts raising her voice and pointing her finger at me, she obviously denies raising her voice but I can tell you she wasn't as quiet as she was when she came up to start doing my nails. So I got up gave her some words and just asked to speak to a manager or owner, was left to speak with the owner, obviously everyone else was very polite and just said sorry what else is there to say, what I didn't like was that at the end of it all he said " I hope you find another place to go to" like wtf!!! I was told that they are by appointment only now, so I make an appointment, and they took 36 minutes to take me. I should have walked out, but I needed my nails done and had no time to go someplace else. While I was waiting they took 2 regular customers before me. My nail tech asked how every regular was doing but never even looked at me to talk to me or ask me how I was. This is the reason I stopped coming here the first time!!! If you're a regular, they will give you a drink and be super kind to you, and if you come in every few months or are a new customer, they could care less. I understand this business runs off of regular customers, but I've never gone to another nail salon and have been treated the way I do here. I keep coming back every few months because they really do a great job with nails, but this is my last time and I will be spreading the word as to why. I rarely leave reviews on businesses, especially bad ones. Unfortunately I stopped in Lyn's Nail Salon for a dip powder manicure. I have been going to another nail salon for years and decided to try this one on a recommendation from a friend. The salon was clean, had nice decor, comfortable chairs and had an easy check in system. I was immediately put with a nail tech. This is where things went south. It took her an hour to soak off my previous powder! She just kept filing and then soaking, filing, and soaking...my poor fingers were so tender by the end. I told her I really needed to hurry because my kids were home. She then took another 45-60 minutes to complete the service. The tech was sweet and just kept saying "next time I do better for you." Hands down the worst looking nails ever. Each one is uneven, thick, lumpy, and rough texture. I left almost in tears bc I spend so much time in this salon only to leave with nails so wide and thick my friend said they look like toenails! They refuse to refund me my money, and I refuse to come back in to have them fixed. I was told they would have to be removed and redone. I just can't risk it. I have an appt tomorrow to have them fixed with my regular nail salon. I would not recommend this salon unless you know exactly who to see read more

The biggest problem I've encountered with other dip manicures is that the nails always end up so thick, but the ones Lyn did for me are perfectly natural looking, smooth, and not bumpy. Came here from out of town due to having a wedding and didn't have time to go to my normal nail place back in Houston. Came on Friday at 10 am, almost a 30 minute wait. No big deal, I was a walk-in. The tech lady was very rough with my cuticles, that they were still bleeding an hour later. The gel is past my cuticle on some nails, she was definitely rushing since they were busy. Overall not a great experience but hey, the gel manicure was only $30 so there's that. If I'm ever in town and need a manicure, will probably go back but definitely with a different tech. read more

Don't let the average storefront fool you. This place is such a find! This salon is anal retentive tidy, well-stocked and well-managed. Treated my mom to gel mani-pedis. Lyn Nail Salon treated us to excellent service and attention to detail. Hannah and Helen were our nail technicians. They both do beautiful work--Helen recreated a glitter French tip look I found online! We were six minutes late for our Friday 930a appointments and the place was already more than half full! The staff works efficiently without making clients feel like they're being rushed thru. After our wonderful experience here, I now understand why it's such a popular salon! Most of them know me, so they know I wasn't trying to get over on anyone. But, the main guy was not very nice to me. I said I don't understand why I'm paying for gel which they charged me $5 For when I didn't ask for it. His reply was "You can go somewhere else next time". This was my favorite place, and I won't be going back. Customer service is key. Treat people kind and with respect. Both times the same exact thing happened! Within a week both times I've had a nail pop off. This time I've had three nails come off in a total of 9 days.
