I've been a customer at C&K for several years. I always get a french dip manicure with Yvone and a regular french pedi with Amanda. I'm very particular and they always remember the little details...my preferred shape, length, width of the white tip, etc. I'm very rough on my nails (construction work, pool chemicals, no gloves, etc) but Yvone works miracles and they hold up great! Their prices are very competitive. The ladies do an awesome job, are very friendly and sweet as can be. I'm shocked to see anyone give anything but a 5. I've seen Yvone bend over backward to accommodate requests to change appointments even though she's booked solid, redo a nail she feels wasn't perfect or a client bumped after they left, and tolerated attitudes of rude clients. As for Covid protocols, masks are ALWAYS required, plastic partitions are in place, hands washed, surfaces wiped between clients, etc. I won't go into a grocery store but I'm comfortable having my nails done here. LADIES!!! (And gentlemen).... if you haven't been here yet, you should! Yvone is absolutely amazing. This salon is convenient, clean, and beyond courteous. She can do any design... anything! (If you're into that). Over 100 gel selections (not sure exactly how many, but too many to count!) The prices are better than other salons I've been to in the past, and the service is better than anywhere else. Go by and check it out.... walk ins are welcome, but I suggest an appointment. I love the job Yvone I have been with Yvone for more years than I can count and I keep going back because she knows what she is doing and she is very very good at it. I don't know any other nail salon where the Owner/techs goes out of their way to make sure that you are happy. I've been going to Yvone for atleast 10 yrs, she does a great job on my nails and she really cares about her customers. I occasionally bring my 6 year old daughter to get her nails done and they are so patient with her when she messes them up a few times before we even leave the salon. I make the drive from Creve Coeur to South County even though there are plenty of closer salons in my area because she is not only great at what she does, but her customer service is beyond compare.
