First time here and am definitely going back! Most reasonable gel manicure price I've come across. Katie was my nail tech and she was great. Easy to have a conversation with and did a great job, ensuring my nails were top notch before I left. Also with the Coronavirus going on- all techs are wearing masks, you wash your hands upon arrival and your temp is taken. Made me feel very safe and clean! read more

Not a great experience. The technician was inept at using the rotary tool when filing down my old dipping powder and took a chunk of the skin from the side of my index finger, it bled profusely. The owner quickly assisted with the antiseptic. My nails are uneven in length and there is excess product stuck all along the sides of my nails. Two stars since the owner took $15 off the $50 total bill. read more

I wish I had a photo to show the great work they do here but sadly I moved farther away and haven't been able to make it back out to get my nails done. I'm picky with my nails and hesitant to try new locations! C & K never disappoint! I usually got gel dip nails sometimes with acrylics some times without. Other salons would drive me nuts with excess gel hanging over the edges and sides of my nails I'd have to file off later- Not C&K!! They always make sure their work is impeccable! I was once running out of time before a vacation and was working doubles before I left, and they worked with me to get me in and even stayed after hours doing an awesome starfish design for my beach vacation! It turned out super cute and I was so grateful they worked with me! They do great work, are phenomenal people, and if you start coming here to get your nails done you become part of their family. Cannot recommend them enough! read more

The service is actually so terrible that I know several people who think it might be some sort of tax shelter. It especially fun that the owner replies to all bad reviews by saying that they can't find record of the customer's visit. She also asked when the original visits were, but then STATED the time frame that it had been, quite specifically. I don't like businesses that are rude to customers AND lie TO AND ABOUT the customers.

When he asked what service I wanted, I said a manicure. He then insisted I had acrylic on my nails. I think I know what's on my own nails, and being corrected about something that wasn't true came across as dismissive and unprofessional. Customer service matters just as much as the quality of the work, and unfortunately, this salon fell short on both. With so many excellent nail salons within a few miles, there's no reason to spend your money somewhere that doesn't make you feel valued. After giving this salon multiple chances, I won't be returning.

It's a clean, small space but it's got everything you can imagine. There's plenty of parking in front of the salon. Tiffany was my stylist, and I was warned that she was going to charge more than the other stylists due to her experience (note -- all stylists charge differently based on this). As a Californian who has paid way too much for the simplest of cuts, I can genuinely say Tiffany's surcharge was 1000% worth it. She was so kind and personable, and that really made the experience. She gave me her honest thoughts and was very communicative throughout the process. She really gave me the exact hairstyle I asked for after barely flashing her a photo, and I'm so endlessly impressed! Despite constantly cycling through short hair, I've actually never liked myself in it very much. However, Tiffany's work allowed me to feel more confident in rocking a short cut than I've ever felt! I booked and paid $90 specifically for a curly haircut, which is a reasonable price in this area for a true curly specialist service. However, what I received felt more like a standard haircut rather than a curly cut. Before the appointment started, I thoroughly explained what I was hoping to achieve: more curl definition lasting beyond wash day, guidance on styling techniques, and a haircut tailored specifically for curly hair. Despite this, my hair was cut wet rather than dry, and there was no curl-by-curl shaping or specialized curly cutting technique used at all. As the appointment continued, several things made me question the stylist's experience level with curly hair. My stylist, Anna, seemed unprepared for the appointment. While styling, my hair was already drying and becoming frizzy in the front before products were even fully applied, and I had to point out that it needed to be re-wet. She also did not have her own diffuser and had to borrow one from coworkers. I had specifically mentioned that curl creams tend to weigh my hair down, but one was still used during styling. The diffusing process itself was also very uncomfortable, as I was instructed to hang the lower half of my body off the chair so my neck rested against the back of it. By the time my hair was almost fully dry, it honestly looked very similar to how it did when I walked in -- like I had showered, slept on wet hair, and done nothing else to style it. That was extremely disappointing after paying for a professional curly hair service. Anna could tell I was unhappy, and to her credit, she was kind and tried to fix things by washing the product out and attempting a blowout instead. Unfortunately, I still left with poorly styled hair. The face-framing pieces were going in different directions, and the overall result did not look professionally styled. I do want to emphasize that Anna herself was very sweet and pleasant throughout the appointment. However, when charging $90 for a curly haircut, a certain level of expertise and preparation is expected, and I do not feel that level of skill or knowledge was there. When booking, I specifically told the salon owner I was looking for an experienced curly hair specialist. I was told Anna was newer to the salon but had experience with curly hair and many happy clients. I truly hope this experience was just a one-off, but based on the multiple issues throughout the appointment, it did not feel like someone with advanced curly hair knowledge or technique. The owner did initially reach out afterward to try to rectify the situation, which I appreciated. However, after I responded, I unfortunately never heard back again. I had been very excited to come here because I've heard so many wonderful things about the salon, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I truly hope they take this feedback seriously because the salon itself has a great atmosphere and very kind staff.

I've been a customer at C&K for several years. I always get a french dip manicure with Yvone and a regular french pedi with Amanda. I'm very particular and they always remember the little details...my preferred shape, length, width of the white tip, etc. I'm very rough on my nails (construction work, pool chemicals, no gloves, etc) but Yvone works miracles and they hold up great! Their prices are very competitive. The ladies do an awesome job, are very friendly and sweet as can be. I'm shocked to see anyone give anything but a 5. I've seen Yvone bend over backward to accommodate requests to change appointments even though she's booked solid, redo a nail she feels wasn't perfect or a client bumped after they left, and tolerated attitudes of rude clients. As for Covid protocols, masks are ALWAYS required, plastic partitions are in place, hands washed, surfaces wiped between clients, etc. I won't go into a grocery store but I'm comfortable having my nails done here. A trip to C&K was the FIRST thing I wanted to do when restrictions were lifted last spring! read more

Wow! I recently moved here from Florida, and looked at reviews in Yelp. This place was so clean, Yvonne was super nice, professional, she's a baseball fan! Love that! Her work is 100% TOP NOTCH! So glad I found her. She was meticulous and so fun. Can't wait to see go again! read more

I recommend to all! Owner is very friendly & salon is very clean. They have the largest selection of gel polish & nail art I've seen in the area! If you are picky this is the place for you they are amazing! I have my license & will only come here. Love it! read more
