Mostly I get the same thing, sometimes adjusting the color lighter or darker and the length longer or shorter. The salon is beautiful inside and has a great view of the trees outside. New customer and had stylist, Anna! Called to make an appointment and was greeted by a very friendly voice. Was asked what I needed and was told who would be my stylist and how soon would I like an appointment. Was very happy that Anna was free the next morning. Walked in the next morning and was greeted by a friendly young lady who said Anna would be right with me. Anna is a very friendly and enjoyable person to have done my hair. I showed her a picture of what I wanted done. She did it perfectly, so very happy with the cut! read more

Started going to Salon C'est Moi and was very pleased due to the ammonia free hair color. After coming about 4 times in a row on my next appointment while getting my usual hair colored, I smelled a strong odor of ammonia that was actually burning my eyes. I asked the beautician about it, and she promised me it was not ammonia hair color. She lied because my hair started falling out after that visit. The only reason I came to the salon was to get my hair colored by an ammonia free product that I was promised. Ammonia makes my hair fall out. I was extremely disappointed as it was not cheap. I will never go back nor recommend this salon to anyone. read more

I drive a long way to see Johanne. Her salon is worth the drive! She is always so welcoming & remembers what we talked about at my last appointment. She always knows how to make my hair look its best! The salon has all the features needed to make their clients look their best, without being stereotypical. It just reminds me of a cottage with a cozy spot that's close to a big bay window. You can sit and relax while your hair is processing. You can tell the salon is not where someone goes to work. What a nice Aveda Salon! I have long naturally curly hair which has to be cut a certain way to lay right. Sara cut and styled my hair and it looks AMAZING! The best haircut I've ever had. I LOVE this salon! I have been going here since they opened a couple of years ago. Ashley has been doing my hair since she was at her previous salon. She's been giving me great service for going on three years now. When I first lived in the Saint Louis area I had NO idea where to go to get a good hair cut. I saw a girl one day that had awesome hair so I asked her where she goes. She told me the name of the salon and to ask for Ashley. The rest is history! =) Other than Ashley, I can only think of two other people that I really trusted with my hair my whole life. It can be so scary trying out a new place and a new stylist. Believe me, I KNOW! I have had some bad hair cuts. I assure you that you are in safe hands here! Even if I ever end up moving away, I hope that I'll still be able to make it out every six weeks or so so that I don't have to get a new hair dresser. And as I have thought for a long time, going to the hair salon is WAY better than therapy! =) read more

Should have stuck with Heritage or Illusions Salon. My wife spent almost $300 and ended up with almost no results whatsoever aside from frizzy, damaged hair. We explicitly showed them the style/color that we were looking for. With Coronavirus situation, my wife had been overdue for her usual Salon cuts/style, she had colored her own hair a couple of times during these months and had better results than this place. They might be good for classic cuts, but if you are looking for a contemporary styling, new trends, and stylists that keep up with new times. Stay clear of this place. Sorry, wish I could have given a better review! But, you can't masquerade as an upscale Salon and provide such amateur results. read more

I called up on a whim when my usual stylist (in a different salon) wasn't available until after the holidays. This is around the corner from my house and they could take me that evening. Again, I should know better. I had collarbone length hair. I wanted juuust-above-the-shoulders lengths hair with some layers to freshen up. Relatively simple cut, as far as I know. I have fine hair and it's mostly straight. There is literally nothing to it. 2 hours later, the stylist is still snipping, and I'm repeatedly drawing her attention to spots that are longer here, bulky there, now it's longer on this side, is this a chunk missing or is it the way it's drying? Ugh. At one point, when she was using the texturizing scissors, a whole chunk of hair fell off and I caught her face in the mirror; She definitely did NOT think that much would come off. Nonetheless, 2 hours to cut 2 inches of fine, straight hair seems excessive. Instead of just-above-the-shoulder hair, I now have a just-below-the-ears bob. Boxy, no layers, frayed, frizzy ends. It's awful. Again, I could have asked, but I find it incredibly poor customer service that whomever answered the phone did NOT mention that this stylist was new. Granted, I don't know if she IS new, but she did NOT seem skilled or confident. She fumbled around a lot and had to check, recheck and go back to fix her work. Is it not best practice when a new customer calls that you ask them which stylist they would like, or which "level" stylist they prefer? It should be. You're letting the customer down. Lastly, the website indicates that a cut starts at $23. I paid $45. I would assume that a new stylist starts at the lower price range. Yes, it took her 2 hours, but that was due to her skill, not because I asked for a difficult cut. I'm normally pretty fair about this stuff, but the only highlight of this experience was the shampoo. I will not be going back. Best of luck to the stylist I had though. read more
