    Beer Flights
    Sarah B.

Great location for a chill evening! Came here with a few friends, and we split 2 flights. Here is our review of the current draft list: 1. Hatch- Classic cider. Tasted fine, not too sweet, not too dry. 2. Fire Belly- Mango Habanero cider. This was all of our favorite. The habanero is prominent, but not so intense that it takes over the taste. 3. Crispy- Granny smith vibe. A nice twist on a classic apple flavor. 4. Scones- Blueberry-vanilla flavored cider. Notes of lemon too. Very sour beer-esque, but in a good way! Flavors were subtle, but mixed well. 5. Coba- This was another one of our favorites. It's their pineapple-coconut cider. The initial taste is similar to a lite beer, but the aftertaste has the pina-colada. 6. Chute- Tastes like a cherry sour. A bit sweeter. Very enjoyable! The staff was very helpful and friendly, and each flight was only $13 a piece. Would definitely come again, and look forward to trying their new flavors as they come out!

    Hatch, Willow, Bloom

My husband and I stopped by here on a late Sat afternoon for a tasting. We chose the Hatch, Willow, and Bloom (seasonal) and sat outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. Our favorite by far was the Bloom. We were excited to learn that Wild Hare has trivia night on the 2nd and 4th Wed of the month and can't wait to check it out! The location is great (near Firework pizza and lots of other delicious smelling restaurants).

1800s log cabin filled with fun games and delicious cider

So much fun! What a historic little gem! It's an 1840s log cabin, folks. It doesn't get much cooler than that. Plenty of nuanced ciders on tap, and many options available are dry. I liked everything I tried in my flight. They have a fireplace filled with games, which really occupied my kiddos while we hung out. There's a bathroom, too, which I think is kind of rare for 1840, so perhaps it was added after the fact like the cider taps ;) Because of its location near all the other businesses in Market Station (the big boardwalk thingie that houses Tuskies downtown) plenty of places deliver food right to you! We got pizza from Fire Works without even having to get up. Cider and a pizza in an 1840s log cabin? Now that's my kinda Saturday.

I love the presentation of their samples and I love the sunshine!!!

Such a cute location - tons of outdoor seating and options for takeaway. The parking is right across the street and there is no cost! They are also right next door to a brewery so if cider isn't your thing but beer is - there are options for all the draught lovers in your life. They experiment with tons of fun flavors so it's not your ordinary cider - they have the classic (Hatch) and then they have mango infused and also holiday specialties like the Uncle O'Grimacy for St.Patrick's day which has mint, vanilla, and sugar and is surprisingly delicious!!! Stop by to try some on their L shaped deck which has plenty of sunshine and seating or drop by foe a Growler ($30) or large bottle ($18) All great options and while you're there remember you're supporting local and that makes all the difference!!

Located in a 19th century log cabin in Leesburg is a local hard cidery. They have a small indoor space with high tables, a restroom and a section of board games. You can order their ciders on tap or order a tasting. My wife and I ordered a tasting of all six and enjoyed them. Each cider was unique and ranged from more sweet to dry. They even have a spicy one! Since the pandemic is still going on, we sat on their spacious outdoor patio.

Inside - Fire place with games

From the second we walked in, we received friendly service. The bar tender was knowledgeable and explained the different beverages on tap. The inside is small, rustic and clean. Music played and the vibe was chill. This would be a great place for a date. It's quiet and they have games to play while you sip coder and mead! Several high top tables with bar stools and two regular tables. Probably not good for a large crowd, but for a group of 2-6 this would be a fun spot to grab a brew! Pro tip - they allow dogs INSIDE!

We were the only peeps in the place. Wide variety of ciders. I was hoping for a flight. Instead we just ordered different flavors and passed the drink around the table. Inside, not much of a vibe. We decided to sit outside.

I really liked the cider here (not super sweet) and it's a cute little cabin but the vibes were...off. The person working was sitting in the corner in his phone the whole time watching tiktok videos and it was really loud. He also kept changing the music. However, he was very nice and provided good service when we needed it. They have outdoor seating and games which I is always a plus.

What a pleasant surprise. Hidden at the back of the Tuscarora complex this cosy log cabin now hosts the Wild Hare Hard Cider Cabin. Dog friendly inside and out, we were sold even before we stepped in with Scout, our Welsh Terrier! What used to be a quaint doll shop is now home to a very social hard cider establishment. The feeling as you walk in is very warm and welcoming, complementing the log cabin with adequate contemporary materials and design. The drinks are very exquisite flavors, such as ginger and lime peel, hopscotch, mango habanero, and more. You can get them by the glass, try a sample flight of three or buy a bottle. Pastry from Dolce and Gabana, South Street Under, and Nordic Knot pretzel is available on different days. Great addition to the Leesburg culinary landscape! Posting this after after drinking beer at the Crooked Run opposite, and a flight of hard cider here, so apology for any typos , but we're very happy!

Great cidery in Leesburg. Came through in a Sunday afternoon around three looking for some drinks and food. We loved the look of this small shop, it's cabin like and comfortable. My husband and I both ordered flights of different ciders. I felt like the pours were generous for tastes. The cider at wild hare is on the drier side, which we like. Only one of the ciders on tap that day was lightly sweet, which was a nice change. Overall we found each of the ciders good though in the end I liked the lightly sweet one the best. There was also one with grapefruit scent that was tasty. For food, there was a man just outside with a table set up with three items to pick from. We were super hungry so we ended up getting one of each they were beef sliders-which my husband enjoyed, pork tacos- which I found to be perfection in taco and some bacon macaroni &cheese-which was delicious. Bottom Line: Would definitely return for cider and a meal!

I really enjoyed this place, it's cozy and the seating areas is clean. The bathroom (I'm told) is super small, so if you're a big guy, don't go in. LOL. As for the cider, really like this place! We tried the Hopscotch, Galaxy, Hatch, and Saxby. We enjoyed all of them. My personal favorite is the Hopscotch since it had a meade flavor to it as well as cider. The saddest part is I wanted to get some to go but they ran out of the cans. I also liked to buy a glass from the cidery or winery I visited, but sadly they do not sell their glass for me to take home as souvenir. Which is another minus in my book. Hopefully they will consider selling the glass one day.

Four flight consisting of: Coba, Willow, Ramble, and Docksider (left to right)

First time here. One of many breweries in the area. Worth the stop. Nice cozy little spot. If you want a break from what's happening outside walk in and have a seat. They have a good number of table games for you play with friends. Very welcoming, and friendly staff. We did a four beer flight consisting of Coba, Willow, Ramble, and Docksider. In my opinion all smooth drinks and nothing overwhelming. Recommend stopping in if in the area.

I have been here a few times and I am never disappointed. I always get a flight because I like to try the new flavors. All of the ones I tried this time are labeled in the picture and they all tasted like what they said. I enjoy coming back to this place when I visit Leesburg. Be sure to stop in and buy a few ciders.

Not a single person in our party enjoyed a single flavor out of 6. This isn't just personal preference, the taste is bad. A number of reviews reference the taste of nail polish remover and I have to agree. The two stars are only because of the nice workers. I would not recommend to anyone.

The drive is mostly gravel so be cautious if you're worried about denting your ride. They have a large space with picnic tables under some shaded areas so you can have sun poke through depending on the time of day. There were an inordinate amount of gnats flying around and that definitely hampered the vibe. Ordering is at the front close to parking on a hill/grassy area. Staff were taking orders through the windows and were pretty quick to get things out. The prices weren't worth what we received, in my opinion. Some of the ciders were okay but nothing was as good as many of the options on the market these days. Either tasted watered down or had some odd after tastes. The flight came out to $18 and change with tax and definitely was not what I would expect with 4 smallish pours. I will say the pretzel was larger than I thought but part of ours was overbaked and inedible because it was so hard/tough. The cider donuts were pretty good. I saw a cheese and cracker box next to us and that seems like a legit deal - would recommend that! The N/A cider slushy was good, too. I won't add this to my list of must sees next time I'm in the area but happy to have tried it out. They have a stray cat that was walking around and it was a big hit with kids and adults alike.
