Horchata chai and donuts from a Fluffy Bakery pop-up
    Julia S.

I might possibly have fallen in love with horchata chai. If you've tried it, you won't blame me a bit. If you've haven't, you should really consider it (unless you don't like sweet and spicy soul-comforting hugs in a cup). I came here to meet some friends and enjoy the lovely fall weather. It was easy to find parking on the street (bonus!). It was a truly fun experience. While there's tons of seating inside, we opted to sit outside, where there are picnic tables (covered and uncovered) and chairs that surround what I think are fire pits. The coffee shop is right next to the brewery, so we had fun looking at all the options available. They're truly extensive, and in addition to the classics, there are tons of creative options as well. Great, friendly service, too!

LOVE Wild Grind Coffee. We visited on a Wednesday morning and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and super helpful when it came to ordering. Plenty of seating inside and outside. You can also bring your dogs inside! I ordered the Neapolitan latte which was so delicious!

I was excited to try this local spot once again! It is a popular place for morning meetings and I can see why! Nice natural light and casual vibe with nice seating options, indoor and out. The service is kind and quick, but I'd say it isn't my favorite coffee in town. I tried the You Betcha iced coffee with maple syrup and sea salt -- it was nice to try but I probably wouldn't personally opt for it again. I'd stop by again to try something different, but think the main appeal is a nice meeting spot.

Overall, it's a great space to work from, hang out, sit outside, etc. It has a really bright and welcoming atmosphere, with big garage doors that make it an open space. The baristas were really friendly and helpful. I went on a cool summer day and wasn't expecting it to be open like that, so I was pretty bummed we couldn't stay long because I was freezing sitting inside. I tried the seasonal blueberry basil latte, which was too milky for me-- I could barely taste the espresso. The syrup was great, it just tasted like more of a steamer than a latte. I also can't justify paying $1 everytime for alternative milks when the coffee is already $6+ and normally return to places that have that as a free option. My partner got the cosmo and Wanda which was super pretty!

Hidden gem in the city. Honestly didn't know this place existed until a friend invited me. Super open space, friendly staff and a ton of choices to meet your caffeine needs! I got the Kiss of Sage coffee and it was from heaven. Came at the perfect temperature too! Love the open picnic table seating. There was also a small vendor as well! Good for groups!

This place definitely had some Wild Grinds! This vibrant coffee shop/brewery cross over was a hidden gem. The decor really leaned into the warehouse vibe and I love that it was dog friendly. They have a great outdoor space with a covered area. I tried the coffee flight, which was definitely a little gimmicky but I thought it was fun. I was surprised they gave us 3 full sized (I think 8oz?) coffees to try. I expected way less. If you do this I may recommend sharing with a friend because it was too much caffeine for one person. In terms of flavors, they were seasonal and definitely played into the cute names/insta worthiness. I thought the kiss of sage was super interesting and really liked the kick in the midnight in cayenne. I personally wasn't a fan of the peppermint mocha one. You could tell they used a syrup for the flavor and it separated a bit at the top (my friend really liked it though). Overall, really enjoyed the ambience and would definitely recommend trying it!

Large, open space with unique seasonal drink options. Seemed like a popular space for working on a Monday morning. I decided to get the flight so I could try a few seasonal drinks. The barista was helpful in making all the drinks vegan. The regular chai ended up being my favorite, as the other two just weren't my jam. However, their new winter seasonal drinks look fun and I will deff revisit to try new creations.

What an interesting coffee shop! There was plenty of seating indoor and outdoor! Not a lot of parking lot space but it's easy enough to park in the surrounding area and walk I wouldn't be worried! I thought the building layout was interesting and the ambiance was modern and colorful! Now onto the important things, the coffee was very nice! Came out nice and hot! I got the golden latte and it was well flavored! The texture was smooth and not powdery. I enjoyed my coffee from here! Would come again!

Solid choice for coffee or matcha. Have a good variety of offerings on the menu. Dog friendly. Outdoor/ indoor seating. Get here early, line gets long in the later morning especially on weekends. Pop up bakery was great! I really like the cosmo and Wanda matcha.

Such a great place with great people working there. Very helpful and patient to explain everything, answer questions. Definitely a new favorite place with a comfy, welcoming vibe. I was at the Richfield DMV and needed a treat for withstanding that mandatory adulting requirement... and had a little extra time to kill: cue Wild Grind. Wild Grind - I think it named after all the millennials that are trying to do a 'wild grind' in this thing called life. You'll see them sitting around this place at 8:45am on a Friday. I was happy to could find a place that wasn't one of the mainstream places, prices are only slightly higher than what you'd hope for. Trying to live out my pre-single mom days, I was elated to see coffee flights on the menu. Delightful and delicious it didn't disappoint. I just wish I had someone to share it with. For some bakery foods and the croissant may have taken me back to my excursion days in my 20s backpacking across Europe. Look up the website. Looks like they turn into a wine and brewery at night. I'd try them again! Hope you take a chance on them too.

Wild Grind is such a fun spot! I tried the Blueberry Basil latte, and it was super refreshing. The atmosphere was fun, and I loved that the doors were open, letting in a nice breeze. Only critique was the parking was pretty slim pickings. Nonetheless, definitely worth a visit!

    Is this place dog friendly?

Yes, at least in the summer from what I'm aware. Their coffee bar/seating opens up (big commercial doors) to the outside so bringing your doggo should be fine as long as they are outside.

I used to live in the area and when the small coffee shop opened I was so exited to have that in our community and was happy to support them - even if some coffee beverages were top dollar. I was in the area today, and decided to stop in since I no longer live in the area and wanted to enjoy a good brew. Unfortunately, the experience I had left me leaving with a bitter taste in my mouth - and it wasn't from the coffee. I thought it goes without saying, but when a customer greets you, you should greet them back, not just stare. It would be even better if your staff would greet each customer first - make them feel welcome. Maybe I'm a millennial channeling boomer energy, but for years I'm noticing the customer service disappearing from a lot of businesses. I love that connection, but I'm understanding that some people see only a paycheck and skid by with minimal customer service and that is the new way. I don't plan to visit this establishment again. I wish the barista with star tattoos would have put in enough customer service energy that she did with her impeccable makeup.

The coffee was delicious and service good. My husband and I both ordered the seasonal "Shakespeare's Fool" which was delicious in decaf and regular. The latte art on top was a plus! The only downside or thing to know is that this location will not accept Spyhouse giftcards because it is part of the hotel. I came wanting to use one, so this was a bummer but I understand and the barista was very apologetic. As a side note about the business, it's impossible to check your giftcard balance online. So while I'd like to use my giftcard, I'm unsure if I will realistically be able to soon!

The miso cortado was delicious and really stood out, and they have a great variety of specialty drinks. The service was also extremely kind and welcoming, which I genuinely appreciated. That said, the space didn't quite live up to the hype. The location felt a little unfinished. Minimal decor, unfinished flooring, and no truly cozy seating made it feel less like a place you'd want to settle into for a while. While they encourage people to linger and don't offer Wi-Fi (which I respect), the ambiance doesn't quite support that intention. It felt more like a quick in-and-out stop, even though that doesn't seem to be their goal. The atmosphere was chill, with vinyl records playing in the background, which was a nice touch. I just wish the overall design and seating matched that relaxed, stay-awhile vibe. Great coffee and kind staff, but the space itself didn't fully align with the experience I was hoping for.
