    Pad Thai with beef
    Dwight O.

My wife and I tried WG for lunch. I had the honey sake chicken while she tried the Pad Thai. My meal was perfectly acceptable and it made for a nice lunch. It didn't leave me with an impression where I need to go back to experience that flavor profile again and I'll try something new the next time I'm there. The pad Thai was a different story. Everything was visually correct as to what you'd expect and it looked fantastic. Upon eating it, it was the most flavorless thing I might have ever had. It really seemed like they forgot something. I like restaurants like this and will try again at some point.

Appetizers! Edamame Pork Belly Bao Bun
    Shelby T.

Staff is very knowledgeable about allergies. The spicy edamame is delicious. Others at the table got the pork belly bao buns and said they were delicious as well - tender meat, fluffy bun. For my entree I got pad Thai. It's an enormous serving. I forgot to snap a picture before diving in. Personally I would've liked it a little saucier but it's still good! In the future I'll probably just get the veggie option because the chicken was a bit dry. And for the Diet Coke community , they only have Coke Zero.

We come every year for Valentine's Day lol. Good food, excellent service, amazing drinks. I'm just keeping a record of what we get lol. This is our 3rd year together!

Pork belly Bao , so delicious! Tender with a crispy Szechuan flavored crust, pickled toppings, and so fresh.

Wild Ginger is a beautiful restaurant in Cool Springs with an industrial-meets-nature vibe--think high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a lush garden patio. Today it was perfect for a quiet, cozy, rainy day lunch. I had the pork bao bun appetizer and the Asian slaw. The bao was hands-down the best I've had--tender braised pork with a crispy Szechuan-spiced edge, topped with pickled radish and cucumber, cilantro, and a sprinkle of cashews. Super flavorful. The slaw was fresh and creamy, kind of like a Chinese chicken salad without the chicken--crunchy shredded cabbage, a sesame and ginger dressing, and sunflower seeds for texture. So good. Service was friendly and attentive, and the window view made it extra atmospheric. Definitely a great lunch pick if you're in the area.

Pot stickers and Yoyo Roll - delicious!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Franklin! Everything is always amazing! We started with a yoyo roll and the pot stickers. They were both delicious! My Boyfriend got the Mongolian Beef which we always love. It's flavorful and perfectly balanced with the veggies. I got the lobster bisque and it was phenomenal. I always pair it with the edamame and it's perfect. The restaurant is relaxed and good for having a nice date night. Great ambiance and feels like you have more than enough space. Service is always top notch. Lemon drop martini is also very tasty! We had a great date night!

DO NOT ORDER THE PORK CHOP. I ordered the WRONG thing!! Went home hungry. Lovely presentation of the Pork chop. But half the plate was bland potatoes & spinach & carrots with ZERO seasoning. No salt, pepper or garlic. Then there was a pile of brown squishy something. Just awful. I don't even know what it was. The pork chop needs taken off the menu immediately. My date got the halibut with jasmine rice with mushrooms & cheese. It was delicious. His was so flavorful. I wanted to cry. His entire dish was 10 times better than mine. I took 2 bites & hated my veggies, my potatoes, my pork chop. The whole thing was was bad. Very nice waiter. Not his failt

My absolutely favorite sushi restaurant in the Nashville area. The dishes are all amazing, the Asian fusion twist is delightful! The fantasy roll and dynamite shrimp I could eat every single day! Great flavor and my all time favorite. Their iced green tea is so refreshing, and drink selections are nicely paired with the dishes served. Services is always 10/10, food is never less than perfect and it's a very nice atmosphere. Great for just a basic dinner, date night, or for a celebration.

We went here for my birthday dinner and they did not disappoint. It was a big party and they kept our drinks full and our bellies happy. The sushi was so good. The braised short rib was amazing. I cannot wait to visit here again.

First time trying their sushi - we went with C Four & loved the spice and heat it gave! We stuck with our favorite entree - the Mongolian beef - can't beat it. This was our visit week day visit and were a little bummed they don't have a happy hour offering. Service was quick and friendly, we got a table quickly as we joined the Yelp waitlist ahead of driving in.

From the amazing and attentive service, to the beautiful ambiance of the restaurant, Wild Ginger has always been a favorite place to grab some amazing food. I love ordering and sharing sushi paired with fried rice. We also had the lobster bisque soup in a bread bowl which was a 10/10!

This place is a must try if you're in Franklin, Cool Springs area. It's actually worth a 20 minute drive if you're in Nashville. They have alot of sushi options. Signature Maki, Classic Maki, Nigiri and Sashimi. They have a good selection of Appetizers, Sandwiches, WOK, Seafood and Shore. The ambiance is nice and clean with a modern comfortable feel. They have a full bar with Beer, Wine, Cocktails and Signature Cocktails. The food is always fresh and tasty and the service is always good. The staff are also friendly. They also have a Hot Rock Ishiyaki grill tableside which I still want to try. You pick your protein from Kobe Beef, Scottish Salmon, Yellowfin Tuna or Scallops and you cook it yourself at the table. Kinda cool. We always have a nice dining experience here.

I loved the ambience of this place, we decided to sit in the bar area. I tried the lobster bisque as a starter and it was so good!! For my meal I got the Firecracker roll and Dynamite shrimp. The server was very attentive and friendly.

The sushi is kinda gross. It has way too much rice on the rolls, and isn't very authentic. Service is fine.

Ask the Community - Wild Ginger Restaurant

    Is there a happy hour?

No, so sad! We are here now and it's my first weekday visit but no HH any day of the week.

We will be there in a few weeks. My sister loves your restaurant and plans on taking our family there for dinner. I have a 3-year-old and 9-year-old. I don't see a menu for children. do you having anything that children will eat?

They do not have a kid's menu but have some appetizers that may work.

    Are there any vegan options?

Yes. There are plenty of Vegan options. In addition, this is somewhat of a high-end restaurant. Ask your server if the chef can make a dish Vegan for you. I am certain they will accommodate your request since they make most items from scratch. Enjoy!

He enjoyed it but thought it was too much bread. He prefers when they pull some of the bread out. It had debris and that's probably why he gave them a 4. We shared a side of red beans & rice. He thought the flavors were nice. I did not. It was like playing a game of find the beans. It was overly spicy and resembled a sausage soup. I've never had soupy red beans & rice (that barely had any beans) before so I wasn't a fan. Son got the alligator and fried green tomatoes. He really liked the sandwich. It looked like it had a nice amount of gator in it. The fried green tomatoes were overly spiced (come on not everything in Cajun food is a heat bomb - I'm from New Orleans so I know my Cajun food). Having said that - the tomatoes were done right. Not greasy and the crisp was good. Me - burger and this was where things went sideways and they lost a star. I have food allergies. I very carefully pick places where I can eat and make sure to stress what I cannot have. It's nothing crazy. Seafood, dairy, eggs.... so I chose the burger with no cheese. I don't like pickles or onions so asked those be removed as well. It comes out, no cheese. Yay! But it had so many pickles in it! I spent a good amount of time deconstructing it. Then there was the meat to bread ratio. 1/3 of the sandwich was just bread. I wasn't a fan of how they placed the burger on it. I thought it was a good idea to make a burger po'boy but the burger should have been placed differently or something. So between the "find the beans" soup and the mostly bread burger? I had to give them 3 stars. Ambiance - typical mall restaurant. Service - solid 4 star.

I recently gave my team the option of where they wanted to have lunch and J. Alexander's was the winning choice by far, so off we went on a Wednesday afternoon. This location is fairly large, well laid out, well kept and clean. The atmosphere, menu, vibes and service are elevated, but not pretentious. We had a reservation and were sat fairly quickly. From there, our server was quick to swing by and get us started with drinks and appetizers. We ordered a few appetizers including the Hong Kong Shrimp and a Spinach/Queso dip. Both were delightful and great starts to our meal. The pork chops were top priority for a few of my team, so a few went with the pork chops, another the burger and I went with the steak frites. None of us regretted our choices! Sadly between the appetizers and mains, we were a bit full to have dessert, but the menu sounded great. Service was friendly and helpful, but she was a bit tough to track down when we needed something. Did not detract from the meal, but was noticeable on at least two occasions. Overall, J. Alexander's is a good spot in a good location, and I will certainly be back at some point.
