From the pastel colored walls to the tex-mex brunch menu, even the random egg arts decorating the wall scream comfort and coziness. This place is like a cuter, more polished version of Good Morning Mama's in Broad Ripple. To start, we were greeted by a friendly hostess and waitress. Our coffee and tea came quickly (albeit a bit pricey, but to be expected of a brunch place), and our waters were never empty. The menu looks small I ended up customizing my omelet at a very decent price, and it also came with plentiful diced potatos and a soft warm blueberry muffin. The omelet was fluffy and lightly seasoned (perfect to eat alone or season yourself), but when they delivered the plates, they even custom grinded black pepper on it! Overall I'd definitely return to this place! It's clean, cute and they definitely seem to care a lot about their customers. read more

My bff wanted try breakfast in the area and came across Wild Eggs. With mixed reviews, we decided to it the yelp -review-try at least once! We found the inside to be simple but clean... Fun indication of men's restroom, a pic of a Rooster, and a pic of a Hen for the ladies' restroom. For a weekday at 10am we were seated right away. Served initially with cups of water, we loved that a small clear pitcher of water with lemons are left at the table... helps with our determination to drink more water per day without waiting for refills. After glancing over to another table where a family of two kids were really enjoying a deliciously looking pitcher of freshly squeezed orange juice, my bff decided to order a freshly squeezed lemonade. She absolutely loved it amd couldn't stop talking how delicious it was. She slowly sipped it wanting to make sure she had some to drink when her breakfast comes out. Lol... until she found out there were free refills! I've never seen someone's face beam of such delight over a lemonade! I had a the Chili Verde Huevos Rancheros ( Two eggs any style with green chili, black beans, skillet potatoes, sour cream, pico de gallo, green onion and a warm flour tortilla) and she had a "just right cooked order of bacon" (4 strips) and the Classic French toast which came out with a small our container of warm syrup! "We are not at no IHOP, for sure!" she said. My friend's last words, "I'm so glad we tried some place new. I got the bill." read more

I am always excited and hopeful for Wild Eggs - generally the food is decent --- nothing spectacular or blown away, but solid. However the service always seems to lack, when we get our meals and never see our server again, which is a shame - especially when needing assistance when something missing from your order / meal. I'm sure we'll be back because I'm hopeful! read more

This is the 2nd Wild Eggs I have been to (there's only 2 in Indianapolis right now) and I am pleased to say that the experience was consistent with my initial trip. As the name indicates, this is a breakfast/lunch joint and all versions of egg dishes are represented on the menu. On this occasion, however, I opted for the Nashville hot chicken & waffles. I am a huge fan of Nashville hot chicken, and Wild Eggs did not disappoint me there. What was particularly interesting was that there was actual chicken in the waffle, too. There was nothing I did not like about this dish. Coffee was fresh brewed and delicious (a must for any place that wants to be considered a breakfast spot in my opinion). Get here early (before 10 AM) otherwise you may find yourself waiting in the parking lot. read more

Rounded down from 3.5. I wasn't impressed with the mimosa. For $8, I expect more...a lot more. My husband's latte was way over-flavored with berry flavor. The food was good, but forgettable. I can't remember what my husband had. I had the Surfer Girl omelette and it was good, but not knock it out of the park good. I feel like they have a bit of an identity crisis here. They seem to be somewhere between a Denny's and an actual brunch place. They might do well to narrow their menu a little bit if they're going for a true, exclusive, brunch feel, or keep it how it is and embrace the diner feel. I didn't really know what they were going for. We'll probably try a different place next time rather than going back. read more

Great place for creative, healthy-ish breakfast dishes. Everything tastes fresh, and service is usually good. A lot of options on the menu makes it hard to decide what to choose! read more

If your looking for a great mimosa spot this place is for you. The food isn't anything crazy but it gets the job done and always comes out fast. The real deal are their mimosas. $2 for a glass is a steal and they portion them out well. read more

This place has some delicious breakfast items on the menu. I had the platter that offered eggs, bacon, sausages, muffin, and pancake and they were all perfectly done and tasty. Definitely give this place a try! read more

Good Normal breakfast food. Some really good breakfast nachos! The giant cinnamon roll is a must if you have someone to share it with. The standard place to go. Often long waits during the weekends. read more

The food was five star, but overall there is room for improvement. Environment is functional but uninspiring. The food, however, was fabulous and worth the wait. We arrived around Noon on a Sunday, so our 40 minute wait was not surprising. Although there is no waiting area outside, you do get a buzzer so you don't have to pass your time in the crowded lobby. While waiting, we watched several people pick up "to go" orders and they were clearly regulars -a true testament to the food. I chose the lox and bagel Bennie, which came with a side of potatoes or grits; chose grits of the day which was a savory combination of cheese, mushrooms and chicken. Great flavor and just the right amount of everything. Companion had the chicken and waffles with the hot sauce on the side. He was glad he did; enjoyed it but it was pretty hot. He loved the combination of flavors with the homemade buttermilk maple dressing. With one coffee and a pitcher of water on the table, our bill for two was just under $30 before tip. read more

I loved wild eggs so much in fishers that I had to go to this location. However, I wasn't too impressed. We had to wait 15 minutes before we got our water, another 15 minutes for someone to take our order and then the other 30 minutes for the food to arrive and so on. My husband got the chilaquiles and it was amazing! I got bacon, eggs and gluten free toast which was OK. Bacon could've been more crispier. However, we will go back for the chilaquiles! read more

Carlie was amazing !! Food was amazing!! Overall great experience

Update: Wild Eggs reached out to me to and was generous enough to send me a gift card after my not-so-great first experience. I appreciate the professionalism and dedication to great service that Wild Eggs has based on the fact that they reached out to me. I was eager to go back in and give Wild Eggs another try. My husband went to breakfast on a busy Saturday morning around 10am. We were told the wait was about 15-20 minutes (typical for time of day). We each enjoyed a complimentary cup of coffee at the coffee bar in the waiting area (a very nice touch for a breakfast place). The waiting area is little small, so we decided to wait outside. Once our pager went off we were walked back to a booth and ordered coffee. We each ordered omelets, which came with skillet potatoes and a blueberry muffin. The omelet was very fluffy, the potatoes could have used some kind flavoring that the salt and pepper I sprinkled on was not making up for, and the blueberry muffin was actually pretty good. Would I go back again? Hmmm, maybe. I would interested in try something different on the menu, perhaps one of the breakfast cocktails or one of those yummy-looking cinnamon rolls that I saw from other reviews. Despite being busy, the front staff and server we had were friendly which always adds to a nice experience when you go out to breakfast Things that stood out: A coffee carafe and water with lemon pitcher at the table at the table- love that! The blueberry muffin was really delicious, tasted homemade, and had lots of blueberries.- I recommend some butter for extra tastiness. read more

We love this place! Stopped in this morning and gulped down tons of hot, fresh coffee! Ordered mine with half & half, vanilla and a shot of expresso (the undertow made into a coffee) I'm a creature of habit and always order the wild mushroom with roasted garlic and potatoes. He switches it up and this morning it was the bacon, egg, tomato and avocado sandwich. Def looks better than the pics! read more

One of those places where everything on the menu looks amazing. Went on a Sunday as a belated birthday celebration for my mom with my sisters. As expected, quite the long wait, but definitely worth it! Even with a 45 minute wait, I still couldn't decide what I wanted. We had the Kalamity Katie's Border Benedict, Lox and Bagel Bennie, Chicken & Waffles, and the Wild Mushroom and Garlic Scramble. I had the Kalamity Katie's Border which was unlike any brunch item I had seen before. As recommended, I had to get the everything muffin (which was packed with flavor and served warm). Also subbed the potatoes for their grits of the day which were chipotle chicken grits and went perfect with this meal. Tried my sisters chicken and waffles and the house made hot sauce that comes with it is incredible. Not a chicken and waffles gal, but this one completely changed my mind. Service was a bit slow and inattentive. Seemed like I had to flag someone down every time for something, refills, etc. All in all, good place, well worth the price! read more

Wild Eggs - Kalamity Katie's Border Benedict, Lox and Bagel Bennie, Chicken & Waffles, Mushroom & Garlic Scramble - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Carmel, Indiana

My grandparents and I met up here while they were coming through Indiana. I chose it due to its proximity to the interstate, and it had a good list of breakfast and lunch options. We had a BYO omelet, the Belgian waffle, and the Mexican-style Eggs Benedict. The food was good and I enjoyed the green chili cornbread that my eggs sat upon and the pico and avocado was fresh. I also had a cappuccino with almond milk, which was just okay- the coffee taste itself wasn't great, and the almond milk overpowered it. As a waitress, I'm super understanding of changes that servers have had to make to ensure extra cleanliness and guest comfort level. Wild Eggs as a whole seemed to do a good job of that. However, there were minor service things that could be fixed- we let them know the bathroom was out of paper towel and toilet paper, and by the time we left, it still hadn't be taken care of. Overall- a good place for familiar tasting brunch/breakfast food! read more

It's my favorite breakfast spot. I love the veggie omelet and the breakfast tots. But the COFFEE is so good!!!

Lord oh lord you need to go to this fine establishment. A menu of greatness awaits. Its become the Sunday morning pre and post-baseball stop for us and they do not disappoint. New favorite brunch spot! I love the elective and inventive menu! The place fills up fast, but we were lucky to snag one of the last spots at 9:15 a.m. on a Saturday morning. I ordered the chilaquiles. They had an interesting take, doing theirs more casserole style. I was disappointed when it came out because the dish looked so small. However, it was really filling! Service was fine, nothing special. To be fair, service was pretty good, but after going to their amazing downtown Indy location, I was not as impressed with service here. I was pleased they did not try to stuff our party of five into a small table. They gave us a roomy round table meant for six people. My one complaint was that I ordered my scrambled eggs well done. They came out perfectly fluffy and yellow. This is fine for a person who likes their eggs that way, but I like mine burnt and brown. I'm not sure if our server didn't know what I meant by "well done" or if the kitchen didn't cook them the way she told them to, but it was disappointing. read more

Love, love, love the Mr Potato Head. The breakfast nachos are also delish. Great morning out place.

Perfect for breakfast, brunch and lunch, Wild Eggs will leave you feeling full and content. They offer a full range of choices from the AMAZING Raspberry Lemon pancakes, to spicy Mexican skillets, to staples like Egg Salad. I don't think there is a bad choice on the menu, your only problem will be deciding what dish to choose from. They also offer fresh squeezed oj, several fun cocktails and various types of coffees to go with your meals. The inside of the restaurant is painted in bright cheerful colors with lots of booths, tables and even a small bar section, but this place fills up fast on the weekends. Luckily, they do offer a good sized waiting section that offers coffee while you wait and its a great time to look through the menu and try and narrow down your choices! read more

Wild Eggs - Lemon Raspberry pancakes, they are as good as they look! - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Carmel, Indiana

Piping hot, perfectly cooked eggs. Steamy, lightly crisped potatoes. Spicy chorizo. The most tasty muffin I've ever had. These are just some of the finer parts of the Frito Bandito Frittata I had when dining at the newly opened Wild Eggs in Carmel. Having previously dined at the Wild Eggs in Louisville (and, having had a great experience at said location) my husband and I were thrilled to hear a new Indy location was being built. Make no mistake friends, you will get your money's worth and then some when you done at Wild Eggs! The restaurant is very spacious with plenty of room in between tables. It's so clean and the restrooms are spotless! Service was quick and had that Hoosier hospitality! As mentioned previously, I had the Frito Bandito. A Mexican inspired frittata that's sure to please everyone's breakfast cravings! It comes with an everything muffin, which, admittedly didn't sound totally appealing when reading about it, but much to my chagrin, I was wrong! It was EXCELLENT. It almost had a biscuit quality to it. I asked for some butter to accompany it bc duh. The potatoes were perfectly fine in the middle but not overcooked on the outside. So good. The egg was fluffy and again, not overcooked. My only regret was that they had run out of black tea and I really wanted to sample their breakfast tea selection. Though I didn't order it, they told me there was an herbal and chamomile option. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito, which was perfect fit for him bc my gawd it was a lot of food and man can he eat. He opted for the potatoes instead of frijoles. A nice option! I will definitely make this my new brunch haunt and will suggest the same to others. Be patient on the wait, it's worth it. read more

I had high hopes for Wild Eggs based on the reviews. Gah!!! I ordered the Wild Mushroom Scramble. There weren't any wild mushrooms in it---just sliced crimini mushrooms like you can buy at Trader Joe's. The eggs were overcooked. There was way too much white truffle oil in/on it, also--the whole thing just tasted like white truffle oil. The waiter talked me into having the potatoes (I thought I'd just skip them) and then didn't bring them. He also didn't bring my husband's muffin, so when he went back to the kitchen he also brought the potatoes because "they were just sitting there." He seem mystified when I told him they were cold (they'd been sitting there 10 minutes, duh)....which turned out to be fine because they were also over-cooked and were just cubed potatoes. There were a few slivers of onion, which I suspect were reconstituted dried onion flakes (I can't be sure, but you can imagine). My husband got bacon and eggs and said they were okay. Not sure how a restaurant could mess that up, so I see that as a neutral. We won't be back. It wasn't horrible, but "wasn't horrible" isn't much of an incentive to come back. read more

Bomb! It's just one of my favorite breakfast/brunch places. Menu items are all around unique. I'm over the boring, standard menu items. Best of all, they actually season their potatoes. Nothing is worse than bland carbs. And I do have to admit, they're fresh-squeezed OJ is the cherry on top. I promise, it's not bagged Minute Made. Katie's Calamity Border is one of my favorites and so is the Mr. Potato Head Casserole. read more

My first time here! Well actually ordered take out. I ordered French Toast, potatoes (small and cubed) and turkey sausage. What I liked: Prompt service, friendly, everything was already packed. They had my syrup, ketchup, and silverware all ready, I didn't have to ask What left something to be desired: The food. My French Toast was soggy in the middle and was not very tasty, barely any powdered sugar to.top it off. The turkey sausage patties felt barely cooked when I bit into them. The potatoes were good so I ended ok. Overall I am disappointed but not discouraged. Have heard food things about Wild Eggs so I will give them abother try and just order something else! read more

Food is good, but not great. I ordered the avocado toast, and my son ordered the waffles and chicken.

This is my favorite brunch restaurant ever! The staff is extremely kind and helpful always! Daniel and Jordan are just amazing! Highly recommend, it's very comfortable and family friendly too. Food was very good but the service lacked. I had the waffles and Nashville hot chicken. Great flavor in both and definitely glad I had the hot sauce served on the side. My wife ordered the breakfast burrito and it was huge. She said the filling was more like an egg casserole or soufflé than she expected but she enjoyed it! My daughter ordered the Zax Fried Eggs I Am breakfast. She ordered her eggs over medium and they were slightly under cooked. They were right about the Cinnamon roll - AMAZING!!! Dang I wish I could make them like they do!!! We got the surfer girl omelette which included cream cheese, pico, sprouts, spinach and avocado - took one bite and was extremely underwhelmed. I usually take pics to add to my reviews but didn't bother with this one. There was too much cream cheese, not warm, and it just was overpowering in the bit I tried. I didn't like it at all and I thought I would. Bummer. The avocado wasn't ripe enough yet and the pico was watery. The potatoes were alright nothing special but not bad by any means. The blueberry muffin that came with it and it was pretty good. Overall just eh - not sure I would give it another chance too many other breakfast spots to try out read more

This place is just what Carmel needed! Cozy and nice, it creates a wonderful Sunday morning brunch atmosphere. The wait staff is very friendly and its pretty organized as far as getting a table. I ordered the Mexico City Maria's Chilaquiles, and you're right I couldn't pronounc chilaquiles....but it was delicious! They bring it with a shot of jugo de limon y chile, which in my mind I thought it was just like another sauce..nope its a real non-alcoholic shot. First tip, don't sniff it and secondly its pretty awful ha. Its suppose to like cleanse your pallet or something but it made for a good laugh of me gagging on it. But the meal in its self was amazing! I can't wait to go back and try out some pancakes or omelet... sooo many choices!!! So go check it out, but expect a wait, because its just that good. read more

I love this place. I've been there twice trying both the Mexican City Maria Chilaquiles and Kalamity Katie's Border Benedict. Not sure I could pick one over the other as a favorite. My son had pancakes, which were very good. The skillet potatoes were like most other places; nothing special. The daily grits were disappointing. I believe they were cheese and sausage the day I had them, and were more bland than I've had other places. The everything muffin is very good. What a nice breakfast on a pandemic Sunday. They welcomed our 2 Labradoodles and gave perfect friendly fast service. We shall return!!

Ordered for delivery and it was $80 for a breakfast burrito, quesadilla, side of bacon, waffle & drink. The orange juice we paid $10 for came warm and gross. If you haven't tried their grilled cheese and tomato soup.... you are missing out!!! It's one of the best I've ever had!

I order carry out at least three times a week from here. Today is my last time. I ordered the same thing every time and they even know my name and my previous order. They get it right one out of five times. I pay for avocado I never get I pay for bacon I never get it. As soon as I walk in to get my order I'm greeted by someone telling me "we don't take carry outs" I am extremely easy-going and I tip 15 to 20% every time for CARRY OUT. . In my calculations this location owes me probably $20-30 of unreceived food.. anyway I love wild eggs but this location is a joke. I would honestly love to come back and get breakfast here every day but they can't get one simple breakfast right. So I'll drive further down the road to first watch from now on.
