I've never had a bad experience at B's Bagels! My go-to is the rise and grind on an everything bagel and an iced coffee with almond milk and vanilla syrup. One of my favorite things about this place is that they offer Rivet Coffee and they are my favorite coffee shop in Westfield. The service has always been great and with it being a smaller spot, they are attentive to customers when they are waiting for their orders. The location definitely gives New York Bagel deli vibes, which is pretty awesome because we don't have a lot of that here in Indiana. When I saw that they carried the viral rainbow bagel, I had to give them a try. I tried ordering online. There was some confusion when it came time for me to pay. It was only showing the cream cheese I had purchased not the bagel. I decided to go inside. They had one rainbow bagel left and I got to have it. I also picked up some blueberry cream cheese. I love having a local bagel place near by. I've stopped by for lunch as well and they had a veggie lasagna and delicious cabbage soup. The bagels are really what you come for though. They are chewy, and not too salty and good. I've gotten it before where the slices are not 50/50, and service is still getting work. But I appreciate that they are here. Lots of employees, but only the hardworking one with no hat was doing all the orders. I saw four total employees today -there were hardly any bagels left at 9:45 but hopefully you make more throughout the day. Maybe have a sign in the baskets baking more? People look for these type of restaurants to be speedy and efficient. I left when I came on a Saturday previously because there were too many people waiting for orders. If the pick up line starts to fill your dining room perhaps the cashier should flip around and get some orders out and cream cheese some bagels? Bagel was ok. These N.Y. style bagels are made FRESH in-store, everything is made in-store down to the toppings. I loved everything about the everything bagel. The topping was not too salty (like most other everything bagels). I had the smoked salmon cream cheese on my bagel, which was freshly made with a delicious bites of salmon. They serve coffee and bagel sandwiches as well. The shop is new in a new strip mall. Inside, fresh flowers made the room alive. I briefly spoke with the owner who was graciously seeking input. The staff was friendly and my bagel came out quickly. The shop has a small amount of counter top seating, which was inadequate for the number of bagel lovers lined-up to get their bagel fix. But it looks like more seating is coming. Most people were picking up their bagels to go. There's plenty of parking in the strip mall with handicapped parking available. There are a few nice benches outside, too. I'll be back to try one of the bagel sandwiches. I highly recommend. read more

Three cheers for local, homemade bagels on the northside! On social media, it still says "coming in summer 2024," but I'm happy to announce that they are officially open. When we went, there was a line almost out the door, so I'm guessing they haven't announced it yet on socials for that reason. The owners (a family) seem super nice and were hustling hard to put everyone's orders together. We happily waited in line and ordered multiple bagel sandwiches. They were all delicious. There are breakfast sandwiches, a turkey avocado one, a mozzarella pesto one, cream cheeses, lox, and more. They also had several other baked good options such as a chocolate-chip-cookie-wrapped Oreo, chocolate-covered pretzels, coffee cakes, and more. They also have handmade mandel bread (Jewish cookie), bagel chips, and dori twists (which I'm not sure what these are and would suggest a description). They offer drinks such as water, apple juice, cream soda, organic milk, and chocolate milk. My dream would be for them to also carry a locally cold-pressed juice like SIMPLICITY or 317 Juice too. I'd definitely buy that! We were so excited to see an amazing bagel place come to the north side of Indianapolis. If you have been on the lookout for a traditional NY style bagel, this is your place. The staff here were so friendly and so helpful. Even though they were swamped with customers, they took the time to make sure we were all individually taken care of and happy! I saw this place recently opened and decided to come check them out about an hour before close on a Sunday. No lines BUT not a lot of options either. I think there were one or two bagel flavors to choose from. I decided just to get a plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese. I asked for it not toasted but it was still warm. Fresh, but I didn't love warm cream cheese from bein on the bagel. I felt the bagel was overpriced for the taste. Nothing wrong with it just nothing amazing. I saw they have other fun flavors and more "exciting" cream cheeses so if I came back, I would want to try something else to get a better experience. They also have egg sandwiches that a lot of people seemed to be waiting for. No line to order but a few people waiting for their order even on a Sunday afternoon. TL;DR: Good bagels, the sandwiches are large enough to share, would recommend trying. Double check ingredients if you can't have something. Visits: I've been here three times now, once right when they first opened and the other two times after they had a chance to get a better flow going. They've definitely improved since they first opened. Service: Friendly service but it seems like they're still in the training phase with some of the employees. This didn't create any big issues just a minute delay while they asked how ring up the special. I will minus one star here since they don't list all the ingredients on the menu in the shop which unfortunately meant I couldn't really eat my first bagel and had to trade with the person I went with. The online menu seems to show all the ingredients, so I'd consult that one. Food: The bagels themselves were pretty good. So far I've ordered the heavenly hash (this is the one I didn't get really eat as it had onions on it that I didn't realize), the Hoosier (great taste), and the Big L (special, also really good). The bagel sandwiches are pretty large, a full sandwich is a little too much for me to comfortable eat, 1/2 is just about right if I'm an average level of hungry. The sandwiches are quite messy, but it's worth it, just make sure to grab a handful of napkins. Ambiance: The shop is on the small side for how busy it gets and can get a little confusing on if people are waiting to order or to pick up their food. They've had samples of bagel chips with some of their cream cheese spreads each time I've been, which has been quite nice. There's only a few places to sit and eat in the store but it seems most people place to go orders so this hasn't been an issue when we wanted to eat there. Overall: I'll definitely go back. If you have any allergies/sensitivities/aversions to ingredients don't trust the board in the store, ask them or check the website. read more

Was excited to see a bagel place open up nearby and tried to come as soon as I could find time. The good first - the bagels have a nice texture with crunchy exterior and soft interior. Not chewy at all. Lot of options for cream cheese. The bad - On a Friday morning around 8 am, the line was long and was moving soooo very slow for a breakfast place. There were two ladies helping at the counter but for a drink order one of them would have to go make it. Other person stood by the kitchen counter for orders to come from the kitchen. The checkout counter was unmanned for a long time, hence why the line moved slow. All I needed to order was bagels and 20 mins seemed a long time to wait for it! The other issue was that thee Everything Bagels were skimpily covered with the seeds and caraway seed was definitely missing from the mix. The bigger bummer was finding one bagel sliced it in a horribly lopsided manner(see pic)...makes for a bad experience while eating a big fat slice. I will definitely be trying this place one more time based on the taste of bagels but I really hope they can take care of their slowness. read more

We've tried multiple different bagel shops around town and none compare to the quality, taste, and freshness that we received here. We got the Heavenly Hash sandwiches with the onion and plain bagels and both meals were equally delicious. The interior of the restaurant was very clean and well kept, and we were greeted with a smile immediately upon walking in. The service was speedy and efficient with both our orders being prepared exactly how we requested. The food is great but the service is absolutely terrible. The staff is either annoyed to have a customer enter the store or ignoring the fact you're there. To top it off, they will watch you sign the receipt to make sure you're adding a tip. Sometimes you just crave a bagel and need to deal with crap service. Pretty awesome bagels in the area. The blueberry bagel with banana is out of this world. Make sure to get blueberry cream cheese! It's hard to find a bagel spot close to the caramel in Westfield area. We are lucky that the food is so good. The service is quick unlike other bagel places where you have to wait a very long time. The bagels were the closest I would say to New York style bagels in Indy! They had the chewy center and crispy outside. However, the cream cheese was not good. It was extremely runny and not the thicker consistency of cream cheese . We ordered the onion and chive and the onions were actual chunks of white onion. We even ended up taking off all the cream cheese and putting on our own at home. I am not going to totally count out this spot because again the bagels themselves were great. I thought I would give this place a try and I will start off by saying the bagels were phenomenal, but there's a little to be desired when it comes to ambience service and overall seating. I went in at a lunch hour, and there was one lady in front of me and two waiting at the tables or I should say bench table and it took me 20 minutes to get my food! There were two individuals working the front line; however, one of them was a younger lady that was busier checking out her schedule than helping deliver bags of food. It left me with a bad taste in my mouth, but I will attempt to try to give this a second chance because the food was good. It is definitely not a place to go if you're in a hurry. And looking at the other comments, it appears that most people agree with that comment. Also if you're looking for a new place to get coffee and have a coffee date or business meeting, this is not the place to go because there is absolutely limited and I mean very limited seating in the place. They've got a high top table L-shaped with four barstools. I hope in the summertime they'll have some outdoor seating that will allow me to grab a cup of coffee with a date. The Goldie Lox was layered with a hefty portion of silky lox, creamy schmear, fresh tomato, red onion, crisp cucumber, and capers, all balanced perfectly so every bite stayed intact without any messy bagel disasters. The bagel itself was a masterpiece with just the right level of doughiness. So many places settle for bagels that are hard and crouton-like, but B's gets it right with bagels that are soft, chewy, and have a perfect crunch when toasted. The Hoosier was another standout with a crispy chicken cutlet, fried egg, pickles, and house aioli all piled on a sesame bagel that tied everything together beautifully. We paid for coffee but they were out and the scared younger workers (not their fault...we were all there at one time) had no clue how to resolve the situation. The wait on a busy, but not terribly crazy weekend morning was 30 minutes after our simple order....crazy for a place with no seating.
