I think amount of cream cheese in both bagels was a lot for me personally but I liked the brown sugar cinnamon cream cheese the most. The location is small and gets busy especially on the weekends so if you do not want to wait in line, order ahead via their website so you do not have to wait. What a fun spot and love all the creative options! This was part of a Yelp event which was super generous. I loved the cheer of the cashier and the choices. We got super crispy tater tots which I devoured almost immediately! Yum! Perfect amount of crisp to fried and salty but not overly. Then the bagel which I saved for a bit later. They make them fresh daily which is obvious. Very chewy and delicious! They also had some soda options so I went with Triple XXX root beer, an Indiana classic. Yum! The his was a fun event and great spot for a breakfast or lunch bagel. This was my first visit to this location, but I have tried the sandwiches at the 96th St location. Same quality, same great service. I try a different sandwich every time, and I have not been disappointed yet. All have been yummy. This visit I tried the breakfast Hangover Helper sandwich because the cashier said it was her favorite. It comes on an everything bagel and includes chipotle cream cheese, bacon, egg, pepper jack, smoked Gouda, and provolone. It was very flavorful and packed full of cheese. I did ask for no egg. The taters are always a good time! They give you a large portion. The huge sandwich and tots are a very filling meal. This location is a bit smaller than the 96th location and is carry out only. I picked up Bearded Bagel for my husband for breakfast and his words were - "10/10." The Hangover Helper was so good especially with adding tomato l, I definitely wouldn't shy away from throwing your own customizations on because these bagels meant business. We can't wait to come back! The service was fantastic and while the shop seemed busy, it definitely wasn't that bad of a wait. Picked up several bagel sandwiches to go on a Saturday morning. The man at the register was polite and quickly took our orders. The inside is quite small so most of us waited back in the car while waiting for the sandwiches to be made, which didn't take too long. I ordered the Handy Andy which was good. Ok everybody.... first off the food was good. But our order was definitely not correct. We asked for minor adjustments to our food but these were just missed. It was like the employees were on autopilot! And to add to the experience my wife and could just tell the employees were just not happy to be at there job. I realize not everyone likes their jobs, but in a customer service job being nice and cheerful is detrimental to these types of jobs. Even if you are having a rough day you gotta fake it a little bit. Plus when I had to come back for things we asked on the side it was rough knowing I felt like a was burden for asking. I do have sympathy for people when they are in the weeds but we literally had 4 people waiting 15 plus minutes for bagel sandwiches.For only having minimal customers is was a pretty long wait. I feel like they could have been short staffed. Very easy and basic breakfast. Reminder here double check your orders everytime. As far as the ambiance it was very very small place and was probably an old dominoes at one time. Quiet and the staff was just matter a fact and a little cold. I would come back IF the staff was a little more inviting and the little simple mistakes were handled. Oh almost forgot it was our first time and I really wished the employee that took our order gave us a little more info on how the food was cooked and prepared including side. When is your first time a little guidance would be nice! Three stars is all could give because even though our orders weren't right the food was still good. I had a steamed Bulldog Breakfast bagel with plain cream cheese - perfectly soft, exceptional flavors, and just the right amount of kick with the jalapeño bagel and pepper jack cheese. Online order process was so smooth, and the pickup was quick and easy. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Only "complaint" is that as a bearded fellow, I needed some moist towelettes instead of napkins. Y'all should know better! Also good to know - there is no seating or restrooms here, so plan to eat in the car or elsewhere. And if you're a messy eater for real, be near a sink or plan ahead with some better cleanup options. On a whim we drove up to the Lawrence location this morning. We were a little surprised it was strictly carry out but we're fine. The person taking our order was great. Friendly & helpful. My awesome wife had a half order of the biscuits & gravy. She felt it was kind of bland & needed salt. I had the Perry which is a ham, egg& cheese on a plain bagel. It was fine. Nothing spectacular. We split an order of the tater tots. It too was cooked well but you could get the same at home. Started a new job this summer and happen to stumble across a new bagel place called Bearded Bagel. Unfortunately not every guy has a beard in here but they sure do know how to properly make a bagel they were all very attentive ready to take your order as soon as you walked in the door. When I go to dunkin I always get burned bagels that taste so bad, but here I bit into my bagel and it was soft with the perfect amount of crunchiness. The set up was very nice, but I feel they need music to set a really nice tone inside. I waited only about 5/6 mins for my bagel and then I was on the way. I love it when new places spring out of nowhere by my house. I noticed a Bearded Bagel sign pop up in the strip mall in front of the Kroger complex 2 days ago. Went in this morning and confirmed with the employee that they've been open a week! Plenty of parking but if it fills up, you can always park behind the building in the larger Kroger complex lot. All of the bagels are hand rolled and made at the location. I bought a half dozen and some veggie cream cheese. The bagels were chewy and crispy. Perfect. Their main location is on 96th st in the Sam's Club strip mall lot. This is a small walk in counter stand with a big menu board. Very excited that we now have a great bagel shop 2 mins from the house! This place will be very popular. read more

So good! I ordered the Kylie's Jam and it was delicious even though I had to let it sit for a while before I had the chance to dig in. The texture of the bagel was perfect and the pepper jam was too. I loved it and can't wait to go back to try moreof their many options. If you're going to buy bagels from this establishment to not go to the one on Fall Creek fall road. When I got down the road and decided to eat my Italian sandwich there were peppers any peppers on there and I specifically explained to them I did not want peppersini peppers I do not like them at all I told the girl twice and I guess you should check your order before you leave their establishment because they don't fill your order correctly. I have a sandwich that has lots of peppers any peppers melted into cheese and they did not ask me if I want my sandwich he did heard it cold nowhere did it say they were going to heat it and so it's a greasy mess and when I called them I explained I was too far down the road to come back and ask if they could just credit my credit card since I was probably the next to the last customer that was in there there was a family before me and a family after me so they could have easily credited my order for that sandwich he said the only thing he could do is make me another one and I explained I did not have time to go back and I would appreciate it if they would credit mind sandwich he refused to do so and said the only thing he could do was make me another one I explained I did not have time to come back I was traveling 7 hours and I did not want to spend 30 minutes driving there and back to the point I was at so I would have just said that establishment they're not very friendly neither one of them smiled me the one of them said welcome goodbye have a nice day nothing here there's another one that's a sit down restaurant this one was just a pick up place so I go I would try the other one. I am not sure how to rate "Bearded Bagel", since they were out of the bagel I wanted to try. As a first time customer, I was excited to give them a try. I am mainly writing this review concerning the limited stock of a product. The main reason for my trip to the store ( just two hours after opening ) was to try their asiago cheese bagels, but I was extremely disappointed to find out there were none available. I was informed that the product is popular and they usually sell out early in the day. At that, I returned to my car and called their other store just to be told they also were also sold out of the desired product. Not having sufficient stock of a popular item doesn't make good sense for the customer or the business. The store staff was very kind and informed me that I could order a day ahead, however that presents some problems. First, like most people I may not be in the area the next day and also most prepared or faster food foods items are an "in the moment" decision, not made 24 hrs in advance. I will rate the quality of the few bagels I purchased as satisfactory. read more
