I ordered two BECCY sandwiches, one on Rosemary sea salt, and the other on jalapeños cheddar bagels ... I ate mine it was AMAZING. My daughter was saving hers for lunch. I'm sure it'll be great. I love the organization even as busy as they are and everyone is so pleasant. Great way to start my day as I head to work. Thank you

LOVED this place!! My husband and I both got the bagel sandwiches! The jalapeño schmear was our favorite. Not spicy just good flavor!! I loved the coffee! They make all their syrups and the vanilla bean was very yummy. The only down side was the building gets really full of all people waiting for their food. They only have 3 picnic tables outside for seating. I wish there was indoor seating/ more room inside. The food is worth the wait but just plan to take it to-go.

It had been TOO long! That's all I'll say. My Saturdays are spent taking a nice stroll from my home & around Mass Ave. this go round I had been craving one of Sidedoor's bagels. I am SO happy I stopped. Forgot how much I enjoyed them. It was about 45 min until closing. The line was short , cashier was helpful with my order and I received my items in a timely manner. I got the weekend special bagel which was a yummy white cheddar garlic for the Beccy with plain cream cheese. For my bevy I indulged in the delicious toasted marshmallows iced latte with oatmilk. Zero regrets. Only wish I had a tiny bit more cream cheese. I'm sure this is hard because I've had one where I felt it was too much. Needless to say...Sidedoor-THANK YOU!

I absolutely love this place! This is the best bagel place that I've been to in Indianapolis by far. Their sourdough bagels are out of this world and they have such a unique and creative of flavors. The only thing that I wish they did that would match Apollo bagel in New York is making them fresh out of the oven as they are ordered. But otherwise, pretty quick service and a casual spot to grab brunch.

Sidedoor is pretty great. I usually stick with the Beccy; the cream cheese, egg, and bacon combo is flavorful. My favorite bagels are the Spicy Everything and the Jalapeño Cheddar. It can get pretty busy if you order in person, so I usually do pickup instead. I always get a text that my order is ready a few minutes before the scheduled pickup time, which is super convenient.

Not to be dramatic but I don't think I've ever had a better bagel in my life!! Sidedoor had so many options for sandwiches and they even had a BYO option so you can get exactly what you want. I got a bacon and egg bagel sandwich with garlic cream cheese and it was delicious! The egg was cooked over hard and the bagel was perfectly chewy. Not to mention the homemade cream cheese was to die for. Just the right amount of garlic. The staff was friendly enough, but definitely matched the relaxed vibe of the place. It's on a street corner which makes parking just a tad difficult, but there are lots of spots and we found one pretty easily on the street. This is BY FAR the best bagel place I've had around Indy, you won't want to miss it!

So to start, this place is exactly what it sounds like, a small restaurant, that serves coffee, bagels and sandwiches. On the ambiance side it was cute and fun and the service was great! The breakfast sandwich was fantastic. I got it on the cheesy bagel with garlic smcheer. Highly recommend! Also got the spicy everything bagel with their chili smcheer and it was also awesome. The only thing I might knock this place on is the small amount of breakfast sandwich options. The options are great but very few to choose from. Overall this is added to my breakfast sandwich and bagel go tos for sure!

I got the egg and Schmear bagel with a spicy everything bagel and it was very delicious. We had to drive home with the bagels but even with 15+ minutes, the bagels were still super soft and had the perfect chew. The spicy everything bagel is a flavor I haven't seen before, it's not very spicy but its got great flavor. I was also able to try a little bit of the herb and garlic smear, and that was very intensely herby. I liked it , but I could see it overpowering more subtle bagel flavors. This was a great breakfast for my first meal in Indy!

Being from New York City--the home of the best bagels in the world--I have high standards, but Sidedoor Bagels does it right! Their bagels are so good that they've made me stop missing NYC bagels. The spicy everything bagel is truly EVERYTHING. It has the perfect crunch on the outside while staying soft and fluffy on the inside. We also enjoyed the drinks, and we love that they offer a vegan cream cheese alternative! We're so happy we finally stopped in, and we'll be back time and time again. If you're a bagel lover, this place is a must-visit!

Be prepared to wait because the line does usually go out the door - but I promise it's worth it! I really have nothing more to say other than we got the Beccy sandwich with the jalapeño chedder bagel and the plain cream cheese. Chefs kiss. I loved it! They have some outdoor seating but it's limited. But on nice days, it's perfect to just stroll the neighborhood as you're eating.

Almost every Saturday, I wake up craving a Sidedoor bagel. I have not had a bagel here that I didn't love, and I've had a lot of bagels from here. Unless you go early or later on the weekend, ordering online is the move. Make sure to set your pickup time ahead of time, because they get so many orders on the weekends. Get any bagel on the menu, and you won't regret it!

Sidedoor is always packed and the perfect slow Sunday treat. The line has been pretty long every time I go but it never takes too long and is obviously worth the wait. Also, once you order, food comes out quite fast. The inside is fun and lively. They do usually sell out of bagels throughout the day, so if you want a specific flavor, go earlier in the morning. The BECCY is always 10/10 but decided to get the sausage, egg and schmear today on a spicy everything bagel. It wasn't very spicy at all l honestly, it was perfect. Sadly though, they forgot to cut it in half so I had to at home and it was slipping all over the place it was incredibly hard to eat. Honestly that was my only con today and it was a tiny mistake. The latte was delicious and only $6 for a 20oz. The employees are very friendly and help if you have any questions. Parking in the area is free and they have a few picnic tables outside to eat if it's nice out.

Bearded Bagel is a wonderful bagel place off of E 96th St. that makes their own bagels and provides breakfast sandwiches. When I arrived and walked into the bagel shop, I noticed the menu on the wall right away, and a casual, but bland, ambiance where people can sit to relax and socialize. The woman behind the counter greeted me with a smile and asked for my order. I took a few minutes to study the menu, and decided to go with the Doctor T's Sandwich for breakfast which is egg, American cheese, and Turkey sausage on a plain bagel. I also picked up a 1/2 dozen bagels for the week and tried the assorted flavors: asiago, blueberry, jalapeno, jalapeno cheddar, cran cinnamon, and everything. I did get an iced latte with almond milk for my beverage. The beverage was wonderful and refreshing. It was what I needed to pick me up in the morning. The Doctor T's sandwich was Ok and tasted good. The turkey sausage and egg combination was a perfect fit, but will see if I can get it on a Jalapeno cheddar bagel next time, because that would make it even better. The bagels are always top notch and first class. The jalapeno cheddar bagel and jalapeno bagel are my favorite. The cran cinnamon bagel is always good. Bearded Bagel is a wonderful bagel place in Indy, and the fact that thet have another location opening up very soon off of 79th Street makes me very happy because I can go somewhere else to get their bagels. I'm very glad I stopped by at Bearded Bagel for breakfast because now I can say I have been here, and it is worth the price and time for the bagels and breakfast sandwiches. You will see me here again for sure.

Counter service for coffee is pretty quick for a mid-afternoon visit. I got the Neapolitan rose latte from the March spring specials. It was kind of expensive ($8 for 16 oz) but very delicious. It was a floral kind of sweet with the addition of a hint of rose. The pink foam colored with strawberry and beet powders adds to the overall cutesy effect! I also got a cocoa brownie ($2.50, about a 3-inch square) and that is surely chocolatey. I didn't find it to be too sweet but it doesn't lack in that department either. They use a Dutch process cocoa in their brownie to give it that signature dark color. Flavor wise, I can best describe it as an Oreo Cakester without the cream filling. One friend ordered the same grits but swapped in fried catfish instead of bacon--also a fantastic choice. Our third went with a classic plate with eggs and bacon, and let me tell you, the bacon is thick and plentiful. We ordered a side of fries for the table and there were more than enough to share. We were greeted right away and looked over the menu a bit before ordering. My husband ordered the country breakfast with chicken (definitely the way to go) and I ordered the cheesy jalapeño grits with bacon. We each got a cup for water and I ordered a coffee, excited because I saw ahead of going that it was self-serve (like at Cafe Patachou where I can get as many coffees as I like without having to wait for our server to come check on us first). However, the self serve coffee excitement was short-lived after seeing that they only offered half and half as creamer (I'm lactose intolerant) and the two coffee carafes were not labeled for what was inside (decaf? medium roast? you'll never know!) and then one was completely empty and never refilled during our visit. The water station also was not ever refilled during our visit, so we were not able to get refills after filling up our cups the first time. It took a couple of tries to find a table we could sit at because you seat yourself, but several had not been cleaned after other guests left and had food and drinks spilled on them. There were definitely enough staff members there to be able to clean them in between customers, so we weren't sure why they were left that way. We ended up sitting in the middle of the room towards the front, across from the clown art wall, which made for interesting conversation as we looked through everything. When the food came out I was impressed with the portions, but I had no flavor whatsoever to my cheesy jalepeno grits. The egg and bacon were good, but not enough to make it a good dish and I would not order it again. And I love savory breakfast and grits in general, so it was a real bummer. My husband's dish was worth the visit though. It was a huge portion size and we honestly would just split it if we came back and ordered it. It was so savory, seasoned perfectly, and juicy. One of the best breakfast dishes I have tried recently! I really debated between 3-4 stars for this, but my dish was a flop, the lack of cleanliness for the seating area, the lackluster self-serve coffee station, and not refilling the beverages ultimately scored a 3 star review for me. I would come back and try something else though, or split the country chicken breakfast because it was really good. Hopefully next time the beverages won't be empty!
