This is such a cute little spot with so many bagel options. Although it was quite busy, the wait time is not too long and the staff is very courteous. There is no seating outside but there is some outside. Also, there is limited parking outside of the. I really loved the savory scallion and bacon cheese spread (schmear). The matcha strawberry schmear was also very delightful. I got a plain bagel for both options which was soft, a little chewy and perfect when toasted. If you are looking for an inexpensive and quick breakfast, stop bye.
Went to NewYork a while back and had some Amazing bagels! I came here during my search to find Indy's good eats, and this place did not disappoint. The shop is super cute, the vibe was on point, and everyone--from the staff to the customers--was incredibly friendly. There was a short line, but it moved really quickly. I ordered the turkey bagel on a jalapeño cheddar bagel, a blueberry bagel with strawberry matcha smear, and a mocha vanilla latte. When my daughter saw the blueberry bagel with the green matcha smear, she wanted no parts of it! I think the color threw her off, but the flavor was phenomenal... so I ended up eating her bagel instead, lol. The turkey bagel was really good and fresh. The jalapeño cheddar bagel was soft and paired perfectly with the turkey. At first, I didn't like the latte, but after a quick stir, it came to life and was delicious! I'm definitely ordering all three again and can't wait to come back.
Wonderful atmosphere and very kind employees! However, we won't be back. The food is overpriced. The portions are smaller than expected and the quality of the food isn't great. We stopped in around 11 am for two sandwiches and two drinks. Sausage egg and cheese specifically should be avoided. The sausage is THIN, and crunchy. Similar to bacon like texture. Paired with one egg and LOTS of cream cheese. Happy we tried a new place, but will not be back.
Finally made it here after the weather kept me away last visit. We stopped by mid morning on a Saturday, so they were busy, as expected. If you're in a rush, definitely order online, as we saw plenty of people picking up while we were in line. I ended up going with one of my standbys at bagel shops, their sausage breakfast sandwich, which I had on a spicy everything bagel. Super messy to eat, but very good. Glad I finally stopped by!
Sidedoor was a very cute shop and the bagels did had a ton of flavor! Food: I loved the level of flavor they packed into the bagels. The spicy cheddar really packed a punch and went well with the sausage and egg. I think next time I'd try something more schmear focused. Service: Staff were fast and polite. Atmosphere: The pop of color and decor is very modern and welcoming. The outdoor seating was particularly nice on the day we went.
I'd been wanting to come here for a while, and I'm glad to finally have made the trip! The bagels are sooooo good. They definitely don't skimp on the cream cheese, which I personally love. I had the sesame cinnamon sugar bagel and it was a perfect blend of salty and sweet. Bonus is that they have good coffee! Service was quick and we got a nice spot outside to enjoy our food. We will definitely be back!
Loved the bagels here -- fresh, chewy, and worth the wait, though a few small misses on my order. Came by on a busy Saturday morning (lines were long, but you can order online ahead!). I tried the Spicy Lox and the Sausage, Egg & Cheese. The lox was delicious but not actually spicy and missing jalapeños, which was a bit disappointing since it's an upcharge (but forgivable given the long lines). The Sausage, Egg & Cheese was fine, but I just wish the egg were more jammy instead of fully cooked. The bagels themselves were delicious, chewy with great texture, though the Rosemary & Salt was very salty (fair warning). The best discovery of this trip was $5 frozen bagel 6-packs. I'll definitely be back to grab more of those and try other flavors!
It had been TOO long! That's all I'll say. My Saturdays are spent taking a nice stroll from my home & around Mass Ave. this go round I had been craving one of Sidedoor's bagels. I am SO happy I stopped. Forgot how much I enjoyed them. It was about 45 min until closing. The line was short , cashier was helpful with my order and I received my items in a timely manner. I got the weekend special bagel which was a yummy white cheddar garlic for the Beccy with plain cream cheese. For my bevy I indulged in the delicious toasted marshmallows iced latte with oatmilk. Zero regrets. Only wish I had a tiny bit more cream cheese. I'm sure this is hard because I've had one where I felt it was too much. Needless to say...Sidedoor-THANK YOU!
I ordered two BECCY sandwiches, one on Rosemary sea salt, and the other on jalapeños cheddar bagels ... I ate mine it was AMAZING. My daughter was saving hers for lunch. I'm sure it'll be great. I love the organization even as busy as they are and everyone is so pleasant. Great way to start my day as I head to work. Thank you
LOVED this place!! My husband and I both got the bagel sandwiches! The jalapeño schmear was our favorite. Not spicy just good flavor!! I loved the coffee! They make all their syrups and the vanilla bean was very yummy. The only down side was the building gets really full of all people waiting for their food. They only have 3 picnic tables outside for seating. I wish there was indoor seating/ more room inside. The food is worth the wait but just plan to take it to-go.
Fantastic bagel shop! Was looking for a breakfast spot close to Bottleworks Hotel and decided to give Sidedoor a try. Glad we did! Arrived a few minutes before they opened so sat on the deck and watched them prepping for opening. Everyone was moving with purpose but were also smiling and even laughing occasionally, was nice to see. Opened right on time to several people waiting already. Placed our order- the Leo (lox, egg, onion) on sea salt rosemary bagel Ana Beccy (bacon, egg, cream cheese ) on spicy cheddar bagel and an assortment of bagels to go. Went to the pickup counter to find two workers piling up to go orders, line for ordering was to the door already, but everyone was relaxed and orders were flying out. We had our order in just a few minutes and sat outside again (interior seating is not available). Sandwiches were amazing, no skimping on the ingredients, grab plenty of napkins! Bagels had the perfect texture and wonderful flavor.
love the vibe and tasty drinks. got an everything bagel with cream cheese, it being suuuuuper salty was the only thing that stopped me from enjoying it fully.
I absolutely love this place! This is the best bagel place that I've been to in Indianapolis by far. Their sourdough bagels are out of this world and they have such a unique and creative of flavors. The only thing that I wish they did that would match Apollo bagel in New York is making them fresh out of the oven as they are ordered. But otherwise, pretty quick service and a casual spot to grab brunch.

Having heard AMAZING things about Sidedoor, I finally had to check it out for myself - definitely the best bagel I've had in the city! Even if you're not in the market for a bagel sammie, the latte is worth a trip in. Ordered for pickup with no issues - the staff were both welcoming & helpful (first timer = clueless)! read more
First time in Indianapolis and was craving a Lox Bagel with Cream cheese. The store is a little off the beaten path. It a small corner bagel shop with no indoor seating, but 4 picnic style tables outside. The greeter was very nice and I ordered my Lox bagel and an Americano. The bagel wasn't toasted (maybe I should have asked for that) but had cucumber, dill, pickled red onions, capers, and cream cheese. Good, but toasted would have moved this rating to 5 stars. They should ask when you order, it would help. In any case, I recommend Sidedoor Bagel and would definitely try again when staying downtown. Cheers! read more
Phenomenal bagel shop! You know it has to be good when there's a line out the door onto the sidewalk on a Saturday morning! I am a breakfast sandwich expert, and these bagel sandwiches have some of the most appetizing and beautiful cross-sections I've ever seen! Once you try the spicy everything bagel, you will never want to go back to a regular everything bagel. I am also not exaggerating when I say their garlic & herb schmear is the best garlic & herb schmear I've ever had. So flavorful and genuinely herbaceous! On the weekends, I recommend ordering ahead online if you want to skip the line, but keep in mind, it can definitely be a long wait either way. You pick up your order at the counter right inside the door. To order in person, there's a cashier further into the store. They really do their best to crank out sandwiches efficiently! read more

Not to be dramatic but I don't think I've ever had a better bagel in my life!! Sidedoor had so many options for sandwiches and they even had a BYO option so you can get exactly what you want. I got a bacon and egg bagel sandwich with garlic cream cheese and it was delicious! The egg was cooked over hard and the bagel was perfectly chewy. Not to mention the homemade cream cheese was to die for. Just the right amount of garlic. The staff was friendly enough, but definitely matched the relaxed vibe of the place. It's on a street corner which makes parking just a tad difficult, but there are lots of spots and we found one pretty easily on the street. This is BY FAR the best bagel place I've had around Indy, you won't want to miss it! read more
Sidedoor is pretty great. I usually stick with the Beccy; the cream cheese, egg, and bacon combo is flavorful. My favorite bagels are the Spicy Everything and the Jalapeño Cheddar. It can get pretty busy if you order in person, so I usually do pickup instead. I always get a text that my order is ready a few minutes before the scheduled pickup time, which is super convenient. read more

I got the egg and Schmear bagel with a spicy everything bagel and it was very delicious. We had to drive home with the bagels but even with 15+ minutes, the bagels were still super soft and had the perfect chew. The spicy everything bagel is a flavor I haven't seen before, it's not very spicy but its got great flavor. I was also able to try a little bit of the herb and garlic smear, and that was very intensely herby. I liked it , but I could see it overpowering more subtle bagel flavors. This was a great breakfast for my first meal in Indy! read more

So to start, this place is exactly what it sounds like, a small restaurant, that serves coffee, bagels and sandwiches. On the ambiance side it was cute and fun and the service was great! The breakfast sandwich was fantastic. I got it on the cheesy bagel with garlic smcheer. Highly recommend! Also got the spicy everything bagel with their chili smcheer and it was also awesome. The only thing I might knock this place on is the small amount of breakfast sandwich options. The options are great but very few to choose from. Overall this is added to my breakfast sandwich and bagel go tos for sure! read more
Being from New York City--the home of the best bagels in the world--I have high standards, but Sidedoor Bagels does it right! Their bagels are so good that they've made me stop missing NYC bagels. The spicy everything bagel is truly EVERYTHING. It has the perfect crunch on the outside while staying soft and fluffy on the inside. We also enjoyed the drinks, and we love that they offer a vegan cream cheese alternative! We're so happy we finally stopped in, and we'll be back time and time again. If you're a bagel lover, this place is a must-visit! read more

Be prepared to wait because the line does usually go out the door - but I promise it's worth it! I really have nothing more to say other than we got the Beccy sandwich with the jalapeño chedder bagel and the plain cream cheese. Chefs kiss. I loved it! They have some outdoor seating but it's limited. But on nice days, it's perfect to just stroll the neighborhood as you're eating. read more

Almost every Saturday, I wake up craving a Sidedoor bagel. I have not had a bagel here that I didn't love, and I've had a lot of bagels from here. Unless you go early or later on the weekend, ordering online is the move. Make sure to set your pickup time ahead of time, because they get so many orders on the weekends. Get any bagel on the menu, and you won't regret it! read more
Sidedoor is always packed and the perfect slow Sunday treat. The line has been pretty long every time I go but it never takes too long and is obviously worth the wait. Also, once you order, food comes out quite fast. The inside is fun and lively. They do usually sell out of bagels throughout the day, so if you want a specific flavor, go earlier in the morning. The BECCY is always 10/10 but decided to get the sausage, egg and schmear today on a spicy everything bagel. It wasn't very spicy at all l honestly, it was perfect. Sadly though, they forgot to cut it in half so I had to at home and it was slipping all over the place it was incredibly hard to eat. Honestly that was my only con today and it was a tiny mistake. The latte was delicious and only $6 for a 20oz. The employees are very friendly and help if you have any questions. Parking in the area is free and they have a few picnic tables outside to eat if it's nice out. read more

This is my second time at side door. The first time I got the All American which is only available on Tuesdays. It was one of the best bagel sandwiches I had and even though I ordered when I arrived rather than ordering online, I didn't wait long for my order to be ready. I also tried one of their matcha lattes my first time and it was delicious as well. A perfect balance of sweetness in my opinion. This go round, I got the Beccy on a spicy everything bagel and I added cheese, jalapeño schmear, and hot honey. I also got 2 bags of kettle chips (jalapeño and barbecue) and a chocolate chip cookie. My sandwich was really good, the chips were also good with and without the sandwich. The cookie was one of the best I've had in a while. This time I ordered online and only had to wait about 13 minutes or so before my order was ready. Both times I spent around $20 for the things I got. Overall, I love this place and can't wait to try more on my next visit! read more

I happened to drive by Sidedoor after an event at the CCIC. It always gets great reviews so I figured I better turn around and give it a try. Just my luck that I make it at closing time. (1:30) Staff were awesome about serving me anyway. To make it quick and easy I just went with a mix of bagels. The bagels are sourdough based and good sized. Each a meal in itself. Went with Poppy seed, Everything, Rosemary, Cheddar and a Cinnamon. The Cheddar got finished on the way home and was very tasty. The seeded and salted have so much of each on them they'd make a mess in your car. But worth it anyway. They have plenty of sandwiches and schmear options plus all your coffee and cold drink needs. Try the orange vanilla craft soda. Next time I will plan to get there earlier to try more bagels! read more
Stopped in Sidedoor right before they closed today to grab a BLT on a spicy everything bagel. Was in and out in less than 5ish minutes and the girl working the register was so pleasant! She recommended the Orange Vanilla soda and it's DELICIOUS. Thanks for serving great bagels Sidedoor! read more
Popped in here this morning. This was the second time I'd been in, and just as impressed as the first. Service was quick. The place was clean and updated. I had the turkey run sandwich. The garlic schmear lived up to its garlicyness, and the bagel was tasty. The turkey on it was smoked and a had nice touch to it. Looking forward to returning and trying out some of the other options they have. read more
