Freaking Amazing! This is by far the best bakery I have been to in my entire 33 years on this earth. As a visitor from Texas, we typically know that most things are better here (haha). That doesn't seem to be the case with bakeries. Every selection seemed to be hand crafted as if that was their bread and butter item. Pecan shortbreads to macaroons, to sticky buns and cake they have it all covered. I was literally blown away by how good it was. Believe the hype on this one, as it far exceeded my expectations. Took my Dad here on our semi annual vacation to Bozeman to visit his sister. He had the huge Almond Croissant and I had the friand and Russian tea cake. We both were overwhelmed with the taste of everything. Friand was crispy in the outside, soft and full of flavor on the inside. The Russian tea cake tasted exactly like the ones my mom and I made when I was a kid. Beautiful place, friendly staff and the food was amazing!! Wahoo! A place to have awesome croissants, pastries, and good coffee. Bonus...it is in the NE neighborhood! Ordered cakes recently for two different parties, and both cakes were amazing - great taste, beautiful, and not too sweet. Last Saturday had a strawberry macaroon, crispy on the outside sticky inside - best macaroon I have ever had. Seems like a popular spot to get mobile work done and the interior design had a modern vibe too, and the exterior was made of some material that seems like it's supposed to rust which looked pretty cool as well. Wild Crumb is probably my favorite place in Bozeman. They've got great pastries, really good tea, and always friendly staff. The only thing I don't like are their awful metal chairs that are so trendy right now. Usually the deciding factor in whether I come here or go somewhere else is how willing I am to be uncomfortable the whole time. They're cold and you can't lean against the backrest at all. We saw that our slice was missing a portion. We ordered two caprese sandwiches but only got one. The scone were doughie but good. The danish was nice. Pie was good. Ham and gruyere croissant was fantastic with the savory ham and buttery gruyere. Pain au chocolat hits the spot with quality chocolate and buttery pastry. My friend brought me here when I was visiting Bozeman, and I fell in love. I had quiche, a Friand thing, and took an almond croissant to go (for later). I should have eaten the croissant right away. It got dried out and hardened a bit. Next time I'm in town, I might binge eat everything inside this bakery. The coffee was good too. This place must be popular because there were no seats at first. wild crumb is my happy place. They have so many yummy and pretty treats/breads/pastries/etc. This is your quaint, bright, friendly, picturesque, from a movie bakery. One of my favorite items is their sandwiches they have prepared by 11 am. From my experience, they have a meat or veggie version. They are each unique sandwiches with interesting flavors. I'm not a vegetarian/vegan but the veggie sandwich options are always so tempting. They aren't your typical lettuce, tomato, and cucumber veggie sandwich. They add sprouts or beets or hummus as well. Just veggies that you don't typically see on sandwiches. Definitely give this place a chance if you are in town and I promise you won't be able to just leave with one item! read more

One of my favorite places in Bozeman. So many pastries and around 10:30 or 11AM they start bringing out sandwiches. We were here early, so we tried one of their breakfast biscuit egg sandwiches...wow. Didn't look promising as they were pre-made and wrapped in foil, but they are absolutely amazing. The biscuits are probably made with a stick of butter each, but they are worth it. It was a great way to start our busy day! The pastries are really delicious too!!!! An absolute splendid & delectable plethora of goodies! I have visited many bakeries from all over and this one by far exceeds expectations and surpasses all the other. Here you can find outstanding pastries, desserts, breads, breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches all hand crafted, heartfelt and then openly displayed atop a wooden table with a glass partition. There are so many delicious goods to choose from, it makes me sweat! Service is wonderful, atmosphere is cozy & low key, community is warm and familiar and the shop is simple, quaint and straightforward, without the distraction of anything else but the quality baked goods and quality drip coffee (a local roaster too). To the woman from Palm Beach complaining about her bags being touched STAY HOME. You should not be traveling if you have that much fear about COVID, and you should be preparing your own food. The cashier should have more fear and anxiety about you being in her bakery. You (like me) are a GUEST in Montana and you should mind your manners. Stay home. Now, this is the greatest bakery in the world and my husband who is French insists on coming here every morning of every visit to Bozeman because the croissants are EXACTLY as they are in France. This is one of my favorite places in Bozeman. I stop here almost every Sunday morning and grab an assortment of goodies, unfortunately all for myself. The ham and Gruyere croissant is always at the top of my list, but if I don't get there early enough, they're usually out. I don't think this is a bad thing, but a sign of how crazy good they are, and if anything it gives me a little incentive to get my butt out of bed sooner. I would eat one of these every morning if I could get away with it. Everything always tastes and looks fresh. They have an incredible set up with very speedy and friendly servers who seem to like their jobs. For one, my husband and I have been coming here every weekend for coffee, pastries, and reading. It's a nice place to read (before lots of people wake up and bring their....enthusiastic children inside), and of course the pastries are to die for. Secondly, we ordered about ten pies for our wedding day! They were fantastic! Everyone at the wedding praised the quality and I was more than happy to let them know where they were from. The egg sandwiches are in desperate need of improvement. The English Muffin Is barely toasted and is soggy with gluey cheese having steamed in foil since heaven knows when and the bacon is raw more often than not - it is never crispy. Please improve on these breakfast sandwiches!! read more

And if you want to order something, such as a cake, they'll rudely tell you that "they're no longer taking cake orders for the rest of the summer". We like to call it the Wicked Crumb - cuz its so wicked good! This IS the place in Bozeman to get authentic pastries and gourmet sandwiches. Everything here is legit fab - The tarts, the cookies, the muffins and pastries. On your way to Bridger to ski? Pick up one of their farm fresh egg sandwiches on a homemade english muffin YUM. The chocolate cream pie is the best I have ever had. The lemon meringue tart is worth fighting over. The staff are super friendly and very patient when it comes to allowing guests to take it all in - you will understand when you walk in - one look at the pastry case and you will stand in awe and proceed to gawk (yes mouth wide open in astonishment). The sandwiches are on fresh baguettes with gourmet ingredients like fig jam and arugula. They change their sandwich options daily. On other thing: The homemade sourdough bread is the best I have ever had in my life. Sourdough bread is serious business so I do not say this lightly.
